The Covo dei Saraceni hotel is one of the best hotels I have stayed at. The rooms are very big for European standards with AC. The rooms and hotel are very clean. The staff is beyond friendly especially at the pool and at breakfast. The pool is gorgeous and you have the best views. The location is prime to all restaurants, shopping, the beach and boats. It’s a short walk from the parking garage but well worth it!

Location, 3 pools, views, food, and staff all excellent. The room and bathrooms were large enough for travel with 2 kids and the balcony was a treat to unwind in the evenings. Watching the fireworks and views of the beach and town are amazing.

Wonderful stay, couldn’t have asked for anything better. Pool area is gorgeous, we ended up spending most of our time lounging on the pool deck. Service was impeccable, every single employee went above and beyond to make it a fantastic stay. Room was a great size and beautiful - clean, comfortable bed, well air conditioned, gorgeous views. Only minor complaint is our room seemed especially loud at night and in the morning, some of it seemed like loud pipes but just general working hotel noise seemed very loud in the morning, banging and clanging of things, loud talking, etc. Rooms are not soundproofed the best which is expected with older buildings, but was still a bummer, we did not have the quiet peaceful mornings exactly. Our room was on floor 2, the furthest from the center so perhaps that was it, that on the edge we caught more noise from back rooms or higher floors. Overall it didn’t massively impact our stay, was a bit annoying but we’re still thrilled we stayed here and will definitely be returning. Location is excellent, short walk to everything and no uphill climb after the beach, you just walk back in the front door which is basically next to the beach.

Ferries come in and can cause some fumes...sisnt notice at all at the pool, but on our terrace ir was noticeable and coyld be a little hectic below with travelers. But overall we liked being able to see the action and not far from landing for our boat excursions.

Loved, loved, loved it here!! We can’t say enough about this amazing property! From the staff, to the other guests, to the location, it was absolutely perfect!

Our first time in Positano and Covo de Saraceni felt like home. We’d wake up early, tak a walk for cappuccino , a little shopping and then spend the afternoon at the pool. Brunella and Rosario were amazing, we miss them already!

This is right at the dock for all boat trips, so if you’re doing any day trips it’s perfect. We didn’t hear any noise from our room or the pool, which we thought we would.

I highly recommend staying here. We will definitely be back.

Stunning in Positano!

We had a wonderful experience at Covo. They were professional & polite…went above & beyond to make our holiday special. They even surprised our daughter at breakfast with a birthday cake…such a sweet thing to do. Loved the location also…steps from the ferry, close to shopping. Beautiful hotel in an amazing seaside town.

Lovely property, though a tad dated. It has an old world feel to it. Without exception the staff were kind, helpful and efficient. Breakfast was great. We are happy that we chose to be at the lower level of Positano and enjoyed the dining choices that were within easy walking range.
We were there the first week in October and the buzz of activity as the ferries and boats pulled into the pier made it busy and noisy; so peak season maybe overwhelming.

This hotel is literally worth 50 dollars a night not 2300 a night! The customer service is horrible, they don’t have a coffee machine, no iron, or water! It’s very outdated! The breakfast has a small menu, it’s very outdated! - I regret spending a penny here! They don’t even care about their guests and they don’t care for the high price guests are paying to enjoy their stay! They over charge you for the luggage pickup and drop off!

Great property and right next to the beach and ferry dock area. Convenient to shopping and restaurants. But a serious hike up the hill if you made reservations too far up. Be aware. Parking is at Gennaro Garage and space is limited there and all over Positano, so we spent the money on a taxi from Napoli and it was worth it. Had no reason to have a car. The view from the balconies looking over the water and up the hillside is outstanding. The service by the hotel staff is as quick as we have ever received anywhere. Daily breakfast was top notch and with the same view. Great pool and bar area. Their business center room has the most ridiculously beautiful view of the bay and hills that I can’t imagine anyone getting any work done in there. Loved Covo dei Saraceni. :)

It was nice having the property near the port. But having construction done right outside our balcony was horrible. The management only cares about making the dollar. We needed to leave early due to a family emergency. We booked for 5 nights and left after 3. Management refused to allow that and would not refund last 2 nights. I now have to deal with my credit card company on it. No compassion whatsoever.

This is a beautiful hotel and we feel we found a gem. Our incredibly big room (junior suite) was very comfortable and overlooked the beach, which was a bustling hub of activity. The staff were helpful and very friendly. Highly recommend this hotel. Loved it.

The location of the hotel is right beside the port so we were able to just jump on ferry for quick day trips. We had an amazing stay at this hotel. We were in a basic room and it worked great for what we needed. The staff is extremely friendly and very helpful. The breakfast spread is awesome and the pool is amazing as well. My only negative thing to say is we got two massages and they charge you an arm and leg for them and they come to your room to do them. We had a very small room so they brought us to a bathroom upstairs and the lights couldn’t be turned off. So for 180 euros I wouldn’t say the massage was worth it at all. But they did their best. The location is excellent when wanting to be close to the beach but you will have to climb stairs to get to the hotel and to do anything else. The only downfall to the location and the basic rooms is you are right in the heart of it so it’s extremely noisy at night. There’s a club across the way and can hear the music, people outside yelling at all hours and they come to do some sort of bottle pickup & drop off seems like anytime from 2:00 am to 6:00 am and it’s super loud. Other than that we would definitely stay here again no doubt!

Maria in the breakfast room makes you feel at home . Rosario , of the waiting staff, is wonderful. The front desk staff is always attentive, even before arriving with responsive emails. We could not have asked for more.

