The place looked run down. Room was nice I booked and wanted a smoke free room for me and my kids. They put us in a smoke room. Soon as you walked in it smelled STRONG smoke turns out they gave the smoke free room to someone who booked a king bed into a double bed. Room service was just awful there was only one day this nice lady cleaned out room I took our trash out of course the next few days the only sat towels on our bed. I had asked for a broom so I COULD sweep our floor (never received it) wouldn’t recommend. Last thing I had paid for the room and they wanted a $100 deposit?! Like for what reason. Hopefully I get it back.

Please be aware of the conditions whennyou stay her. The noise level was horrible my next door neighbor played music up until 11:30 pm and the room I booked was supposed to be a non-smoking room but instead the smell was so bad and stale you can clearly see it was a smokers room with all the ash trays it had in it. Not to mentioned the roaches would not let me be they ran around all night and by day you barely saw them. I literally itched the entire night and told the staff that I’d be better off sleeping in my truck!!!

My friend and I were visiting Sulphur for a race. We decided on the Motel 6, being that all of the pictures posted online looked as if it had been newly refurbished. It was also an inexpensive choice, and since we were in town for only one night, we simply needed a place to rest our head before race day.
Upon arrival, things seemed relatively fine. We checked in at the front (where we were charged an alleged refundable $100 incidental fee). We made our way back outside and up the stairs to the second floor to our room, and that’s where the immediate regret set in. Upon unpacking, we noticed our microwave was open and had obviously, recently been used. The bathtub was stained with black mold and the towels in the bathroom were damp (I am hoping from not being dried well after washing, but who knows). There appeared to be remnants of vomit left in the sink, food stains on the bed sheets, and the main event was a brown splatter/smudge on the wall next to the bed, wherein I can assume landed there due to previous patrons getting a little too freaky deeky in the sheets.
While I understand one must not expect too much from an establishment called a “motel”, I do believe it is not unreasonable to expect basic human decency and cleanliness. Maybe I can use the refunded $100 to go toward an STD panel after spending a night in such a questionable, unclean setting.

The room albeit was somewhat clean, what was alarming was the insane amount of pot smoking residence around me. All I could smell was pot from about 4 o’clock to probably one in the morning. I did not inform the front desk. I did not call the police. I just wanted to get the experience over with and be on my way. It’s not the safest of neighborhoods and I wasn’t looking for trouble. I was disappointed to say the least with my stay.

The manager at this property is really really rude to the other employees and she is awfully rude to the customer someone need to look into her mode of supervision. I would recommend her being removed thank you so much. The rum was great the cashier was great.

Reserved king non smoking. They only had a double or king smoking. Choose king smoking. It smelled like weed when we walked into the room and the cigarette smell was atrocious. My asthma kicked in and it was miserable. Next morning I was offered coffee the I couldn’t get out of their carafe because it was almost empty. The powder creamer curdled in my cup. Just gross.

Long story short ....Booked through hotels.com $374 for a week hotel charged $474 . Put in smoking room . I dont smoke . It was stought. Asked to be Moved . I was moved to another smoking room . All hours of the evening and night doors slamming , dogs barking , couples arguing. Room was ok but cigarette burn holes all in the blankets , matress , and even pillows ! Killed two roaches the first few hours there . When i booked the room the picture of the room advertised had a kitchen and full size refrigerator. I work 14 hour days and need all the sleep i can get . I had two hours sleep that one night. Asked to check out early and was immediately told i would not receive any type of refund or credit with an attitude . At 2 a.m and with 2 hours of sleep . the last thing i wanna hear is someone nasty attitude. . I know why they keep if you cancel early . They couldnt house the roaches and hoodlums.

THIS HOTEL is literally the worst hotel I have ever been to. I am not the type to really do reviews, but here I definitely will. Very long story short my husband and I key would not work one morning We came back from breakfast. We went about 4 or 4:30 in the morning. We get back and no one is here. We rang The bell called knocked on the door. We do this for almost 2 hours. I have medical problems and needed to get into the room to get my medication Immediately we couldn’t get in. So again long story short a lady shows up she was very rude. I was talking to my husband and she smarted off something saying I was talking to her. I wasn’t she went in and didn’t even come to the window to help us right away. She went to another room for like another 10 or 15 minutes then when she does show up to the window to do our key, she stood there For like five minutes on the computer and then gave us our key. There is so much more to the story than this, but the customer service from her was absolutely very unprofessional. She was very rude. Very disrespectful. I booked this stay a couple weeks before my arrival and my credit card was charged at that time. When I arrived, it took over an hour to check in because on their system, it didn't show that I had paid even though I had a reservation. I showed them the confirmation and even the payment, but it still wouldn't let them release the room to me. I also had to pay a $100 dollar deposit. The desk clerk (Keyshawn) was EXTREMELY PROFESSIONAL, HELPFUL and POLITE! He called his manager who apparently couldn't help him and directed him to call Expedia (your company). It didn't seem like Expedia could resolve the problem either.

The floor could have used a sweeping, but overall it was clean. The sink was cracked badly and that detracted from the room.
Probably the worst for me was having to go up and down stairs. Im an older person and my knees arent good. I requested no stairs when i booked online, but it didnt make it to the info the hotel got, and they didnt have a downstairs room. The very nice young man who checked me in suggested i call them directly next time and i will. We always enjoy staying here and will again next time we are in town.

The only problem we had was i was 3 mins late paying for our room. We had been there a week because my home caught fire so we were homeless. I feel asleep and woke up at 11:03 ran to pay and they had rented the room out already. Now i had to wait till after midnight to get paid also. So we had to pack up all of our thing find another hotel that takes pets. I understand the rules, but man 3 mins. The employees were great.

Well I loved coming to this hotel as I have been for many years. Untill the staff came knocking at my door at 11 am. Well I had overslept so I got up went to the door, after my grandchildren had already opened it and was told I had to get out. I wante the room for another day but my son hadn't gotten there to pay. I have 4 grandkids in the suite with me and one has Ducheenes Muscular Dystrophy and it takes me a few minutes to get him up, changed, dressedand in his chair. They kept knocking on the door every 5 minutes. Not the same staff member but every single.one of them one at a time came knocking at my door. I kept telling them we were getting out that I was trying to get my disabled grandson, who is 11 years old, ready to go. They just kept saying you need to get out now or we going to call the cops. Well call the cops cause I won't rush the process of getting this child changed and dressed . He is in pain always and suddenovements, like picking up his arms or legs but him Badley. So I needed to take my time. Needless to say we were out by noon. Now i ask u, does this make any sense? They were rude and ugly. I had never been treated this way. No empathy at all for me or my grandson. We waited outside while my ride was on the way to pick us up. I was embarrassed at how they talked to me and very hurt the way they just acted like I was lying about my grandson. I wish I was. I don't want him to have this problem
