Positano is not for the weak of walking, if you can't or have large issues with walking this is not the place for you unless you have a Sherpa. That being said, Villa Yiara is fantastic, this was an anniversary trip for us so yes, we splurged and paid for the suite. The staff is so helpful. They have a list of restaurants to try and one of them even has a driver that will pick you up and return you to your hotel at no charge,, but tip the driver please. Our suite was fantastic and in the morning we had breakfast on the balcony over looking Positano to the water and shared our space with a local cat that just enjoyed the view with us until he moved on for the day. Do go eat at Da Vincenzo for lunch or dinner if you can get in. Say hello to Imara and Raul for us! Ciao! Ciao!

Truly the most incredible service. They gave recommendations for food right when we got there and on our last day when the ferry was canceled assisted with helping me find other transportation. Best breakfast of my life. We were celebrating my 30th birthday and they brought me a candle!! The shower was the shower of my dreams. I would recommend this place to anyone!

I loved our stay at villa Yiara ,we rent the apartment portion it was amazing with a beautiful balcony that has a stunning view .place was clean and stuff friendly .my only cons was the walking distance from the ferry landing wasn’t 10 minutes.it is at least 25 min walk on the main road up hill .certainly you can take the stairs ,it could be shorter but for us it was quiet a challenge with are suit case .Overall the place is amazing just be prepared to walk a lot and ideally try to arrange a transportation for ur first day with the bags .

The staff is amazing! They are incredibly helpful! Really enjoyed the evening they called for a shuttle to take us up higher to a wonderful restaurant, da Constantino! Also, we loved the private breakfast served each morning on our own balcony! It was so much food!!! The room is spacious and has plenty of personal touches like beautiful chandeliers and fresh flowers! Love this hotel and highly recommend it!

All rooms have a stunning sea view, large chandelier, nice air conditioning, and the beautiful, blooming flowers along with the sea view make Villa Yiara attractive! We loved being served a big, delicious breakfast on our balcony! It was probably one of our favorite mornings ever! This staff here is so kind, welcoming, and helpful, and they go above and beyond to make your stay as enjoyable as possible! Their attention to detail and hospitality are above reproach! Our stay here in Positano was nothing short of magical. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with unparalleled hospitality and that only continued throughout the stay. The service was outstanding and the breakfast was above and beyond. The room also exceeded our expectations in every way with the beautiful view, interior, and cleanliness. The location is prime as it’s walking distance from lots of restaurants & the city center. Whenever we come back to Italy we will definitely be staying here again. The staff at Villa Viara went above and beyond during our 4 night stay in Positano. They are a text away at any time and responded immediately to any questions we had. The property is lovely and the views are unbelievable. Our breakfast, delivered at our desired time, was not just a great beginning to our day but also delicious and plentiful!! It was nice being a short walk away from multiple restaurants yet also quiet and peaceful at night. We had no trouble sleeping. Their restaurant suggestions proved top notch and delicious, especially La Tagliata! Eat here!

Villa Yiara far exceeded our expectations!

Villa Yiara is spectacular! It is a little slice of heaven in Positano. My wife and I spent 5 nights at Villa Yiara in their King Terrace Suite with Sea View while on our 31st anniversary trip through the Amalfi Coast. The room was amazing…beautifully decorated, impeccably clean, with every amenity you could possibly imagine including a very large terrace with a queen size sun bed and a stunning view of the Mediterranean. We thoroughly enjoyed every minute of our stay. What sets Villa Yiara apart from all the other similar 5 star top hotels we have stayed in is undoubtedly the wonderful owner of Villa Yiara, Imara, and her exemplary, dedicated staff who are so kind and 100% committed to providing exceptional service to every guest. We would like to specifically commend Maria who cleaned our room every day with the utmost care and impeccable hygiene and who made us the most delicious breakfasts every morning and delivered them to our room for us to enjoy on our terrace or in our living room if it was too chilly outside. She told us she did everything for us with great love because she loved to see her guests happy and we truly felt it! Villa Yiara is our happy place. We recommend it most highly…we promise you will not be disappointed!

We absolutely loved our stay here. The hotel is situated relatively high up in the mountain with breathtaking views of the sea and other homes/businesses that are built into the side of the mountain. Office staff was attentive, spoke English. Once you check in the staff gives you a QR code for WhatsApp to initiate texting communication so make sure you download it if you don’t have it already. I found it easier to text them for minor things and they were they provided timely responses. It’s an older property but so is pretty much everything else at positano. You just need to reset your expectations if you generally stay at bigger newer and modern hotels. One thing I didn’t like so much was the lack of insulation. The doors and walls are kind of thin and you can hear what’s going on in the hallways. The TV has capability to cast your phones Netflix or YouTube. Overall the room is classy, well lit, and has a positive energy to it. The in room breakfast was absolutely amazing, on point, and excellent quality with many foods to choose from. I love this place and wouldn’t have any reservation recommending it. I did not use it but they also offer taxi service to NAP international or central station.

Everything was PERFECT! Spent three nights here with my husband and we felt like king and queen. We removed all the flowers and left the doors open but the overpowering scent didn't clear until morning. It kind of ruined what would have otherwise been a fantastic stay.

This was a real find in Positano: rooms are bigger and better than at Le Siranuse, breakfast was excellent, service was excellent, complimentary parking (if you drive a really small car) or paid secure parking just down the street. Very convenient. It's not in the "hottest spot" in Positano but the town is so small is small that everything is walkable...12-15 minute walk to the beach, plenty of restaurant options along the way. My fiance and I spent 3 magical days there and can say nothing but good things!

