The property has excellent location on the beach and in the middle of the Patong market, best of both worlds, the room allocated was excellent. However I feel the front desk staff need to be more hospitable in nature and behavior towards the guest. Every request like early chek in, request for room cleaning etc is met with some if's and but's by the front desk staff rather than a \"certainly will get it done\" attitude. They feel more like bureaucrats sitting on desks when one approaches with some request. An example I requested room cleaning the staff said \"it will be in a queue as they are cleaning other rooms\" There is a way to convey the same message in a different way to the guest. HOSPITALITY !!!

The hotel itself is very nice — great location, clean rooms, and overall a pleasant property. The facilities and general atmosphere meet expectations, and the staff were polite.

However, our stay was significantly affected by the room allocation. We were placed in a room at the edge of the hotel directly next to a beach club. Every night there was loud music until around midnight, and on some nights even fireworks as late as 1am. Sleep quality was very poor as a result.

The hotel provided ear plugs, but this is not what you expect from a premium hotel experience. Noise management or proper room allocation should be handled proactively rather than asking guests to adapt to excessive noise.

I would recommend the hotel overall, but strongly advise requesting a quiet room away from the beach club area.

Impiana is a nice hotel, it is not chrome, marble and glass it is a more traditional Thai decor. No high rise here just single floor blocks.
I can only comment on our room which was 406 an Impiana Suite, basically 2 standard rooms combined so with a lounge are and two bathrooms, it was nicely decorated but a little worn at the edges. We did have a plumbing issue but this was soon sorted.
Be aware that photos and video shown on hotels website are old and whilst the resort still looks like those images it is not quite as crisp as it used to be.
The hotel is one of only 3 directly on the beach and near to the heart of the resort so walkable to Bangla Rd, but the rooms near the beach do not hear traffic noise. However there is a large noisy beach club right next door and the rooms to the right of the pool area really hear the music, other rooms just get the base best.
So glad we didn’t book the Royal Villa as noise there would be a nightmare.
The main asset for the hotel is the staff , friendly and efficient, special mention to Kae and Mee on reception, Polly at breakfast, Yot at the pool bar, and Ohlea the pool attendant who really looked after our needs.
Pool Loungers are limited, luckily with our suite we got a private Pati with loungers.
Impiana is a great hotel for its price bracket and we would stay again.
Thanks to the team, we miss you already

Even though the resort is a stone's throw from Bangla Road you would never know. With the best of both worlds with a pool and the beach at your toes, the location was perfect. Fun on your doorstep one way, with the beach the other.
The service was wonderful and housekeeping exceptional.

The front desk manager was excellent! He was very helpful and kind, knowledgeable and helpful! Breakfast bar was also decent, i tried a variation of foods, lots of dinner or lunch type of with curry and rice, you can make waffles and there are pastries or cereals. Tea and coffee were served for us after we were seated and you can also get scrambled eggs. If you are to leave earlier than the 7am open time you can request a take out breakfast, we received a croissant, mini muffins, a boiled egg, juice and milk . It is a lovely area with pools and access to the beach that are not bad for people with lower mobility. The only down side was the noise, which i dont think the resort can fo very much about we received ear plugs in our room for this noise, but i will admit it is extremely LOUD!!!!!! think hiding away from the new years eve party in the bathroom. Because of this im not sure I would stay again. But i do believe if you are a party person and live for that night life it would be the perfect spot for you, but be ready for that party to go on every single night!

Lovely resort by day, tranquil and by the beach. At night its a different story. The resort is located next door to a day/night club that plays loud clubbing music 12 noon to midnight. Not ideal if your room is located on the right hand side of the property as you face the beach.

We booied the premium suite room which was a bit tired and dated compared to the one our travek companions were allocated.

Breakfast starts at 7 which is too late if you have tours planned. A half hour earlier would make alot of difference.

Otherwise, great hotel, lovely staff and pleasant stay.

Was very disappointed. I stayed in over 10 hotels in Phuket but this one is definitely one of the worst. The pictures and reviews were good so I booked it without any concern. But that place is filthy! It is not only not cleaned well in general but the bedding smells like sweat, mattresses and pillows smell grows too. But the worst thing is rats! They have soooo many rats outside on the patio especially at night. They are not afraid of human and almost run into your room.
Plus they allow “night guests” so on the top of all you might hear a bunch of noises from the next room. Oh yeah and also you'll hear a night club music from next door. No jokes, Definitely the worst stay of all times and the policy is strictly non-refundable.

The pics make the property and the pool look much better than it is reality. At night there are many large rats running on the path and around the bushes.

The rooms are clean however a bit dated with leaking taps and showers, fridge door was broken so drinks would fall as soon as you opened it.

The staff are very friendly and helpful, they go out their way for you customer service was excellent , proximity to the beach is very good you can access it straight from the hotel.

