A kids friendly hotel. There are lots of activities for children. We are welcome by the team of friendly and smiling staffs from the resort. Billy helped to check us in and also shared the info of the resort to us. He even buggy us for around for a quick tour. We also went to nearby hawker for some local food and folowed by massage. Food was also good in the resort and we had a wonderful stay.

During our recent stay, we were particularly impressed by the staff, who were exceptionally friendly, attentive, and always ready to help. Their efforts made us feel welcome and special, and the service provided was warm and genuine. The facilities themselves, at least in the unit we occupied, were well-serviced and we were accommodated in many thoughtful ways by the team.
However, we did notice that the ceiling of our tent had accumulated mold, which should be addressed through proper cleaning and disinfection. Given the cost of the stay, we feel that such an issue does not reflect the level of condition that guests would reasonably expect.
Overall, while the staff and service were outstanding, attention to this maintenance matter would greatly enhance the quality and value of the experience.

Stayed 2 nights for a family vacation (2 adults, 1 2-years-old). Very close to the ferry terminal, with complimentary shuttle bus from/to the terminal and property. The property was great with a huge pool in front of the tents. Breakfast was good, especially the Masala Tea. Would have been even better if the menu changed a little more for the 2 days. The afternoon tea was very cost efficient, but not the highest quality type. The BBQ at tent was a good experience. Had the Indonesian menu, the shirmp was especially good. Inside the tent was spacious and clean.

Excellent Family Resort with tons of activities
My family had a blast at Natra Bintan. This resort is very family friendly, all the staff are very polite and helpful. We signed up the kids activities package with Treasure Bay, if you are hotel guest, you will enjoy 20% off discount which is a really good deal as you can utilize the voucher for 2 days span. We also love the food at the hotel, kids eat for free and there is a good variety of choices. I highly recommend this resort and will definitely revisit again in the near future.

God awful experience staying here. No one shud ever come here thinking it will be quiet and peaceful. They keep hosting so many noisy horrid events which either start at 5am or go on till late in night. This country has no sense of modulating noise or have a sense of hospitality. They think everyone enjoys a gawdy, noisy event . We will never ever be back ! And pls pls there are soo many better resorts here . I personally recommend Angsana and Banyan tree. Made a mistake booking here this time. Nightmarish experience.

Natra Bintan is a very nice resort with nice crystal lagoon. The staffs there were amazing. Rooms were cozy and aircon was very cooling as the weather outside was extremely hot. The walk to Treasure Bintan activity centre was quite a distance to walk. Overall we enjoyed our stay at Natra Bintan and we would definitely choose Natra Bintan again. It’s near to BBT ferry terminal.

As a family of 2 adults and a daughter aged 12 we stayed for 4 nights and had a fantastic time. The staff are so helpful considerate and always have a smile on their faces. The taxi driver Antonio was especially helpful with trips to different areas.
The food was delicious lots of choices and never a bad meal, the cost of the food was very reasonable for a hotel and the standard was consistently good.
You also have access to the lagoon with the water park which was great fun trying wakeboarding for the first time.

The staff are excellent. They are helpful, patient, kind, smiling alot, always ready to help and look out for our needs. The buggy service is top of all. My sister has a bad ankle and can't walk distance. The buggy will come round and take us all the time. Never at any time think we were troublesome. Really appreciate the service staff!

The hotel rooms are not the standard hotel types. We love the set up.
There is nothing nearby hotel so it’s a good place to get away from crowd. U can dine in the resort restaurant or another one at Ammon hoyle just next door.

We booked 2 rooms at Natra Bintan with pool view, very beautiful place and well maintained! There is only one restaurant in Natra Bintan, of course you can get a buggy to go to another resort for food but must say restaurant at Natra Bintan is the better one. Free transport to-and-fro ferry terminal makes the stay very convenient and stressless! No need to bring cash, everything can be charged to the room or credit card. We enjoyed the stay there.

Friendly helpful staff. Lagoon is beautiful to play in. Too bad you have to pay for all the activities. It was our first glamping experience and the room is really nice. BBQ right outside the tent is highly recommended. They do all the prep and clean up so you just do the fun BBQ and eating. The walls are super thin (cloth). There was a child in the next tent who cried for a long time in the middle of the night. If you happen to have such neighbours, be prepared to have disturbed sleep.

I visited Bintan more than once and it’s my first staying in Natra Bintan. It exceeded my expectation by a mile. Prompt service, going out of the way to look after my needs and best of all, the front staff are super friendly and made you feel at home.

The hospitality of all the staff are really impressive. Everyone seems happy there and never fails to say hi or ask if we have a good day even when we were just passing by. Only let down was the food. It would have been a nice if the breakfast and dining menu can be changed everyday to have some nee highlights.

