Terrible experience I was traveling back to Florida with my dog, husband and baby. I stood in room
324 roaches in the room and the carpet super dirty. I told the staff and nobody paid attention to me, I was told a manager would reach out to me and nobody ever did. Please do not stay here.

We went onto the balcony to enjoy the view, and we were locked out for about 20 minutes. The lock fell off the door, and my child was left inside. My daughter is 16 but it could have easily been a minor or toddler left in the room or worse locked outside on the balcony. We were unable to use the balcony after.

The property is clean and well-maintained. However, in the past three times I have stayed at this hotel, I have been double-charged for my room twice.

There seems to be an issue when using Expedia to pay for your stay, and then the hotel is taking your credit card for incidentals upon check-in. When they take your card they are then charging full price for your room after checkout.

I was able to fix it the first time it happened, but this past time when I was double charged I am having to go through a dispute process and hope I get the charge removed.

The staff at the hotel are insisting I was only charged once, but I have two receipts for the same stay with two separate charges on two separate cards. One charge was through the Expedia app using my PayPal account the other is through my Mastercard. Please be aware of this issue and check to make sure that others are not being double-billed.

Nice property. Modern. Only potential negative is that it is amongst quite a few hotels that have continental breakfasts. This one charges. I don't care much for the continentals but interesting when the brand doesn't fit the mold.

We checked in at approximately 9 PM on Saturday, December 13th and the woman who assisted me was very kind, courteous, and friendly. As we had our two Chihuahuas with us, we appreciated the room she gave us on the first floor. Unfortunately, I do not remember her name; however, we wanted to thank her for her hospitality!! We had a lovely overnight stay!

Unfortunately this hotel was a disappointment. Not only did the hotel staff not ask for ID, they said “I don’t care” when I tired to give them my ID at check-in. The rooms were disgusting - moldy carpet, cracked and holes in sink and tub, mosquitos, smelled awful. Standards even for pet friendly should be high especially for a Marriott. The staff perked up when they saw my dog, which gave me some peace of mind. The parking lot was well lit but there were some questionable loitering and activity going on in the parking lot late at night.

Nice hotel, would stay again!

Nice hotel! We needed a place to stay for one night on the drive from FL to NY. We have a small dog with us so it limits the choices. But they're pet friendly, reasonable rate, and close to lots of stuff. The hotel staff were great! The room was perfect and clean. The bathroom shower area could use an update and the shower fan cover was hanging out, which we told them about, but it was fine. Only disappointment was the pool wasnt working the night we were there. But we would definitely stay here again.

Wishing for cleaner stays!

While this was one of the cleaner hotels we have stayed in, theres more that could be done. I do not feel any hotel really concerns themselves with REAL clean rooms. Moldy shower curtain. Rings around the tub. Dirt on the floors. Mirrors not clean. \"Stuff\" all over the doors and walls in the bathroom. Really not a warm cozy feeling.

Overall great experience, minus one interaction

I had a great stay both times I made an overnight stay (Feb 3, and then Mar 2, 2025. The beds are super comfortable, all I needed to break the road trip to Florida), however, there was much more to this. the rooms are clean and have everything you might need. Fringe, coffee maker, clean towels of complete sets, toiletries, individually controlled thermostat, working desk. I truly enjoyed my trip and didn’t think twice to book it sharing on my way back to DC from Florida. The only minor complaint I have is that the woman on shift on the March 2nd night ( going back to DC) at their Bistro was usually impolite to me, as if she didn’t want to talk to me or not inclined to take my order. There was some clear attitude, which is unusual in the service industry, specially hospitality. I don’t want to make it a race issue, but I couldn’t figure out why the attitude, since I didn’t even get to talk to her much, I felt she was avoiding and reluctant to respond to me. I didn’t find it worthwhile to call it out, just politely told her that I changed my mind and will eat dinner outside. I drove to nearby Sandwich shop, picked up dinner and came back to my room. On the contrary, when traveling to Florida (Feb 3rd) morning, the woman at breakfast shift went above and beyond and was polite.

Otherwise, the hotel is great, the front desk staff was super friendly and helpful. There is a nice outdoor area to sit and let you dog run and sniff around.

I booked this hotel through Expedia the day prior. I checked in around 6:30pm, the staff was very friendly, I let them know that I do have pets with me, and asked for a 1st floor room. They accommodated me very well. First look at the room was very nice, recently updated, and exactly what I would expect at the price.

One \"con\" to note was while running the shower, the tub did not drain well, so the tub was full by the end of my shower.

Would absolutely stay here again though, they have a bistro in the lobby, I did not eat, but it looked very good.

This hotel is one of very few in Florence which has a balcony. This is the reason we chose to stay at Courtyard this time. It just happened to snow the first night there so it was kind of awesome standing on the balcony enjoying the snow. The room was nice although, not quite as sound proof as one might expect as we heard the people beside our room talking.

The first room, the bathroom was dirty. Front desk gave us a second room with no balcony and the phone didn’t work. Gina tried to make it right with a coupon to eat for free but, gave us the wrong time for breakfast, so we missed it. The third room had a patio with no outside furniture and there was no hot water for a shower.

I will never stay here again.

When we first checked in everything went well, when we got to the room it was oblivious there had been some sort of a mistake instead of a King bed with a sofa pull out it only a single king bed. So I went back down to see if the desk could help. The checked the reservation and said this is what Expedia reserved for me. So I checked my reservation. And sure enough it was a classic bait and switch, another desk clerk admitted they had ‘over sold’ these rooms, can Marriot spell FRAUD, we shall see !

Lots of room in the Lobby for gatherings.
But the drama and police showing up to control an off duty employee was ridiculous.
Folks hanging out making a huge mess and not cleaning up afterwards. And tons of smoking in the hotel - but cigarettes
Just overall nit great. Won’t stay here again. Room was okay but not super clean.

Single worst hotel experience of my life. Arrived tired at apx. 9 after a long drive, told hotel was \"overbooked\" and my reservation was gone - no room for me. Bonus - the hotel would not reimburse me or offer any compensation whatsoever. I made reservation and prepaid several weeks prior - I asked how it was that my property - the room I already paid for - was taken and given to someone else. I was told there were \"priorities\" and third-party reservations werent a priority. I waited and watched as three people arriving after me were greeted and given rooms. I asked the clerk and she told me maybe they were Marriott points members. I told her I was a member but made my booking through Orbitz since it was cheaper and easier. Inexplicably she said she had a room that needed to be cleaned but I could have it. I looked - large puddle on the floor that had soaked the carpet, the cabinet door was torn off the microwave, none of the floor/desk lamps worked, someone had already taken a shower in the room and the beds were dirty. Given I am 65 years old and was tired, I agreed. She then said I would need to pay for this wreck of a \"room\". I left. 4 more hours of driving tired. Note- during this ordeal several guests came to complain about dirty rooms. This place gives Courtyard a bad name. Suggest management reshuffle. Note also - clerk was very nice and courteous, just passing along what the manager told her over the phone.

Hotel was located very close to our entertainment venue. Appeared clean and well maintained for the most part. My issue was with our room. Upon entering, it had a musty smell. Once we turned the a/c down, we lesrned that it was draining into the room so 1/3 of the carpet was wet!

Trash can underneath tv had trash in it.

Soap holders in bathtub where not cleaned correctly, there where 2 soap holders. Bottom one was filthy and full of mold and rust.

Bathroom floor had dirt with foot prints.

Complimentary coffee was ready by 0730. Most people traveling wake up early to get on the road to avoid traffic. My opinion 0530 to 0600 would be a better time.