Loved this hotel! Located ON THE BEACH! In the walking section of old Town. Staff, all of them, excellent. Especially Rosario in the bar, Alexandra Concierge, gino front desk mgr. Room spotless, large balcony w seating, comfortable beds. Located right at the ferry dock so we didn't have to haul luggage up a bazillion stairs to a taxi (hotel also has porters to do that. If you taxiing here, i Hightower recommend the baggage porter both ways!

Absolutely beautiful property, great breakfast and service. This would be a five star resort but getting to it is very challenging and I would not recommend it if you have a group with anyone that is not in good physical condition.

The alternative is to take an unsafe luggage cart and pay 10 euros every time you need to go anywhere from the hotel.

It was a good location on the beach and central to the core of Positano. What I didn't like was they were not very nice about our late arrival and it's very hard to find at midnight down many side walks and about 60 steep stairs with luggage and no help or guidance. They said it was to late. At the very least, some one should have met us and walked with us so we would have gone the correct way with the price that we paid.

Incredibly outdated and overpriced. Towels were hard and old, bathroom was gross, very noisy and congested, thin walls. We could literally hear everything, including the people in the next room having sex. Honestly, was not a fan of Positano in general, but if you're going to stay there, go up the hill and do not stay in this location. It is a total tourist trap and not worth the money.

The location of the hotel on the beach was exceptional. The room was spacious and luxurious. The gelato stand right outside the hotel was most appreciated , and the proximity to a lot of great restaurants was an added plus. Also it’s location gives you direct access to ferry service to Capri .
I highly recommend this hotel. Be aware that you will have to walk to it, as there is no road to drive to it, but there is a porter service for your luggage

The location and views are splendid. The room s are a bit tired but totally acceptable. Avoid rooms with adjoining room doors as the walls keep the rooms quiet but the thin doors make you feel like the conversations in the next room are in your room. The restaurant Covo is exceptional and the staff is superb. The best feature is the pool with spectacular views and a great staff and poolside restaurant. I believe this hotel has the best location of any hotels in Positano. It would be the only place I would want to stay there.

The rooftop bar and pool were wonderful. The staff was friendly and helpful. The restaurant wait staff was rude and inattentive, and we left before being served. The front desk arrange to have our bags delivered by a porter to the garage, sent them to the wrong garage where they were left unattended, and when we called several times to find out what happened to them, we were ignored.

Fantastic Hotel in Positano!

This hotel is amazing. We had a junior suite with sea views and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Their service is unbelievable. The concierge arranged for a private transfer by boat from Capri. Marco, the concierge, also arranged a private trip for 4 to Ravello as well as a driver to Rome after our stay. They could not be more accommodating and truly treat their guests with such kindness and hospitality.
The location is incredible. So many fun things to do right outside your door. The pool is gorgeous and you will truly enjoy the large hot tub. The breakfasts are delicious complete with an omelette station.
You will not regret booking this hotel.

Hotel right next to the Mediterranean Sea and close to all the restaurants and shopping plazas. The hotel is clean and daily FREE snacks provided to our room including a bottle of beer, water, juice, and Coca Cola. The hotel provides transportation Service from Naples to the hotel and luggages hauling (each bag is $8€) very much worth the $ there’s so much stairways.

The staff at this hotel really are the shining stars. Their attention to detail is unsurpassed. They know your name even prior to your arrival and are “expecting you” as if you have stayed with them before. The front desk staff was amazing- every single one of them, from the very start to check out. This was a trip for my honeymoon and they knew immediately with congrats and a complimentary bottle of champagne and strawberries and desert.
The room was gorgeous, well kept, yet has an incredible vintage feel. Our terrace was beautiful.
A special shout out has to go out to Marco, at concierge. Who helped make us some dinner reservations, but helped us schedule a last minute excursion to Ravello and Amalfi proper, with a very reputable and quality car service.
The food at the hotel was also another selling point. The brasserie pizza was by far the best in all of positano.

I would 100 percent return and I am looking forward to it

The entire staff was so good willing to help in every detail. I'm very thankful to all of them. My husband passed out in the terrace and they responded immediately to help us, even they arrange a good car to transfer us to our next spot in case we need to go to a hospital, but at the end of the ride was not necessarily. Absolutely beautiful

Our room was incredible. I booked a nicer suite but was completely blown away when the concierge took us up to show us around. I expected nice, but not THIS nice. We had an amazing view, huge balcony with private pool, our own garden with lemon trees, and a sauna in the bathroom. It will be hard for any hotel stay from here on out to measure up.

A gem right on the water, provides the perfect respite from the chaos of Positano. Watch the boats load and unload people at the pier from your balcony - all rooms have a 10/10 view of the beach and the water. Staff is friendly and professional, rooms are spacious and clean, and did I mention the location and view? Great spot for your Positano vacation.

Nice hotel, too expensive!!

Super beautiful hotel, bad spot. Next to the ferry with noise and gasoline smell. Beautiful pool. Good service but everything too much expensive.

If you want the best of the best stay at Covo. The location is perfect (breath taking views of Positano), the food delicious and the staff is amazing! I would definitely come back and I highly recommend!

Fantastic

We couldn't have asked for a better hotel while visiting Positano. The location is perfect. The staff were all super friendly and kind. We had a sea facing room with a breathtaking view. The rooms are cleaned twice a day and the buffet breakfast has a huge variety. The roof top pool has great views as well (was a little chilly to go in, but still nice to sit around the area). Would highly recommend this hotel.