Despite the website and hotel booking sites listing these ammenities there is NO Gym and only one restaurant is open and it’s the same as Singapore prices for restaurant food but not as good. But there are no other options. The spa is open. There are lots of activities you can pay extra for - and pay extra you will - but great for kids.

There is only one restaurant on site, but they have decent offering (but a bit over priced for what you get). The Breakfast buffet was fantastic though.

Queued for 30mins for my turn to check in and the check in process was 15mins! And worse was I queued for 40 mins for my turn to check out. Had asked for the manager while queuing twice but didn’t get to see him or her. Seriously, I won’t come again even your good hospitality provided by your staffs. Your awful management and system wasted the effort of your staffs!

Natra was excellent, and service was superb. Only a few things could be improved like: 1) having a shade constructed somewhere along the lagoon to protect from the harsh sun; 2) have taps near the hotel rooms to wash away sand on your feet before entering the room; and 3) nearby toilets around the lagoon area so you don’t need to walk back to the rooms or to the reception area just to relieve yourself. Otherwise, Natra is highly recommended and I’ll give it 2 thumbs up. 👍👍

December is monsoon season and half of the non air conditioned seatings for its only restaurant is always wet and not available for sitting, leading to guests always having to queue for tables. Monsoon season also means outdoor activities by Treasure Bay are most times closed. That's when you start to look for indoor activities and sadly there are almost none available.
Variety and standard of food in its only restaurant is also disappointing.
In summary, Natra is not worth the value it is pricing itself in and it will be extremely difficult to convince myself to go again. Do note practically all activities by Treasure Bay is chargeable. Hence the amount you paid for Natra is only for your stay alone. The same amount will get you a top 5 star Marriot hotel elsewhere.

Breakfast buffet isn't as nice plus the way food was prepared can be a lot nicer. The egg station output is not at par where the supposedly over easy scrambled eggs came out dry and overcooked, while the sunny side up egg had egg whites burned.
For lunch, I was expecting authentic local food items, but the Indonesian food I had was far bland compared to the Indonesian food I had elsewhere.
Breakfast buffet isn't as nice plus the way food was prepared can be a lot nicer. The egg station output is not at par where the supposedly over easy scrambled eggs came out dry and overcooked, while the sunny side up egg had egg whites burned.
For lunch, I was expecting authentic local food items, but the Indonesian food I had was far bland compared to the Indonesian food I had elsewhere.

This is a great place to chill and relax for families. Lagoon was well designed and maintained. However, the room was not thoroughly cleaned - I can spot strains of hairs on the sofa bed and floor was sticky.

Absolutely brilliant service and experience for us and our 4 year old son. All staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful for the whole visit, from check in, at restaurant, house keeping etc. Room was lovely, slight staining on carpet in front of AC unit from the dripping I think but bed was v comfortable and the outside toilet and shower area was done very well and nice to hear the local lizards and frogs! Beach area was very clean and water lovely. Would definitely return and can’t recommend this place highly enough.

It was an excellent stay. All of us, a family of 4, enjoyed our dexule glamping tent and the activities at Activity Centre. The crystal lagoon water was crystal clear. We enjoyed our swim and rental float. My girl like to slip and slide too. Not forgetting their mini ATV was their favourite as well. However, all activities come with additional cost. You must be willing to pay in order to enjoy. However, alternatively, you can also swim in the lagoon. As a hotel guest, you need not pay for the Treasure Bay entrance fees. The hotel will provde the guest with a wrist band to identify themselves.
The hotel also provide a buggy to travel around including to the Treasure Bay. But having a scooter is very convenient as sometimes we might need to wait for the buggy. You can rent the scooter in Activity Centre.
Just a note for those who have read the old reviews or blogs, due to the change of Management, the hotel will not provide complimentary scooter for dexule glamping tent. But I think that is good for safety reason, at least the rider will be 'trained' at the activity centre before riding.

It was our first time coming to Bintan. At first we were worried that we would be bored since it seemed like there wasn’t too much to do besides relaxing at our resort. However, we found plenty of things to do, and our stay at the canopy was incredible.
Every request or question that we had the staff were able to help us in a friendly way, even when we felt that we were bothering them quite a lot.
Agustan not only helped us book and get us transportation to go release baby turtles, but after mentioning that it was my girlfriend’s birthday, they came to our room and surprised us with a cake and singing. I have never felt so well accommodated in a hotel.
The breakfast buffet is also really good. Plenty of different items to eat. We always ate so much.

There are quite a number of actitivities to do and the pool is clean. BBQ at your tent is a good experience as well. Food on the resort is affordable and nice. It gets a little noisy when heavy rain hits. Staff is friendly.
