This is an incredibly well designed and maintained property with great oceanfront views and enough room and privacy to allow a family with kids to share a room and still get sleep or be awake without getting in each others’ way. Room layout puts the bath and kitchenette between the bedroom and sleeper sofa area with view of the ocean, and it just really worked out well. Spotless lobby, exercise room and pool off the lobby not tucked in a creepy basement so great for female travelers. Breakfast is buffet style with something for everyone: pancakes, waffles, eggs, pastries and cereal with yogurt. Nespresso machine is a great touch and breakfast room off the spacious lobby also overlooks the boardwalk and ocean. Fantastic location in the heart of everything.

The resort itself was fantastic. The views, the pools, cleanliness, hospitality, was all wonderful. The beds on the other hand, a completely different story. The beds were beyond \"firm\" like sleeping on a rock perhaps, after the first night, my spouse and i resorted to sleeping on the sleeper sofa, not much better as it was not comfortable either but better than the bed itself

Room was dated, hotel looks beautiful from outside but shows signs of wear on inside. I thought this was a 4 star hotel but it is definitely at best 3 star. Check in is 4, we got there at 4:05 and room was not ready, finally got my keys at 4:55 which after arriving during travel is one of the worse things a hotel can do to you is not have the room ready at check in. Pool was not monitored at all by staff for rowdy and gross behavior, we ended up going down to different hotel to their pool that was actively monitored. we did not have hot water 1 day and I called and they said someone would be right up, i waited for 30 mins then left for the beach assuming someone would come while we were gone, they didnt. Got back called again someone came up right away and told us to turn all the hot water on in all the bathrooms and kitchen and after 5 mins we would have hot water because their system needs the extra to push to get the hot water up…it worked but seems crazy to have to do that. Anyway, room setup was great, 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms is perfect for my family and the room had a great view and with some money invested could be a wonderful room. But it needs a renovation, paint, mirror was hanging off wall, hairdryer in master didnt work, all the bathrooms have that fiberglass tub inserts for walls and tubs and shower valves that looks like they are from the 80’s. I would not stay here again.

The room was very nice but the floor must not have been clean because my baby’s feet were dirty after walking on them barefoot. But everything else was good, the view was ok for one night and the ocean could still be seen. I would stay there again.

A/C unit pan overflowed flooding entry door area not once but three times. Maintenance had to come in with shop vacs to get up the water. First time reported around. 10:00 PM maintenance showed up around 11:00. Second time maintenance was more responsive. Third time maintenance didn’t show up at all. I had to clean up the mess. In the process of cleaning up the water I discovered that the PVC piping was covered in black mold.
Can not recommend Anderson Ocean Resort. Front desk personal had an “I don’t care attitude. Pool up keep was marginal at best.

I wasn't notified that my 3bedroom was sold that i booked a week in advance i got notified when i arrived and made it very inconvenient for me and my family and we drove 3 1/2hrs so im very mad about that and the customer service started very rude and started to say take wat i give u and find somewhere else and get a refund for something i booked in advance very unprofessional

The room and entrance arrived with a heavy, musty odor and a living area carpet that was worn—a far cry from the fresh space shown in the online photos. Housekeeping was equally disappointing; the soap and lotion dispensers were empty from day one.

I recently stayed at Anderson Ocean Club & Spa and overall had a good experience, especially if you’re looking for a beachfront stay with great views.

The scenery is beautiful, with easy beach access and amazing ocean views right from the property. The room was clean and very spacious, which made the stay comfortable, especially for relaxing after a long day out. Many units also come with full kitchens, which is a big plus for longer stays.

However, one downside is that some rooms feel a bit outdated. While everything was functional, the decor and certain features could definitely use more modern upgrades. This seems to be a common concern, as some guests have also noted wear and tear and dated interiors.

Tips for future travelers:
   •   Try to request or book a recently updated room or condo if available
   •   Bring your own beach gear (chairs/umbrella) to avoid extra costs
   •   Great choice if you value location and space over luxury finishes

Overall: A solid beachfront resort with clean, spacious rooms and great views—but it would benefit from modernization to match 2026 expectations.

