Room did not have all towels needed for two people. One small bar of soap for sink and tub no tissues no water glass or cup. No provisions for coffee. The breakfast was cereal coffee when it said a full breakfast. When we stayed at the other Super 8 in Florence they had all of the above items. 5 1/2 miles away a completely different motel. No more Super 8 for us and will get the problems known to others.

the check in was great... nice guy on duty. The advertised \"breakfast\" was non existent! The equipment was all there but nothing but lukewarm coffee in a thermos and powered creamer. The man said the \"shipment\" did not come in??? There was a 7-11 across the street. There were only 2 tables anyway for a 60 room motel. My guess is there is NEVER breakfast and he uses the same explanation everyday.

Room was not put together properly. Towels ledt on bed. Ironing board did not have a cover nor an iron. Fridge leaked. Floors not swept properly nor washed. Vanity not cleaned properly. Toilet appeared to be dirty with an orange ring in the bowl. Door did not latch or close properly and didn't know until someone walked into our room while sleeping. Bathroom door does not close or lock. The only chair in the room was broken.

Not really going to complain as this was a hotel of last resort due to traveling late and apparently a nascar race in darlington so not many affordable choices. The hotel is located just off the interstate. The bed was comfy and we had clean sheets. Towels were left on the bed. Missing the Wyndham toiletries. No outlet on one side of the bed but we travel with an electrical strip for our CPAP machines. It was quiet. Supposedly breakfast the next morning. Hardly. We had coffee, juice machine was not plugged in, 2 choices of cold cereal and a pitcher of milk. Nothing like some of the other Wyndham hotels we have stayed at. We were a little disappointed.

If i seen the room before i booked, no way i would have stayed there. Only good that was there was the front desk staff. Room was nasty. Spider webs, bugs on curtain, room was stink, sheets were dingy, shower curtain was nasty. Very outdated.. VERY MUCH NEVER AGAIN. So glad i was there for a short time, not a long time.

Nice staff. Bed and room was very clean and comfy. Bathroom needed some repairs. Shower was hot and strong, so good there. Breakfast was a community loaf of bread and butter and a residential coffee pot of weak coffee. This place is a solid 2.5/5 star place for a quick place to lay your head while traveling through.

Reviews said good but it was far from good. AC barely worked, curtains did no block bright light from outside. floor was dirty. the room had been recently painted but poor job. Hotels.com said there would breakfast but only if you like kids cereal and weak coffee. We were told nrw owners were trying ti fix it up but they have a l9ng way to go.

The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was clean, there was no cigarette smell, the beds were comfortable and the linens and towels were clean and fresh. If you're expecting a hotel that looks like a Hilton...this isn't the place for you. However, this hotel is better than most 2 star hotels and it's definitely better than what some of the other reviewers say about it. My only negative comment... don't count on more than coffee and bagels for breakfast.

Just a place to crash for the night.

It was a place to sleep and that's about it. When I open and closed my door the adjoining room had a dog that would start barking. The lock on my side of the adjoining rooms was inoperable so that was a little weird.

Was horrible room was not clean and we felt very unsafe. Ended up leaving and booking a different place. Pictures were very misleading. Floor have not been cleaned. Beds were dirty with hair and other dirt in them. Room door did not seem to shut well A/C did not seem to work well and was busted up.

Where to begin? I walked in the room and was immediately created by a roach and no AC. The bathroom had not been cleaned in quite sometime, there was dead bugs and boot prints in the actual shower. The AC didn’t work the entire stay. I have pictures and would add them to this review, if possible.

The check in was good , the price was good , the office was clean .. it advertised breakfast that only coffee and bagel or toast was available ,, no creamer for the coffee etc ,, room although reasonably clean looks like it was painted by a 12 year old. overall it needs updating really bad .. no coffee maker in the room ,, was an ice bucket but no one seems to know where there is an ice machine .

