Hotel is in a nice area and nestled into nice surroundings. Rooms are basic and ours was full of mosquitos, had to buy a plug in to stop anymore coming into the room! Food was okay, but we only had breakfast. Worth a stay but don’t expect 5*.

Thus last day I leave fir a dive trip and they are storing my luggage after helping me to look fir my sunglasses… which they laughed with me when I realized they were under my shirt. I was embarrasses but they were so kind. I love this spot and cannot wait to return. Kindness, grace and peace are found here.

The staff was lovely, however this does not make up for the grounds nor does it make up for the run down rooms, linens, and overalll appearance of the property & its rooms. Every towel, every day, was tattered or torn. Bedsheets had holes in them. The property is extremely run down, not properly maintained, every stone & exterior decor is dirty and ungroomed. The outdoor water sources do not have water movement, so the water is stagnate. The back of the facility smells of sewer. The rooms are very dark & not well cleaned. They advertise \"pillow top\" mattresses, they provide pillow top toppers, on request, and they do not add comfort. The gym is deplorable. No space, old equipment that is rusted, no cleaning supplies to wipe down mats or equipment. The breakfast bar containers are not washed daily, the condiments are just topped up.

Nice hotel, food needs help

Pros: really lush property, comfortable rooms with balconies, nice pool area, nice breakfast area. You can walk into town and to the beach which is great.

Cons: the food is pretty terrible. Breakfast is good, but we ordered pad thai and a curry at dinner, and it was almost flavorless and no spice at all, not even a hint. Lots of europeans, so we wondered if they watered down the flavors to try and cater to that?

Wow what can I say what an experience we loved it, upon arrival till departure we loved it all, the staff, room, everything was on point.
It was our 10 year anniversary and the hotel staff went out of their way to make sure we had a remember able stay, it was shocking and well worth it.

Our room was huge, very clean and with a terrace. The floors are raised off ground level though so you can hear everyone when they are walking about as they are very creaky. If you want peace and quiet, this is the place for you as the bar takes last orders around 10.30. There is a main strip a walk away with bars and restaurants though. Food excellent, staff lovely, setting beautiful. I can highly recommend it.

Staff were all very friendly and accommodating from check-in to check-out.
We were really impressed with our rooms overall and consider this hotel to be great value for money.
Buffet breakfast was fantastic with a great selection of items. We also had the Thai Buffet dinner and that was also fantastic.
We even managed a few massages and found this to be very relaxing.
My only comment would be the water pressure in the shower was very soft but overall very impressed with our stay.

A great resort just by the beach. Friendly service, an excellent breakfast buffet of fresh food options, a comfortable room with a cosy bed and all of the amenities. A feature of the stay was an excellent soul resetting Thai massage... a little more expensive than the options down by the beach but the ambience of the Bhandari spa made it worth every Baht.

Great resort in Khao Lak

We stayed here for a week and had zero issues the entire time. The resort is intimate and just off the main road so there is not much traffic or noise pollution but close enough to any restaurants. The facility itself is well maintained, the mattresses and pillows were very firm, and AC was powerful. Wifi was powerful, we had no issue connecting wherever we were. The staff is very friendly, the service is prompt and whenever we had a special request, it was met promptly. Daily breakfast buffett is nice, has western eggs, pancakes, toast, meats, salad bar, fruit, and Asian delights like rotating curry, stir fry, noodles, and soup.
The beach is right across the street. There is only one pool that is medium size, I could imagine at capacity the pool area would become full pretty quick.
If you're okay staying in Khao Lak then this is probably one of the best value and well-run resorts in town. If you're more adventurous and plan to spend a majority of your time off resort, I would recommend staying farther north which is a little more vibrant.

Fabulous stay

I travelled with a group of friends for 6 days of fun and relaxation and we couldn't have been happier with our trip. We booked early and got a really good rate with Expedia which included 30% of Spa treatments and 10% off food & beverages.
The rooms were spacious, comfortable and clean. My only complaint was that the AC was loud and rather aggressive but i'm not a fan AC, my room mate thought it was great!
The pool area is lovely and the staff are so attentive and friendly. The Spa itself is very good value, even more so with 30% off. I had an excellent Thai massage for just THB400!
The breakfast on offer is substantial, fresh and tasty. The general food offering at the hotel is good with the pad thai and massaman curry being particularly good.
The hotel is not on the beach but it is only a short walk away. Location wise it is in a good spot in Khao Lak with some very good restaurants and bars nearby.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and I would definitely return!

We originally booked a single room which we upgraded to a bungalow after the first week. Really enjoyed our stay especially after the upgrade. The staff were very accommodating and friendly. Our family stayed at The Sands (just up the road) but would probably have preferred Bhandari as it was much smaller and certainly much more a Thai experience whereas The Sands was huge and much more modern but just didn't feel Thai and could have been anywhere in the world.
Meals were excellent with a wide variety of Thai and European food available at typical cheap prices.
Pool was very good and family friendly with ample lounges readily available.