They could not get us checked on time. Tried 3 different rooms and they all were nasty. Carpet was dirty with molded stains, mold on ceiling, tub was extremely dirty. The amount I paid, definitely was not worth the roooms they tried to put my family in. 4th room we hesitated but stayed bc it was already 6:30 pm and checking was supposed to be at 4. Still disappointed and the toilet was stopped up (no fault of ours) when we got in the room (disgusting). I called front desk 4 times before they picked up and 3 times after before they would Bri f a plunger to the room, then they left it at the door where I had to unclog the previous persons that rented BS. It’s was not worth the $$$ and ruined our vacation basically. The manager was nonchalant she kept walking back to the office and didn’t want to deal with any issues. The 2-3 day of our stay there was no hot water. We stayed 5 days; however I wish I would have asked for a refund and went elsewhere but don’t want to face the issue of no vacancy that late in the evening especially with kids.

Avoid at all costs. This is a time share property and if you are looking for a stay and aren't a member you just get what ever random unit is available. Pictures online extremely deceiving because its up to the unit owners fir furniture etc. The unit we were assigned was filty and completely beaten up. Furniture broken,lighting broken and gross. Plenty of off strip places that are much nicer are available . We stayed 3 nights and every night woken up by large groups of drunken partiers.

Look , we stayed there 18 months ago and the ‘resort ‘ has regressed since our last stay . Not a good value any longer . And payed extra for an ocean front room just to listen to pile driving going on all day 6 days a week on a pier that they are building that no one mentioned

I would not stay in this room again. The TV didn't work. The drapes were sagging from the top, the beds were very creaky, loud and uncomfortable. The valet service that I paid extra for did not help us. There was hair in my sink when I arrived and the floor was very slick, making walking difficult. When I spoke to the supervisor she was defensive.

The location is incredible. The hotel, forgettable. Theres nothing wrong with the accommodations but the longer you look the more you find. The walls have visible scrapes on them that have been there a very obviously long time. The bathroom floors are gross in the grout. The TV isn’t a modern hotel TV. The patio is small and has cheap flimsy plastic furniture.

Overall… not great, not horrible but also super good value at *amount I paid* (Apparently you can’t say which is ludicrous) to be able to snag overnight at a beach hotel room. You won’t regret the reservation, but you’ll wish you paid a little more to go somewhere nicer.

Very nice view, but we did find evidence that the room had not been cleaned very well, there was money left under the dresser. Also the dishwasher was not installed properly. No room For you pantry items, also make sure you bring cookie sheets, pots and pans. If you need a knife bring it with you.

Several items were broken including the chandelier, tv, dishwasher, and a transition when coming into the room from tile to wood vinyl flooring.

Room was a mess, lot of mold, didn’t clean anything properly. The furniture was tore outside, busted really bad. Customer service was great when I got there, but later in my stay I was told if I was not a Hilton reward member i pretty much get what I pay for and they put you in private own rooms where it’s not kept up to date. Which I been through several third parties never got treated like a different person from others. I’ve was all in the top of the refrigerator freezer not in container. The bath tub stopper was broken. The coffee maker was covered in mold on the inside where you brew the coffee. The room was great size for my guest. Just a lot of things should have been taking care of before I arrived.

I stayed in an Ocean View One Bedroom King Suite and had a very good experience overall. Check‑in was quick, and the staff was friendly, professional, and consistent throughout my stay. They made me feel genuinely welcomed. There are convenient unloading spaces at the entrance, though I was surprised to wait for a luggage cart during the off‑season when it didn’t seem busy.

The suite itself was clean, spacious, and comfortable. The bedroom had plenty of room, good lighting, and a comfortable king bed. The bathroom was well‑lit with full‑size toiletries, great water pressure, and instant hot water — a standout feature. The living area included a dining table, couch, chair, and large TV with a DVD player. I also appreciated having an in‑room washer and dryer with detergent provided.

The kitchen had a full‑size fridge, range, dishwasher, coffee maker, and basic cookware. A few dishes were missing, and the microwave wasn’t working, but I reported that at checkout. Parking is in a covered garage across the street, which worked fine since unloading is available at the resort.

My 19th‑floor balcony had a great ocean view and was a relaxing place to unwind. I didn’t use the pools, gym, or restaurant, so I can’t comment on those areas.

Overall, the stay was quiet, comfortable, and enjoyable. Every staff member I passed greeted me, and despite a couple of minor issues, I would stay here again

The bed was most uncomfortable. Extreemly soft - I can usually sleep on anything, but this was bad. Little things like the coffee maker was there and had coffee, but no filters and no carafe. I was there three and the room was never neatened.