There were people outside making noise most of the night, the room was not supplied fully, no wash cloth or shampoo. I didn't feel safe. I was planning to stay another night but didn't stay there I checked out after the first night, they would not refund my money for the 2nd night. the person at the front desk got hostel with me and I had to ask him several times to give me my receipt. I want my money back for the night I did not stay. I was not treated with respect.

Dirty property, clean water was not available the first day of my trip, roaches in the room, very unhelpful staff that quite frankly did not have a clue what was going on, had to wait 4 hours to check in because the staff were “running an errand for a guest” honestly one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had. Expedia was not much help in the process either. Stay far away from this property, it is not worth your time even for a cheap stay.

This hotel had the most deplorable room we've ever stayed in. Nothing was clean, blood on the toilet, cockroaches on the walls, a rusted sink, and the shower had chinks missing. The bedding all had cigarette holes and they were filthy. The air conditioner was missing a cover and it blew foul air. The lampshades were covered in dirt, mold, and blood spots. The bedside lamp couldn't be plugged in because there were no outlets on that wall. The couch was stained and also had cigarette burn holes. This hotel should not be open for business!!

The room was filthy. The sofa was stained. The desk chair had no vinyl left in it. We cleaned all hard surfaces ourselves with Clorox wipes including the entire floor. The bathroom fan didn’t work. There was writing on the headboard of the bed. There was no channel guide in the room for the tv. We had to have a waste basket and min fridge brought to the room as both were missing. There was no water in the outside pool. I think it’s mainly a place for people to live as some rooms were occupied as permanent living quarters.

This facility was awful. The front and the lobby is nice but the room was disgusting! There were roaches coming from all the wooden furniture, it was so AWFUL! There looked to be old blood on the mattress and there were cigarette burns on everything. I honestly can't believe this place is still in business. The only nice thing I can say is the lobby looked clean and the front desk associate was very nice.

I would like to request a full refund. This hotel was very disgusting. It had a bunch of young people drinking and hanging out in the front at 1:45am (the time we arrived). In addition, the actual hotel room was very disgusting. It was not cleaned or sanitized before our arrival. The bathroom had pubic hairs on the toilet, there was a dead roach on the floor where sink is. There were holes in the wall, and it smelled horrible (dirty).

I am requesting a refund because we could not stay in a place where we feared we were going to get robbed and because it was filthy disgusting as again, it was NOT cleaned prior to our arrival. How can Expedia suggest a place like that? We are requesting a full refund.

When I arrive the place looked deserted, more than 3/5 of the area looked closed off. After circling around four time , I chance on 2 residents that told where to wait. After a couple of minutes, the desk personnel arrived to open the front door. The place look like something from the murder network. In the breakfast are a out of order sign was visible. After getting the keys, my wife and I went to the first room, I almost slipped on some water on the floor, the room smelled musty and of cigarettes. There was mold behind the bathroom door. The desk chair had a big dark stain on the cushion. When we moved the covers, roaches were scurrying about.
I went back to the front desk, to get another room. The second room was better but when I laid down to sleep, my wife saw , what look like a bed dug trying to hitch a ride. When went back again to the front desk to complain. He offered another room but by that time, we had enough. After packing we went down to another place, that was 10 times better.
The Travelodge was like an pay by the hour seedy motel.
We feel we should get a refund since in was so awful. During my time in the military , I found condition in the woods more appealing

Very dirty. Roaches dead on the floor of room just cleaned (floor still wet) when we walked in. Very poor condition linens, furniture and bathroom. Hotel needs a complete do over. TV sound was not working correctly so TV had to be swapped out. Breakfast was very non existent. Cereal was stale. Very little milk available,no tea or sugar, no bananas to go with cereal. Asked employee to get spoons to eat cereal. Went out to my car to get bananas and hot chocolate mix for my husbands breakfast. Never stay there again!!!!!!

The room was not what I would expect from Expedia. It was dirty, there was no hair dryer, no tissues, and the toilet seat was ready to fall off. I spilled some water on the floor by the desk, and when I wiped it up the toilet paper I used was black dirt on it. SAD!!!!