This was my second stay at impiana, 10 years apart. Pros: location, beach access, bungalow style rooms. Cons: a bit dated, bathroom privacy (clear glass wall to toilet) and sonewhat noisy neighbours (room was adjoining [sealed] a bit disappointed since paid extra for a deluxe room. (The only difference is the room size) . Overall, lovely and amazing staff, good breakfast included, would stay agaik.

A Peaceful Oasis in the Heart of Patong

Impiana is the perfect escape from the chaos of busy Patong. The moment you step into the lobby, serenity takes over — from the calming decor and soothing music to the beautiful view of the gardens and ocean through the lobby.

We stayed in a Superior Oceanview room, and it was well worth it. The pool was just outside our door, with the beach and ocean just beyond — a rare and priceless find in Patong. Falling asleep to the sound of the waves each night was pure bliss.

The location is ideal: walking distance to all the hotspots, yet quiet and peaceful. Despite being near Bangla Road, we heard no street or party noise.

The Beach Bar was a highlight, especially during happy hour with poolside service. The buffet breakfast was plentiful and set us up perfectly for the day.

We did experience a few issues with our air conditioner, but the staff responded quickly each time. The delay in repairs was due to the contractor, not the hotel, and it was resolved.

Overall, a fantastic stay — peaceful, convenient, and memorable. We’ll definitely return.

Picked up at airport without an issue.
Transfer to resort took just over an hour.
Check in was smooth , service was friendly.

Issue with safe was swiftly dealt with.
Only one set of room keys which was an inconvenience whilst sharing room
With my daughter.

Tv had no channels other than hotel info.
One of out 2 beds had no fewer than 6 stains on it. Had to request a fresh set of linen. Other bed was fine.

Bathroom had black mould in.
Dust and cobwebs in room.

Pool steps broken and wobbly. Tiles leading into pool also loose. Pool was well
Maintained and cleaned.

Is a large new hotel next door , Bara Cuda. Plays house music loud 12-12 or 12-12.30.
Can hear it from inside the room.

No fault of the hotel but there was a suspected bomb on the beach literally meters from room and the beach and the beach , pool closed whilst a controlled detonation tool place.

Check out and transfer back to the airport was smooth.

Good luck Impiana Resort…!

We had booked this beach side hotel because of it being so close to the beach. The very friendly and service oriented staff and the location exactly next to the beach is the only thing that is worth recommending. When we arrived (April 20th, 2025) we quickly learned that only a few months before a beach club (Barra Cuda) had opened next door. The noise was on from 12 to 12. Furthermore we got a room just next to the busy street and nigh life, so it was almost noisy 24/7. We could enjoy the quite nice break fast buffet and view if the ocean from 7 to noon.
Besides that the rooms are quite old and worn down like the furniture in the reception needs a change. The tiles in the pool are to a large extent loose and we are not sure that the pool was checked every day (at least we had to ask them to update the sign showing the date it was last done).
Food and drinks are OK, but we will not be coming back despite the quite reasonable price for the rooms. We spoke to other couples who had been there 3-4 times before and they said this was their last time.
So sorry for Impiana Resort and their friendly staff…

I recently stayed at here and was disappointed with several aspects of my experience. While I understand that early check-in wasn’t available, it was frustrating that my room wasn’t ready until 4:30 PM, well after the standard 3:00 PM check-in time.

Additionally, there were no spa services available during my stay, which was a key amenity I had expected based on their website.

Finally, the noise from outside was unbearable. I could hear constant commotion, which made it hard to relax. The entire experience was unsettling and didn’t meet my expectations for a peaceful stay.

This is a beautiful hotel very close to Bangla Road and millions of shops. Patong beach is in the back of the hotel and very close convenient. We stayed 5 days and check in was amazing, the manager upgraded us to deluxe so the room was a tad bigger. However once inside it didn’t look like the photos. There was no brown ceiling for us and my only complaint is the bathroom. The shower curtain was brown at the bottom and the tub overall could use an upgrade. It was difficult navigating how to turn the water on and off. You can’t use the sink and shower at the same time and in an attempt to avoid touching the shower curtain the water splashed everywhere. Besides that, breakfast was a solid 7, there weren’t many option. Also hotels.com list this property as “airport transportation” they only provide at a cost which I suggested they update on the site. The cost was 1000 thb. The hotel is pretty quiet and very peaceful however you can hear the bar next door pretty loudly. There also is no separation between adult and kids pool as stated. However the hotel was great for what we were looking for. We left our luggage in our room as we packed light and visited phi phi island for 2 days. Everything was safe upon our return.

The access to the beach was my most favorite part about this hotel! It was prime location, if you are into the party/downtown scene, and the room we stayed in was lovely. (And air-conditioned!) The hotel was in a good location and especially liked being right on the beach. The room was spacious and large bathroom but had issues with the shower (just very bad design and water went all over the floor). The buffet breakfast was good and had a great variety. 2 for 1 cocktails for happy hour was awesome. The pool was good and so nice sitting looking out at the beach and watching the beautiful sunsets. Although we had an ocean view room, you couldn’t see it due to an ugly green fence they had up blocking the view (don't know why it needed to be there??). The price was a little high but location made it worth it. Plenty of restaurants and food trucks to choose from but Patong Road at night very full on and sellers are too in your face trying to sell everything from food, drinks, massage, ping pong shows, shopping. So the hotel was perfect to go back to. I would recommend this hotel.