We were disappointed in our stay. The apartment smelled strongly of urine, despite efforts to mask it with a strong air freshener. The bed, which frame lies on the floor, is extremely hard. I received no directions for check out. When I contacted the owner 15 min. before the office opened, I was yelled at and told I should have told her the day before and that it was "stupid" of me. What? Totally bizarre and for this price, there are many better options.

This 3 star villa was unbelievable. Our room was amazing with a view to match. It was our wedding anniversary and the extra details of petals and small bottle of bubbles was a beautiful touch. Yes there are many stairs! BUT as the hotel will inform you! Don’t rely on google maps! That takes you the steep route! It’s a 20 minute road option. There are porters to take your luggage from the port and this town is absolutely beautiful. Positano is very expensive, because of the view/area. So to find a three star in our budget offering 5 star service is amazing! Thank you - we definitely recommend!

My husband and I were so amazed by the beautiful room! We stayed in the romantic double room, pleasantly surprised by a nicely sized king bed. We were here on our honeymoon and were also surprised with flower petals and prosecco in our room. The staff was so friendly. Imara is a great host. The double room for two people actually has a king bed in it with plenty of room for two to sleep. Having been all over Europe I see double room and assume double beds. These are great rooms and the breakfast included is massive!!!

Villa Yiara is such a beautiful place. From the moment you arrive until you leave, you are looked after by the staff and they will make sure everything is taken care of so you don't have to lift a finger. The team on reception go out of their way to help you book restaurants and ferries and find anything you need. They even organised a taxi to and from the Villa so we could get in and out of Positano with ease.
Our room was amazing. We walked in and couldn't believe how beautiful it was. The view is breath taking and will make you want to stand on your balcony all day. Breakfast is served in your room or on the balcony and you are spoilt for choice with the food that is served to you. I would recommend Villa Yiara to anyone and if we go back to Positano I will definitely rebook.

Villa Yiara was filled with kindness and a warm atmosphere from the moment we checked in! We had a lovely room with wonderful sea views, even in our standard accommodation! The location is a bit farther from Positano's center, though we found this a benefit since we had more quiet and could still easily reach the beach in 10 minutes.

Service was wonderful - the staff were able to help arrange a porter to get our luggage down to port within an hour, just in time for our ferry! We would gladly come again.

This is one of my favorite hotels of all time. It seems like a well kept secret and is quiet and beautiful. It is high up on Positano so be prepared for many flights of stairs to and from the beach. There’s a reason why this villa has such high ratings after hundreds of reviews. The location is close to just about everything in Positano. The room was impeccably clean with a terrace that was large enough to have a lounging bed. The weather was so nice I slept out there one night. And the owner was born and raised in the Villa so knows every street, alley,stairwell,restaurant etc. She is invaluable and made our stay absolutely incredible. She’s your one resource for finding everything you need during your trip to Revelo Amalfi and Positano. She eve helped arrange shuttle taxis etc. She’s the best. As everyone says the breakfast was amazing. It’s almost too much food but everything is great. The villa is close to a multitude of casual or even fine dining. Shopping is may be a 10 minute walk. Be aware that the maps apps do not do well because of the hilly terrain. The maps from Apple sent us to wrong locations couple of times because it just doesn’t understand the elevation changes. Imara the owner Will tell you exactly how to get to everything. Can’t say enough about the Villa and Imara. There is no restaurant on site but you can find anything you need within a short walking distance. I would not recommend renting a car as there’s one winding road that’s very narrow and there’s a ton of people and scooters. Plus there is absolutely zero parking. Wherever you want to go you’ll end up parking far away anyways. Taxis can get expensive but that was the easiest for us. 5 stars

What an incredible stay. Such kind women running a beautiful location. View is incredible, room was stunning. When they cleaned the room they also tidied our belongings which was very special. Breakfast was incredible and more than enough to fill us. Could not recommend more.

Most beautiful hotel in the most beautiful town. Felt so luxourious. Had the most amazing breakfast on our terrace overlooking the ocean. extremely clean and comfortable. Staff was excellent. Provided us a beach bag and beach towels and also reserved us beach chairs on a private beach. Met everyone of our needs and provided outstanding recommendations. Best hotel of our 10 day Italy tour.

Incredible view

This villa is absolutely incredible. We stayed in room 5 with the terrace and bathtub. We spent all day on the terrace and did not leave the hotel. The view was incredible. I cannot recommend this room enough. It is absolutely stunning. The breakfast was huge as well. It is worth the money!

Cannot highly recommend it enough. On the day I arrive, the room, location and weather were all perfect. The staff where helpful and friendly, and the room, well was perfect, the outside deck was a amazing experience especially with the outdoor jacuzzi bath and shower. The car parking was excellent and very secure. I hope to come back soon. I hope you enjoy your day.

We absolutely loved our stay at Villa Yiara. The hotel was super beautiful and well-decorated with friendly and helpful staff. The views were spectacular and breath-taking, and it was especially wonderful having delicious breakfast on the balcony provided by the hotel. I highly recommend this place and would love to come back if we are in the area again.

We made our way into positano and unfortunately made it in later then intended. Imara was so sweet to wait up and greet us. The villa was stunning and she was ready with some late night dinner suggestions as soon as we got settled. the next day , we were welcomed with a wonderful breakfast by the incredible staff. What a wonderful start to our Italy vacation. Can’t wait to return.