This place was just gross…. I walked barefoot during the night from the bed to the bathroom in the middle of the night and then back to bed. I woke up in the morning and my feet we black!. Dirty, full of bugs in the room, plus got bed bug bites in the next morning i woke up. This motel not deserve to use Wyndham's chain name with the hotel conditions.

We couldn’t even stay at this hotel. We checked in went to the room bed had burn holes on bed cover, roaches running around. Old used bandaid on the ground. Carpets were not at all vacuumed.
To be completely honest this place should be shut down or condemned.

Smoking room was absolutely awful! There was literally yellow, spot-stained sheets and broken glass. Brown strings of cobwebs on the ceiling and clearly visible white stains on the thin fabric they call a comforter. Requested a non-smoking room instead and it wasn’t that much better. Carpets made the bottom of my feet dirty! But I was too afraid that I would catch athlete’s foot if I took a shower. The ceiling of the bathroom literally cracked and leaking, the spare tissue roll was damp with said disgusting water! I could smell the weed and cigarettes the people in the room next to us were smoking. 0/10

This place is disgusting. The bathroom in the lobby was not cleaned and there was certain things left behind in one of the toilets. The first room we were given did not have a phone and the toilet overflowed. The second room was terrible. It smelled like pot. There was a message on the mirror that was written in lipstick. Someone made a pathetic attempt of cleaning it off. The fire alarm was disconnected from the wall and chirping. The picture frames had broken glass in them. There were holes in the wall. We decided to not stay there and as we were putting our bags in my truck we saw 2 cockroaches crawling around the trash can. The only positive experience was that the night manager felt terrible and said he was told that every room was spotless and refunded our money. DO NOT STAY HERE!

Online photos are completely misleading guests. Property is old, needs tons of updates, carpets are dirty and old, doors don’t even close completely, air conditioner is awfully noisy, impossible to sleep, bathroom is old and small. Location was ok, but there was roaches in my first room. They moved me to a different room with no phone and the microwave was broken. It took 3 days to get a new microwave never got a phone. I stayed in this hotel for 2 weeks. And was forced to keep the stay because of financial situation. Pool stated it was just closed however it was completely black inside. Very bad stay!

Hotel cancelled our reservation that same night

We were a family of 8 so we booked 2 rooms for one night a few weeks before our travel date. We selected to pay at the hotel option since we've used that option before and never had any problems.

The day of the travel date we got a call around 6pm from the hotel to confirm the reservations. I informed them yes we were on our way already and we were going to get there around 10pm-11pm. The guy on the phone said no problem. At around 9pm (we were 1.5 hours away) we got another call from the hotel telling us they are sold out and they cancelled our reservation (both rooms). I asked them how was that possible if just 3 hours before we confirmed the reservation. He said \"well we are sold out so we don't have anymore room for you\". He said it without even apologizing. I asked him what were we going to do now at that time, if they would book us in another hotel and he said no, just like that.

At that time 9pm I had to call Hotels.com and book another hotel, of course now much more expensive since it was the same night.

Double charged for one room one night stay.

I was traveling with my mother and two children driving up from FL to NY. Late night I booked the cloest hotel to us driving on the highway, did not read any reviews or look at the location. I just wanted a bed to sleep in and a hot shower, which I did receive from the hotel. I booked the room for only one night but did not check into the hotel till after midnight. Woke up the next morning to get breakfast from the lobby which was satisfactory. Upon check out I did not request a receipt since I booked the hotel through Hotels.com and that would ok, but when I got the bill in for the credit card used to rent the room there was an additional charge from the hotel of $70, which is more than I paid for the room through the website. Tried to call the hotel to file a dispute with someone in the office but was told that I would have to call back at a later time when the manager was in the office. Why not take my name and number and they can call me at their earliest convenience? So we filed a dispute with my credit card company and it was initially approved but then rejected because Travelodge said that was a legit transaction and the bank took back their refund. If this is our how you do business by double charging customers then you'll never see me at another Travelodge or Wyndam property.

Worse place I have been to. Never ever visit this kind of hotel again in the future. We are really disappointed.