If R&R is what you seek, look elsewhere

I was really looking forward to this stay. As I was informed when I got to the hotel, I’m staying in one of the rooms overlooking the pool and the ocean. I’m all for a good time but I have called and notified the front desk informing them that there were some people in the pool making a lot of noises and screaming and everything. For the nights I stayed there, I was in fact, disturbed to say nonetheless. I had to wake up early on both morning but nothing was done. I was told that this is the Phuket way. I was clam to inform them that I did pay for a hotel not a club.ill give it a rest. The location is great. May need some updates in regards to the outlets in the room. I had to position my plugs a certain way to make things work.

This hotel is not anything like the pictures. First, the location is Patong Beach, basically in the most hectic & dirty areas of all Phuket. It smells of sewage & it’s very hard to get taxis to pick up / drop off because the street backs up for a mile and almost no cars can get through. Picture Mardi Gras & having your hotel room door right there. Second, the lobby and the bungalows are all open air, so there’s nothing to stop all the drunk people roaming the street to come into the property. As a solo female traveler, I would not recommend. Next, the rooms are run down. The shower head was hanging off the ceiling, there was mold & very obvious water damage all over the bathroom. Lastly, there’s only about 25 pool chairs that are always taken for the entire day, but only a few have people actually sitting in them, they just leave their stuff there at 7am & keep it occupied. I spent 5 days there and never got a chair once.

The hotel is in desperate need of a complete renovation. The rooms are very dated and dirty. Mosquitoes everywhere and the bathrooms smell awful. The Impiana group obviously have no problem charging guests full rates for extremely poor quality accommodation. The overall hotel grounds are well kept (cheaper to maintain than the rooms). The location is the only plus point of this property, however it does not make up for the utterly dreadful condition of the rooms. Don’t be seduced by the 15 year old images. Take your money elsewhere….

From GM Gerard and his friendly and helpful tips to security Surayo, to Yot the drink master, to the super friendly front desk workers, to the omelet maker and the coffee girl and so many other respectful and fun staff - we cannot thank you enough for your kindness, smiles and warm welcome to your lovely resort!
How fabulous that the resort is right on Patong Beach. We were surprised by how quiet it was considering the busy road behind it. There is everything one needs within walking distance. And that beach and those sunsets are breathtaking! Impiana has lovely loungers and umbrellas by the pool. We are beach people so walked a bit down the beach to a huge area that rents lounge chairs and umbrellas for only a few bucks for the day. I think Impiana had some gravity chairs and the trees offer nice shade options in front of their property on the beach but we preferred the other chairs down the beach. Not a big deal - we appreciated that it wasn’t so chaotic in front of Impiana. :)

Overall the hotel was in a great location with a great staff. The room needs a deep cleaning. My room had many mosquitoes inside and the bathroom had black mold. It’s very close to bangala road which made it convenient for partying. I also booked it because online it said there was a spa but when I arrived the spa was no longer open.

Best spot. Right on the beach. Right near all the food and shopping you could ever want. Their security guards are great and don’t let anyone in if they don’t have a room key so felt very safe.
Would definitely return and suggest to everyone.

One of the few hotels on the beach in the Patong area. Excellent breakfast, plenty of variety. Many restaurants nearby, 2 shopping malls within 15 minute walk. Very nice room, would like to have had dedicated shower instead of bathtub/shower. I would definitely stay here again.

Considering 4* rating, room was very unclean, and tatty. Bathroom tiles were all covered in soap scum and water marks, cobwebs all over the place. Bedsheets we’re stained and ripped. All table and side surfaces were covered in a greasy film.

We found a dead cockroach in the room, and was hoping that housekeeping would remove the following day so that we didn’t have to touch it… they didn’t.

We lost all water pressure one night (which wasn’t great in the first place), so we couldn’t shower. Reception didn’t communicate at all on when it would be resolved.

When there was water pressure, the water out of the tap was a lovely brown colour.

I tried to use the laundry service… on the paperwork it says that items received before 10am would be returned the same day, on bringing a few T-shirts and underpants to reception at 8am, I was told that they wouldn’t be returned until after 4pm the following day, which was after we were checking out, so no good to me.

The reception staff said that they would speak to the manager about the issues when we raised them, and would have a route to a resolution for us. On checkout there was no resolution, and no issues had been communicated to the manager, so the reception are ok with lying to your face.

I tried to raise with hotels.com during the stay, but customer service not working via the app. I got stuck in a sign-in loop and couldn’t speak to anyone.
