We stayed 6 nights and wish we could have stayed longer! Truly a five star property and level of service. Staff is consistently upbeat and very helpful. The perfect combination of friendliness and professionalism. They should be commended for this level of consistency across every hour of the day during our stay.
We had dinner two nights at their restaurant (Luna) with fantastic views and amazing food. We had originally planned to eat there just the night of our arrival from Capri but were so impressed with the food and service we revisited it later in the week. Breakfast is served at your choice of venue…room patio, poolside, inside or main patio. Great pool, jacuzzi, hot and cold plunge pools, anything you would want.
Bring your best walking shoes as there are a significant amount of steps throughout Positano and walking is often the fastest way to the beach or exploring town. Close to the best restaurants with spectacular views. A fantastic experience in a very special part of the world.

One of the best and most beautiful properties in Positano, our room was gorgeous and the views were incredible. The staff and services were the best. We were there for our honeymoon and got the biggest surprise from the hotel staff at our room, we had champagne, rose petals and a beautiful note.
We recommend this beautiful place and will definitely return.

What an incredible stay!! Very clean property, the staff couldn’t be more helpful and welcoming. They helped arrange car services, helped with all our luggage (which could be an issue with all the stairs in Positano), even got us a last minute taxi from dinner one night when ours fell through. I would stay here again, without a doubt. Breakfast was fantastic as were the cocktails by the pool. Thank you to all of the staff at Villa Magia for making our family vacation fun, relaxing, and memorable!!

The best hotel. A slice of heaven. The staff go over the top to make your stay enjoyable. Gianni and the other men who serve breakfast (just to name a few) were amazing. So welcoming and helpful. The views here are the best. Ive never had a better breakfast. Definitely high quality and plentiful options.

The property is luxurious and extremely accommodating. You receive a cell phone on check-in that functions as real-time concierge. Also, included breakfast that can be delivered to your room as well as included car service to the hotel. There are a number of stairs to get to the property (which is true throughout all of Positano), and so older/less mobile travelers be cautious when selecting hotels in this area generally.

My wife and I stayed here for two nights. We drove a car and the moment upon arrival until checkout, the staff went above and beyond to ensure our stay was amazing. The views from the hotel are stunning and the room was very clean and nice. The restaurant had some of the best food we ate in Italy. This hotel experience is way better than any five star hotel we have stayed at. We highly recommend this hotel if you want to maximize your experience in Positano.

Lovely property, great view and excellent service!! The location is great, away from the hustle and bustle of the tourists, nestled in the mountains. There are a lot of stairs to climb so comfortable shoes are highly recommended. The food by the main pool is great but we didn’t love the menu and food of their main restaurant. We loved this place overall and would recommend it to friends and family.

This is a relatively small property conducting itself like a big resort and they are actually able to do so. The property seemed like an old personal villa converted to a hotel so it gives you the charm of being in a mediterranean villa.. the ambiance of of their Luna Terrace was marvelous. They go above and beyond in customer service.. they give you a phone on check in and you have a WhatsApp connection to the concierge who takes care of all your needs. And they do.. super customized service.. I had experienced a similar concept of service applied in Los Cabos Ritz Carlton Zadun resort.. they called it Tosoani over there.. Villa Magia had similar level of personalized service.. Service even at midnight was prompt and most importantly with a smile.

One of the part of our stay we enjoyed the most was that they serve breakfast in your room if you wish.. and the presentation of the breakfast set up that they did in the balcony of our room was just beautiful.

Dinner- we tried on first day and it was great. The guy in charge of the restaurant was super nice and made great friends with my 5 year old son.

Overall a fantastic stay..

Villa Magia is amazing. I have never stayed at a hotel with better staff. Every single person made my family feel special and well cared for. From the luggage porters to room service to the front desk. Just incredible service. Our room was super unique and quite large with an outdoor dining table which had an amazing view. Plus they give you a phone for your stay to WhatsApp them for literally anything. I would not stay anywhere else in the area.

Villa Magia was something out of a beautiful story book, filled with scenic illustrations, and fantastic characters. Wonderful from start to finish… I am happy this story is a part time if my life story.

10 out of 10. Words and pictures cannot describe how amazing this hotel is. The view was spectacular from the balcony/terrace. The staff was above and beyond. Giada at the front desk was always smiling, cheerful, and eager to help. The service from breakfast/lunch/dinner to luggage handling was phenomenal (particular shoutout to Johnny). Luggage was carried up and down the Positano stairs by their staff. The room was spotless. Their restaurant, Luna, was one of the best meals I've had in Italy. The view from the restaurant is unbelievable. You get a cellphone to text the front desk 24 hours a day for questions or service. Free breakfast brought to our room was delicious. I see why their reviews are so high - Their rating is well deserved. I was so pleased with my stay. If I ever return, I will be going back to Villa Magia.

I must say that I fell in love with Positano on a recent visit and this property had a lot to do with it. The staff is amazing and they work very hard to make your stay enjoyable. The spa services are great and the rooms are super duper amazing and high tech. Its also located in a very good spot with road access that doesnt make traveling to the beach complicated. I would also recommend the \"beef ragu\" for dinner if dining at the local restaurant.

Loved this place and the staff! Really our favorite hotel during our stay in Italy. The room #8 was an amazing suite with a large terrace and sea view, where they brought us the most incredible breakfast every morning. It is set down a few steps and there is no sign, sort of a hidden gem that is clearly run by a family that cares and loves hosting guests and making sure that they have the best possible experience. They went above and beyond in every way! And even though Positano itself can be loud with the traffic, this place is very quiet.

Stayed for 2 nights. Read glowing reviews online and decided to book. On our honeymoon so we chose to stay at 5 star hotels thru out amalfi. First of all this is not a 5 star hotel as rated on trip advisor. It’s more like 4 star

Pros:
1) they provide a local cellphone upon arrival for any phone calls you need as well contacting them for room service or any questions. This was a great feature.
2) we had the orchid suite. It had an absolute stunning view from the large terrace w 2 lounge chairs and a jacuzzi w a small dining table.
3) breakfast was included and we were given the choice of having it delivered to our terrace. Anything we wanted was delivered at the time we asked for.
4) the staff was super friendly and helpful. They answered all our questions and arranged a private transport for us.

Cons:

1) they left the door to our suite ajar after they cleaned it. We only noticed this upon our return in the evening. Luckily nothing was stolen. Also housekeeping turned out a/c off and it was about 90 degrees in the room. We got an apology for this but nothing much else.

2) no grand lobby or entrance. Barely feels like a hotel when you arrive. Nothing about the grounds screams luxury.

3) room was average. Bed and sheets were uncomfortable. Shower was tiny.

4) 200 steps up or down to the main part of the city. Otherwise 25 Euro taxi.

5) we didn’t get any evening turn down service

Just not a 5 star hotel even tho we were led to believe it was
