We arrived at 9 AM and were expecting to checkin at least a little bit early. The front desk was not at all accommodating and was firm with the 2 PM strict checkin.

We has to launder around here and there and the fact that we could not freshen up after a long flight made this entire experience frustrating. We tried our luck to checkin again around 1 PM. She was again firm that we had to wait until 2 PM.

Apart from this experience, rest of the stay was fine. The hotel is located very close to the beach and bangla road.

Room is spacious and clean, excellent customer services, fast wifi, quiet working A/c. Central location with excellent food opposite the hotel and a reliable, trust worthy, reasonable price pink tuktuk (no A464 Mr Khu) parks around the corner

Loved staying here! It’s in a terrific location, only about a 1.5 minute walk to the beach and the street it’s on was one of the most peaceful in Patong. The rooms and common areas are all cute and very clean but the true stars of the show are the staff. They were all kind and helpful and very professional and went above and beyond after the airline lost my wife’s bag. 10/10 would recommend.

- food stall just opp hotel
- spacious room with full toiletries

Overall: really satisfied with everything. Will definitely recommend to those with children.

This is my second stay with Kokotel , the first in Chingmai n now in Phuket. I booked a quadruple room with 4 single beds. The room is very spacious and clean. The bed is comfortable. Breakfast is standard .The hotel locate near Patong beach but about 15 to 20 mins walk to Junclyon shopping mall. I like the family room that feel cost to stay together.

Location was superb, just a stonethrow away from Patong beach and all the amenities, massage parlors, restaurants and pharmacies.
We booked 2 rooms, 1 double and 1 triple, the double room was fine but the triple room was really bad- funny layout, noisy airconds, hooks and showerhead’s height made for 6 footers. When asked for a change, was told that all other triple rooms were in another building nearby with no escalators. As we prefer to be close to our friends, we didnt take that option. When pressed for other options, we were offered to upgrade to a quadruple room for a top up fee :( In the end we opted for a 4 bed dorm type room but we later found to be dusty and AC not cooling.

Felt like a bait and switch. This property is more a hostel/motel than a hotel. The reception area is made to look contemporary but the room itself was so abysmal. There was no desk and balcony as advertised, the bathroom was just cubicles, it felt like an outhouse. The shower walls had some dried soap crusted on the walls and constantly smells of sewage. The floors were cement and not tiles as shown in the picture and although the sheets were clean, they felt musty. While having breakfast, at least five cockroaches was roaming around the cafe area. We live on the 5th floor but the elevator only reaches 4th floor. We then had to lug our luggages by ourselves. Any amenities has to be requested from the reception, which is not manned at all times. I was handed an opened toothbrush set and there was some tooth paste residue inside the pack and I returned it. The staff spoke among themselves that it seemed OK and the toothbrush was not used, they smell-tested it. If it is opened, IT IS NOT SANITARY. I do not want to smell it. My room and the reception also constantly had sewage smell. On my last night, there was no water. There was no warning, and I was told to shower in the lobby.

Overall, I would have been happy with this place if it was cheaper as with what I paid for I could get an actual hotel. The location is actually very very good and the staff is actually very very nice. It's the hotel itself that I find unacceptable. I would come back if the price was cheaper.

I booked 3night with kokotel and i can say this is the perfect spot to stay in patong phuket. The hotel is family friendly! It a perfect place where its like everything you need is at your doorstep. You can easily grab a car outside, you wont be hungry because the opposite side of the building is a food court where they offer different kind of thai foods! Then on the main road about 1min walk is the convenient store where the staffs are polite and everything you need is there. Forex a minute walk. also surrounded with treatment centers. And the most exciting part is the beach where it is just 3mins away from the building.
The hotel is amazing, have pool and lift. I like the structure of the building because aside from its a family hotel and built is resort friendly guest where you can come back in wet clothes from the beach. Staffs are so polite especially those who are assigned in the bar. The room is cozy and spacious as in our case have 4 beds, one private toilet, complete amenities. i love the bottled water, they are not small unlike other expensive hotels. The balcony is spacious where you can dry up your swimming clothes. Overall satisfied!

The hotel is very centrally located, a little over 5 minutes to the main area of Patong. 8-9 minutes to Jung Ceylon. Staff were very friendly and helpful, the hotel is new and kept clean. Internet speed was very good. 50THB laundry service just outside the door. When you consider the price there is little to fault this hotel. The following \"bad\" points were minor and didn't spoil my stay there.

The pool area seems to be an after-thought and not well looked after. The shower didn't work and I think I was the only person that used the area in the 4 nights I was there.
Food: I only ate there twice and regretted it each time.
English Breakfast.... no butter (or margarine) on the toast. Coffee machine was broken.
Okay.... can't go wrong with Thai then? I went for Chicken congee - and spent the meal spitting out bone. I am quite adventurous when it comes to food and this isn't my first time in Thailand - but it is the first time I thought ...eww... this is nasty.

