We loved our stay here. We stayed for one night and very last minute, so we got lucky with this booking. The staff are all so lovely, have a lot of great tips for Positano and suggested the most fantastic restaurant for dinner. The best part about this hotel is the incredible views from the balcony. Just amazing! The rooms are big and spacious and we didn’t want to leave. Thanks again!

I loved everything about Il Moro Di Positano! The view when you get off the elevator is incredible!! Our room was large and comfortable, and our patio was huge with the most amazing view!! I would stay here again for sure! Our host Riccardo was so accommodating - he even opened the breakfast room early so we could eat before we left to catch the ferry! Thank you!!

Loved our stay here! The front desk was super helpful and so nice, and the room itself was gorgeous. The views from our balcony were so amazing! I also really enjoyed the complimentary breakfast buffet as they had coffee, fresh orange juice, pastries, eggs, fruit, and more. It’s about a 15 minute walk from the central part of Positano, but the walk isn’t too bad and there’s also a bus you can take which the front desk explained how to use. Overall I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend if you’re visiting Positano!

Off the beaten path so you will need to do a little more walking than required from other locations. This is nice because as you go lower in Positano the alleys are shoulder to shoulder with people. Staff was great and helpful with everything.

This place is a treasure. The view is spectacular. There is a large breakfast selection. The rooms are clean and very spacious. One suggestion I have is to not disregard the instructions to take the bus up the hill. We walked up the first time and regretted it.

We loved staying at Il Moro, very helpful staff and gorgeous views, and we had a beautiful terrace overlooking Positano. It took a little bit to walk up to our place, and we could have taken the bus, but they helped us book a porter service for our bags, and we had so much fun wandering our way up and taking in the incredible views as we got higher and higher. The bed was clean and very comfortable, and the host helped us learn the best ways to navigate the buses and the walking paths to fully enjoy our time in Positano. Also he made great recommendations for dining. Would definitely come back!

A small, quaint yet elegant hotel with amazing views of the coast. Their breakfast service is excellent with fresh and healthy meals as well as made to order coffee! The rooms are quite large, air-conditioned and clean with full sized bathrooms that are neatly arranged and their customer service is very friendly and easy to communicate with. The young gentleman at the front desk was very helpful and friendly although they do not have around the clock front desk staff so this was definitely worrisome if something were to come up past business hours all one could do was call the customer service line or communicate via WhatsApp chat, but they were very responsive and reliable. Will stay again!

Amazing view, good parking, far from main area
Located at the top of the mountain the view was incredible. The room was nice, clean and had an amazing balcony. While it was about a 10-20min walk away from the main area (depending on your fitness level) it was great overall. It offered breakfast, great service and parking (at an additional cost). Overall would recommend but wished it was closer to the main area.

It’s quite a challenging walk to town (many steps either on stairs or on a steep and windy road but fascinating. The hotel does have an elevators which makes it easy to check in and move luggage.

If I could rate this place a million stars I would. The view is the absolute best, the staff are some of the kindest, sweetest people, breakfast is fabulous with a great view. We felt so welcome at all times, I will only come here when visiting Positano. This place felt like a home away from home. Thank you for everything, can’t wait to return.

The hotel was clean and charming, the staff friendly, helpful, and accommodating. The hotel serves a good, simple breakfast with cappuccino starting at 8, and the manager will offer to come in early if you have a departure before then. The only caveat about this hotel is the location, high up in the hills, with nothing to speak of in walking distance save a \"mini mart\" that has meats and cheeses, beer, wine and the essentials. It is about a 15 minute walk down into town and to the main beach, easy going down but many steep steps that are not fun climbing up. Fortunately, there is a Positano 'Interno' bus that loops through the city every 30 minutes that goes trough the city center and stops near the hotel. If you are OK with this, this hotel is quite a value and recommended.

An overall excellent place. Very clean and quiet. Staff was very nice and friendly. We had a great balcony view from our room (see photo). Hotel is located a few minute walk from the stairs going down into the city center. Breakfast was great too. We would stay here again for sure.

The management of the hotel is excellent. The room had a great view of Positano and the Med, with a nice balcony. We were able to park our car at the property for a fair price. The Amalfi Coast was very busy for the end of season due to All Saints Day…a 4 day Italian holiday. I would highly recommend Il Moro Positano.

If I had one complaint it would be that you have to walk along the main road to get to the stairway down into town, but it is only a 5 minute walk so it’s not so bad.

My husband just stayed here for our honeymoon. I highly recommend staying here for anyone that is looking. The staff is very kind and extremely helpful. They showed us all the best ways to get around, provided recommendations, and were able to make reservations for us. The breakfast is the perfect amount to start your day. You do need to walk to get to the main beach area, but it really isn’t too bad. There is a shuttle back up from the beach that drops you right in front of the hotel, but we enjoyed walking back. We would definitely stay here again!

We absolutely loved Il Moro Di Positano! From the moment Ricardo greeted us collecting our luggage we felt welcomed. Palu was amazing. She served us the best coffees in Positano and always with a friendly smile- she was a pleasure.

When we woke up the first morning and saw the breakfast, we couldn't believe it. It was fantastic and the coffee came quickly to your table. There were so many choices of foods. The hotel is very quiet and the views from it are spectacular. The staff were all friendly and helpful. Overall a great place.

I loved this hotel! It was cute, clean and more spacious than a lot of European hotels. The breakfast was delicious and the view from patio was awesome. The best part was how friendly staff is. When we first arrived we were exhausted from traveling and he immediately got us some juice. When I was filling up my water bottle he went out of his way to get us ice. He also helped us with directions and getting on the bus.

Great hotel with excellent service! Location and views are awesome. Like with any hotel in Positano, there will be a lot of steps getting there! Take my suggestion and let the luggage couriers take your bags from the port. Then take the stairs up to the square for a bus or taxi to the hotel.

This hotel was newly updated, very clean and the staff was very helpful. It was a very uncomfortable stay but there was a 15 minute walk with many stairs down to the town center.

We were lucky to have the most beautiful room here. We stayed in room and it is spectacular with its own terrace. Paula and Riccardo were also graat, really helpful and welcoming from the moment we arrived. They provided us with our fsvourite breakfast of our trip, fresh and olenty of choice. The hotel is situated up a number of steps from the main square but is something you will get used to staying in this area, it only takes 10 mins to walk or the buses are frequent. Would ceetainly stay again!
