The entire staff was very kind and we loved their hospitality. Beds are super comfy and the poolside room was perfect. The hotel location is great being only a few blocks from the beach and the new Terminal 21 mall across the street.

Expedia charged me top rate to include breakfast. But the hotel were told no breakfast included. Therefore I had to pay again for breakfast making it a very expensive holiday. 520bht crazy for breakfast in Thailand in an average hotel

Staff really friendly, clean, adequate price. Breakfast food good.
We personally liked the location. Not in the busy area, but good connection when you have a motorcycle to jump on to then go and explore the city. Shower detached itself from the wall, but I called the reception and they send a handyman to fix it so no problem there.
There was only one thing i didnt like, I was told I couldnt take coffee to my room after breakfast, a little shame as I like to take time drinking my cup of coffee :( but its a small personal thing i guess...
Other than that I totally recommend it.

Air c0nditioner broke down 2 times. Once was overnight and could not be fixed. There were no sockets to charge my phone near the bed-- They were across the room at the desk.

The balcony was filthy. Hair in my shower and no hot water.

Great place to stay in Pattaya

Woodlands is a good deal. It is quiet yet close to the beach and action. The rooms and the pool/landscaping are attractive and everything is very clean.

Gym is well equipped (for a hotel without a public gym) for weight training but only had one treadmill. The pool water is very clear. Nice balconies. Would advise 2nd floor for balcony with privacy and covering from sun and rain.

Breakfast had a wide selection with good coffee and bread, two things that are not common in Asia. Western options are limited but they will make omelettes so good overall.

Only downsides are the spa and restaurant (after breakfast) are closed so not realty a resort but both exist right to the left of the hotel. You get a 10% discount at the restaurant.

Staff overall was friendly.

Would stay again.

No wai or Thai smile as a welome greeting

One thing you can usually be sure of is a traditional Thai welcome with a wai and the famous Thai smile! Well, not at Woodlands.
The falling leaves on the walkways and the sunchairs are not cleaned and with the rain it make walking on the property somewhat unsafe. There should be signs of slippery floors. Please.

lovely and clean hotel the garden area is really well kip and the area where the pool is so nice that you can stay there all day with out a problem the staff is so nice and are happy to help you, they have to nice restaurant one French with some Vietnamese food what I tray and was good quality, the Italian is ok the pizza was nice for a change, and the cake place was please to relax, however is walking distant of everything, if you are looking for party is out side of the hotel.

This is my new favourite hotel in Pattaya, I've stayed in many hotel there but this one is really beautiful, peaceful and elegant. Specially the pool connected room will give you very luxurious feeling. Food are amazing, staff are very polite and friendly, also very helpful.

Would definitely stay there again.

Good small/medium hotel in good location

This was our second stay here - several years apart - the hotel is well located and has a secluded area back from the street. The hotel is in North Pattaya and away from the the busy areas but they are easily accessible by baht bus. There are plenty of bars and restaurants around the hotel.

Short visit to Pattaya

Good overall experience, and would stay in this hotel again.

One thing was that there are no elevators, and our first room was on the third floor. I later extended for a day and had a ground floor room opening onto the pool, excellent.

One thing missing, and a bit strange for a Thai hotel was the gun for washing after the toilet.

Overall god experience and would stay again but I would request a ground floor room adjacent to the pool.

This hotel is a solid 4 star facility with a five star staff. The pool is beautiful and the hotel has lush trees and landscaping. The breakfast buffet is very average. Parking is very limited if you have a car. Transportation by baht bus is very easy and there is a Family Mart across the street.

It was an oasis in the desert,well managed and friendly helpful staff. The buffet breakfast was first class and was a

I think the hotel reflected the price, an ok room and ok surroundings but needs an update and an injection of liveliness as the bar and facilities in the hotel itself were either closed or mediocre. The Baggette Cafe and La Femme Restaurant attached to the resort are wonderful however, and should be visited wether staying there or not. We did look at the Woodland Suites as an option for the week after our stay which were much better value and very spacious, were prefer these in future.