When we enter the hotel we fallen in love because of the hotel concept , staffs all friendly and always giving efficient service . If they able address guest name .. wow will be awesome .Because some staff able remember what we like and dislike . They did the best , Kokotel is my main choice for my next trip to krabi , Bangkok and Chiang Mai . Keep it up is really really is like it so much and looking forward retail shop to sell all kokotel products .

Kokotel idea is nice, delivery is lacking

We checked in here with several other families. We booked a \" koko party room\"

Good: the idea and theme are cute. the rooms are big and spacious. There was plenty of space foe my family of 5. The staff is trying to be accommodating and friendly.
The location is across the street from a night market, small shops and the beach.our kids loved the slide going down into the lobby.

Bad: this is not a new hotel but rather an old building they refurbished. There are still signs of the buildings old age as they didn't do a complete remodel. Our room had cracked tile. The door frame and wall in the bathroom looked old and cracking, etc. The bathroom is open concept with only a half wall separating the shower from toilet and sink. This would be ok except whoever designed and built it did not put in a big enough slope. So even if you took a quick shower- the entire bathroom would flood including around the toilet. The restaurant seems lacking and a bit expensive. We did not eat there once as there are better and cheaper options nearby. Our toilet clogged on our last day.

If they fix the drain problem and truly remodel this would be a great budget hotel. It was truly just ok.

We were greated by very friendly staff.
The rooms were available.
Very clean and comfortable. Although it's situated on a busy street, the rooms were well insulated.
The beach is just a stone's throw away.
So many many restaurants and hawker stalls around.
Highly recommended if you are not looking for luxury but a decent place with necessary equipment and nearby the beach.
Will definitely stay in Kokotel again

Thank you to the amazing team at the Kokotel who made our family holiday so easy. Nothing was ever a problem or too much trouble. The reception staff were super friendly and welcoming, and always went the 'extra mile' to make sure we had the best holiday experience.
The location is perfect, 100m to the beach and easy walking distance to everything. The shower was hot, the beds were very comfortable and rooms were spacious and well appointed. With a nice little rooftop pool which was always clean. Overall, great value for money, we would definitely stay here again.

Our 4 night stay was pleasant. Quad room are pretty big and same as website photos. Staff were all friendly and helpful. Highlights are comfy beds, fluffy towels and fast wifi. Location are also great, minutes away from beach. Only one downside was bad smell when we check in. We had to turn on aircon on high. Next day was ok. As new Kokotel was refurbished from an old hotel, There are still some areas need to improve eg. phone, more chairs, shower screen... Overall excellent value for money as I had opening special rate.

Location of this hotel is convenient , 2 minutes walk to the beach, opposite food stall , money changer and tour agent around this hotel. My bad experience stayed in this hotel when we checked out and the front counter claimed our room towels are missing and so we have to pay bhat 1250 even though we never take any of those towel. So, for me this is my first time to face this bad experience which embarrassed in my life.

Nice hotel close to the beach

We stayed in Koko Family room with 3 beds for 3 nights. We were provided with welcome drinks when we arrived. The room was very clean, had comfortable beds and the staff were very courteous and helpful. It's just 2 min walk to Patong Beach from the hotel. There are also many places to shop for souvenirs and many eateries and Indian restaurants nearby.
There's also a travel agent right outside the entrance who can guide you and book day tours for you at reasonable prices.
Since the hotel was opened recently, some things are still not in place. Our room's water heater was not working and AC was leaking. The staff was very helpful and offered us a different room. So one advice is to please check everything before check-in.
Apart from this, everything else was good.

Hotel was new, so actually all the equipment is ok in new condition.
The only thing is, while we stay it can hear very noise from next room, including TV sound, laughing or something else to wake me up at the early morning everyday. So means the room's sound insulation is not very good at all.
The staffs are very nice,polite and helpful.
Hotel lobby and room was clean.
Hotel location is near the beach, hotel opposite have a small local food market till mid-night.
Nearly with 7-11, family mart within 1 mins.
Next road to Bangla road, walk about 10 mins.
Laundry service not provided by hotel, but there have an tour counter at the hotel door, it can be provide laundry service with a cheap price.
Hotel locate between 3-4 massage shop, maybe it's not easy for a taxi driver to find it at night.

Family friendly hotel located 1 minute walk from Patong Beach.

Hotel have an old and new section, try to get a room in new section as it has elevator/pool on rooftop/clean rooms(no cockroaches)

Staff very friendly and flexible try to help out we were able to change room from old section to new section

Breakfast not very good, tasteless few options and some guest got sick from it. Also saw a cockroach run over breakfast floor

Highly recommended if you get a room in new section