Great hotel in a superb location. The staff at reception who booked us in appeared new to role and struggled to provide basic information. However, the other staff in pool bar, breakfast area and the girls who cleaned the rooms were all very friendly and attentive. Hotel in pretty good state of repair, wood starting to need reprinting in places but doesn't distract from your wonderful stay. Pool area great, always plenty of sun beds. Beach across the road, takes less than 5 minutes to get there so no big issue.

We stayed in a bungalow which is very well equipped and laid out. The bed and especially the bedding is very comfortable and clean. My husband loved the fishes in the pond and the gardens surrounding the hotel. It is a few minuted to the beach, and about a 10 minute walk to the main road. Restaurants and bars are all nearby.

WONDERFUL PLACE WITH CARING STAFF

We were very ill during our 20 night stay and the staff took such good are of us from calling out the doctor to driving us to the Pharmacy with the hotels vehicle to bringing our breakfast to us in our room when we were to ill to go to breakfast, which were absolutely superb. The breakfast staff are especially friendly and kind. Wish we could have actually had a holiday but our gorgeous Thai Bungalow was turned into a Hospital ward. May was the lady that cleaned up our Bungalow everyday and she was lovely. Dan & KaeCy were also so helpful, the Restaurant Manager always enquiring about our health. Such a Beautiful Hotel with lovely pool area and the bit we saw of the gardens was lovely. We had 2 Pet Indian Miner birds, a cat and a Squirrel that regularly came to visit. Can't say enough about this stunning place & it's staff. Thank you so much to all of you - I hope we will be back to actually enjoy our stay with you.

The hotel is in a good location in Nang Thong. Many of the staff were very good but others not so. The buffet breakfast was a decent standard. The condition of the hotel was reasonable, it has certainly seen better days. Out of 5 hotels I had stayed in on this trip it was the only hotel to charge for bottle water in the rooms. A minor point to many but to me reflective of the general standard of the hotel.

One negative- My partner and I attended happy hour but they had put whisky in a rum bottle and served this to us. When questioned, their reply was \"but i saw it come out of the bottle\" and charged us. Better to avoid spirits and cocktails at the pool bar :(

Relaxing Garden and Spa setup

Hotel with a nice garden and Spa setup but no direct access to the beach. There are no deck chairs to be rented on the beach, the beach is quite narrow.
Spa experience excellent and very nice and well trained masseurs.
The chalets are quite noisy, hardly any noise cancellation between rooms and floors. You should go for the bungalow and make sure you get one on the side to have some privacy.

This hotel is being used by travel companies, making it very busy and impossible to get a sunbed round the pool. Other guests reserve their beds before breakfast so we only managed to get a bed after 3pm.

Beautiful setting

We loved our garden cottage and the lush foliage was a delight.
Staff were pleasant and mostly friendly but you need to work everything out yourself
because of the language barrier.
The breakfast offered plenty of choices but was of average quality.
One thing that did concern us was lack of security, there were drunken guests in the pool
at 2am one morning and no one controlled the situation even though reception is open 24hrs and is alongside
the pool.
I have to say that overall this was a peaceful and very pretty resort....it just needs to address the
above issues.
We would return.

Beautiful hotel with immaculate gardens.

There was some confusion on arrival as to how long I was staying at the hotel, this was caused by having to make two bookings with Expedia due to the length of my stay (30 days). This would not have happened if you could book more than 26 days at a time with Expedia. Everything else went fairly smoothly, though the English of some of the staff at reception was not particularly good and at times had difficulty in making myself understood, though I was usually passed on to someone who could speak English a little better.

Khao Lak is a nice place to go for a quiet get away to watch beautiful sunsets. Bhandari is in a quiet location just across a very small road from the beach. Large complex of Bungalows that are big and comfortable set in well kept grounds. The staff are excellent, breakfast buffet is large and good. It is a ten minute walk to the main street where there are many shops and restaurants or just rent a motor bike. I would not hesitate to return.

Great resort for young kids

We ate , we swam and we relaxed. It's a lovely area, and the grounds are beautiful. A short (10 mins) pleasant walk to the main road where a lot of the restaurants and shops are, there is a free shuttle bus from the resort that will take you too. Thai massage at the spa was great. The food from the restaurant was fabulous. Our toddler had a really great time and we felt safe.

Calmer Phuket Getaway

Khao Lak is more aligned to a couples type getaway, the town is not very lively compared to any of the Phuket beach towns on the peninsula. That being said, the hotel was very nice and tranquil situated right across from the beach. Hotel was in fine condition and very reasonably priced. Would stay here again for sure. Rooms very clean, nice spa, and a pretty solid restaurant attached.

We only stayed one night but the hotel was pretty to look at, ponds, chalets, pool, shaded reading areas etc. Breakfast was average for a 4* hotel but they did have panang curry as one of the items so I was happy. Rooms were spacious, clean and nicely decorated. Would have stayed longer but we were just passing through to khao sok national park about an hour away.

Not usually ready to dish out 5's on any review, but this was an awesome expirence.
Staff SUPER freiendly and helpful.

The only issue at all was on our first day, they charged us 300 baht to ride into the next town (turned out it was only 4-5 km) for lunch. Found out later you can rent a scooter for 200-250 baht for a full day, which we did for the rest of our stay, making everything very conveinent.