A memorable stay

I am extremely satisfied by the hospitality which was provided by the hotel. The staff was very friendly and nice and I would like to specially thank the receptionist at the check in counter because our check in time was 2 o'clock in the afternoon but even though we arrived early in the morning they provided a room for us. I would also like to thank Mr Phong the bellboy who helped us to go around in Pattaya. The buffet breakfast had lots of variety and my family really enjoyed at the pool.If I ever get an opportunity to revisit Pattaya I would love see you all again. Thank you very much for making our trip more memorable

Nice 3 Night Stay in Pattaya

We booked at the resort and were checked in in their worst room, it seems maybe because I asked him to give me a good room. There was a nasty smell emanating from the bathroom and we asked reception to change our room but he said the resort was fully booked. We were in a situation because it late in the night after 12 midnight. I called again the reception and asked if they had anything in woodlands Suites and was lucky and had to move but for an upgrade of 1400 baht per night charge. I accepted as I did not have any other option. The suites was nice and cosy good value for money paid but no amends were made by the resort side.

Place to hide in a very crowded city.

Nice location with resort style hotel.
There are 2 pools in the hotel. So many corner to sit back and relax your day. It comes in resort style and the atmosphere inside the hotel is really calm and feel fresh.
Room is comfortable and clean. Staffs are all helpful.
Hotel facilities are good. Pools, gym, meeting place, restaurants, garden, and car park.
There are many zone of 2 levels building for guest room.

Breakfast is good.
Restaurants and cafe are at the hotel. Also famous La baguette cafe and restaurant is just in the front door of the hotel.

Anyway, if you stay with accessibility person or old person, you'd better tell the hotel in advance and ask for the room that in the front zone of the hotel area. Last time I got zone 5 it's a bit far from hotel entrance and restaurant somehow not that convenient for my dad.
Prepare for insect spray if you don't like them....it's just normal for place like this with lots of tree.

An oasis of calm

The hotel was an oasis away from the craziness that is Pattaya. Clean and modern rooms and hotel and lovely pool areas. Staff were friendly and helpful and breakfast had plenty of choice. The hotel is 5 mins from the beach but the pool was far nicer to stay around. Would definitely recommend.

2 incidents would like to mention....
1. during my stay... arrived pool bar on 4:30 and see if happy hr is finish or not... the pool bar staff asked me to wait.... after a minute.. she told me \"happy hr finished!\".. just query why she doesnt tell me when i ask...
2. gym room equipnment should check more frequent... the running machine need to replace the emegency button and cant work....other equipnment also feel aging..

Overall a nice hotel. Nice breakfast, and good food in the restaurant. The pool bar personnel could be more attentive but it's no big deal. The hotel doesn't have that many sunbeds so if you like to sleep-in it's likely that you won't get one. The location is good near the city center but still a quit area.

Nice weekend away

I requested to have adjoining rooms with the people I was travelling with. It was important as I was travelling alone with a toddler and the help was important to me. We were assured it was do-able at booking and again at check in. Then we were put in rooms completely across the resort. After quite a bit of pleading and pushing, they switched us around for the 2nd and last day of our stay, even though they were very full.
It was quite difficult being on the first floor as walking up and down stairs with a toddler and a stroller but if you want main floor you must pay the extra money for a poolside room.
The pool was beautiful. The hotel was well kept up. Breakfast buffet was pretty good. Restaurant food was good. Rooms were clean and well kept. The lobby is open air so very hot, be prepared. Air conditioning in rooms worked very well. I would recommend friends and family to stay here and I would stay again, but would try to book a main floor room if visiting again with small kids.

Enjoyable stay at the Woodlands Hotel & Resort

Stayed for a week with my wife and we both enjoyed ourselves. The staff was very nice, the hotel well kept, and coffee, eggs and pastries served at breakfast were excellent. Noise from the street was minimal, and the pool was pleasant. There is an on-site spa facility that my wife enjoyed. SIM cards, sodas and snacks can be had next door at a 24-hour convenience store, and a currency exchange booth can be found on the same street corner. Internet was free in the lobby, but charged for in the room (rates were reasonable). Note to travelers: the secret to dealing with the Thai (as with most people in the world) is to always smile and be courteous. This will almost always be reciprocated by the Thai. As a group they are some of the most pleasant people I have ever dealt with (and I have traveled throughout Europe, the Middle East, the Far East and SW & SE Asia).