Quick walk to the beach and less than 10 minutes to walk to the main strip.
Staff was constantly cleaning up and was never a bother, even the maid service was never an itteruption. Showed up earlier than check in, but after just 15-20 min we were in our room.

Will DEFINITELY stay again when in the area.

PS Check out Joe's Steak House while here. Hard to find but great food!

Good layout hotel and gardens that are well maintained for its age ( prolly 8 years old). Stayed in bungalow with room larger than expected. Breakfast is clean/fresh/efficient (<- as are the entire hotel staff). Needed to explain medical condition to reception staff and they had me shuttled to nearby clinic in minutes. Max 2 minutes walk to beach. And maybe 8 minutes easy walk to shops/restraunts. Like other comments, gotta have a fresh made pancake from the lady at the street corner that leads down to the hotel from the shopping area.

Les photos retranscrivent bien le ce que l'hôtel propose. Les villas en bord de piscine sont absolument géniales et il y a un trois petits sièges intégré dans la piscine qui permettent de s'asseoir pour consommer une boisson au bar. Il y a aussi des petits équipements, des balles ou du badminton pour jouer dans la piscine. Le prix des massages est très raisonnable. 15 € de mémoire. Le restaurant est très bien également en tout une super expérience

Ein tolles Hotel mit unglaublich nettem und zuvorkommendem Service! Die Bungalows sind groß, sauber und bieten durch den Abstand zueinander auch abends angenehme Ruhe. Das Frühstück ist riesig und sehr abwechslungsreich – für jeden etwas dabei. Der Pool ist groß und sehr gepflegt, und die direkte Lage am Strand von Khao Lak ist traumhaft. Einziger Nachteil: Durch die Strandlage ist man etwas abseits, Sehenswürdigkeiten erreicht man nur per Taxi oder selbst organisiert.

Sehr schöne unterkunft, mit gutem Frühstück. Pool ist auch sehr schön, nur leider ab 8.30 Uhr sind alle liegen vollständig durch handtücher reserviert. Dagegen sollte das Hotel etwas unternehmen.

Für mich war es nur möglich am Pool zu liegen, weil ich den Erwachsenen Pool nebenan benutzt habe.

Ok hotel, the pool area is great, with a bar where you can order food and drinks. The breakfast is a bit boring with only filter coffee. Rooms are big, but a bit dark. The hotel is not too far from the beach and there are plenty of touristy restaurants close by.

Bon emplacement proche de la plage et des restaurants. Chambre vieillotte mais spacieuse avec petite terrasse sur un joli jardin, problème de fuite dans la climatisation et d'évacuation dans les toilettes.
Très bon petit déjeuner.
Pas d'assistance de la réception pour le choix d'un prestataire pour aller aux îles Similan et pour la réservation d'un scooter.

Lyhörd bungalow

Vi bodde i en bungalow som var mycket lyhörd. På nätterna skrek katter som gick omkring på hotellområdet.
Receptionen upplevdes som rörig, många jobbade där men gav ingen attention till gästen.
Däremot var servicen vid frukosten utmärkt.

Der Strand im Bereich des Hotels ist felsig , das Hotel in die Jahre gekommen und im Thailändischem Stil gehalten. Zimmer hellhörig auf Außengeräusche, Badezimmer ist nicht klimatisiert und wirkt etwas altmodisch. Das Frühstücksbuffet war immer genau gleich. Trotzdem hatten wir einen sehr schönen Urlaub im Hotel

Ett mysigt hotell.

Ett mysigt hotell där man kan känna att man är i Thailand. Mycket växtlighet och två egna varaner som husdjur.
Hotellet är slitet, stora glipor i dörrar och fönster, vi fick täppa till med saronger för att inte få in mygg. Men vi trivdes där och personalen är glada och trevliga.
150 m tiĺl havet. Fanns solstolar att hyra. En restaurang på stranden där man kan äta lunch för en liten peng.

敷地内に沢山の植物があり、部屋のバルコニーからも山が見渡せて、自然を存分に感じられるホテルでした。
山から朝日が昇るところも見えるし、バルコニーにフクロウも飛んできました。
ホテルの目の前のビーチは、サンセットタイムにお散歩するのが最高です。
リラックスして過ごせる場所です。
スーパーやレストランも徒歩10分圏内なので、便利でした。

Magnifique hôtel .

Dans un joli jardin les chambres sont des joli bungalow style thaïlandais. La chambre est confortable, spacieuse. La climatisation est silencieuse et le wifi performant. La piscine est superbe et le petit déjeuné au top . Le personnel est accueillant et je retournerai dans cette hôtel .

Sehr schöne Anlage im siamesischen Stil. Zimmer total abgewohnt und lieblos eingerichtet. Badezimmer unterster Standard. Auf keinen Fall den Zimmerpreis wert. Lage des Hotels am hintersten Ende der Stadt. Der öffentliche Strand in der Nähe des Hotels ist nicht nutzbar,da nur Steine und Riffe im Wasser und alles sehr dreckig ist
