Its Just your average Sports bar Hotel however the accomidation is clean and comfortable ... the only thing I didnt like is that they advertise they have a bristro and restuarant but they dont have any food service at all , all they offer is Alcohol a Tab and Pokies ....

This hotel took my booking and confirm my booking by email and text message and took payment also. but when I arrived at hotel they tell me That they do not have a room available. We left a day earlier than planned after being rudely interupted whilst in our room during the daytime by one of cleaning staff unlocking the door and trying to barge in. A complaint was made as well as a request for a refund which was given I must say. Apart from that, the room was lovely as well as the bathroom. Loved the decor. Im sure the staff member would have been spoken too. So please do not decide to not stay because of the comment.

Smells of paint and newness very bad gave me a headache.
.lots of foreigners talking loudly from 1am to 3.30 am outside room. Lights from cars flodded the room.keeping us awake.(assume staff leaving for the night.)

Me and a friend checked in, and checked out the same night. There were stains on the blanket, mattress protector and towels. But they would not refund the two nights that we didn’t stay. It was disgusting and management were appalling. Not one PowerPoint worked in the room except one on the roof which the tv was connected to. The hotel menu had burn holes in it. It was overall a horrible and luckily wotif found another hotel at 2am on a Saturday morning.

At night people walk past your room at any hour with offensive language. There is always lights on outside and the blinds are broken so you are not able to make the room dark to sleep. The air conditioner did not work and the lamp had no bulb.

Picture's tell a thousand words, but on arrival it was anything but the pictures. This is basic accomodation attached to a pub. The bed was clean and very comfortable, Air Conditioning was ineffective old and loud. It did eventually warm the room up. Outside Noise was average, lucky it was a Sunday night. A bit overpriced for what it was tbh, Ibis Budget is the same price and a bit better.

Check in took far too long, pre booked yet still needed to print out paperwork to be signed. During this time more focus put on the people wanting to drink and gamble. An upfront bond was needed for the room and not just a credit card copy with a refund timeframe of 10 to 30 days an absolute disgrace local council can operate quicker than this.

Its functional for everything but sleeping

First off the staff were nice, but checking in i don't know what they were doing in that other room taking so long? The room was very very basic, functional, but with the signs of age and wear present. I was there for one week and not one night passed undisturbed by noisy guests. One night with a woman shouting in the next room until 3am, another night with Arabs talking loudly on the table on the outside pathway right under the BIG signs that say 'quiet zone, please be considerate' until 2:30am

You can expect to be disturbed by rude guests at this hotel.... rude guests are probably everywhere but good hotels have a new fangled something called 'sound proofing'.

Minimal, simple room with excellent heating on a freezing night, although we could hear a neighbouring room guest enjoying himself to an escort service at 1.30am. This was NOT pleasing.

Bed was comfortable (although was two single beds pushed together), plenty of places to eat nearby but disappointing that there was no bistro at the hotel, only a bar (although quite welcoming) and a huge pokie venue), good shower pressure, no microwave - only a toaster, kettle and some NesCafe blend 43 satchels, some sugar and two 250ml containers of long life milk in a bar fridge.

Slept quite well despite the numerous \"bumps\" in the night due to our neighbouring guest.

Although probably won't stay here again.

When I arrived (tired and dirty) I wasn't able to be booked into a room because internet was down (not their fault) but I had prebooked so was in the system. had a free drink in bar.
I thought being off the road a bit it might have been quiet, but I was in room 1 next to carpark, and there was a lot of carpark activity ALL night, so sleep was interrupted constantly. I didn't expect a lot as I know the area well, but did expect to be able to sleep. Probably once again not managements fault.

Cold, unfriendly, unhelpful reception. Not allowed to take glass wine to room, my only request following 24 hr flight! Access to descent food would also have been nice. Window blind did not fully cover bottom of window, so did not feel safe or private. Was necessary to cover with towel. Whilst bed was comfortable and clean, room smelt unfresh and stuffy. My own fault, should have read reviews before made hurried booking. As it was described as 'hotel' felt it would suit my needs. Had no idea it was gambling environment and totally unsuitable for female OAP, who does not gamble, travelling alone.

The reception area being in Sports bar was a bit uncomfortable for a female checking in . The room was rather poorly cleaned. The beds were fine and comfortable. Bathroom was old but that wasn't the problem, towel rail missing, no where to hang towel or clothes, mould around the shower. No where to leave the key on checkout. Not being told I would require a $100 deposit for the key prior to checking in. Stayed Saturday and as of Tuesday the deposit refund has not been received. Bedside lamp not even plugged into an electrical socket.

The quality of the hotel was far less than desired. And on top of that, they requested the key deposit be in cash at check in. Giving that I was traveling that was not an issue at the time. However the following morning upon check out they accused us of never giving us a deposit. We were forced to wait for unknown reasons along with another guest having the same issue. Overall it was more hassle than it was worth. Save yourself the headache.

Clean cheap room close to airport.

I wanted a clean , cheap comfortable room to stay in for a night in the area. It was an older style building with standard clean rooms. I didn't want to pay through the nose for a 4 or 5 star service, so this was ideally suited to my needs. The room had an air conditioner, bar fridge, television, single & double bed, bathroom with basin, shower & toilet. A nice touch was a 240V to USB charger available in the room.

About three thirty a.m. there sounded like 3 or 4 drunk & loud people outside our room making a lot of noise for about 20 minutes then another noise like a scratching sound coming from the other side of the wall ? finally got back to sleep around 4.30 a.m. then about 6.30 a.m. 2 doors up fom our room another 2 LOUD & noisey guests were leaving then one of the staff decides to start sweeping & scraping rubbish up in the car park just up from our room so I put my head out the door looked at this clown & said to him NOISEY ! all was quiet finally by 7.a.m by this time I felt so tired & angry, would never recommend this joint to anyone,my advise would be to pay a bit more money & stay elsewhere this place would have to be the worst I've ever stayed in !

You're obviously not paying for a 5 start restaurant but it's still a nice place. Check in is in the sports bar which means you're surrounded by the smell of alcohol and cigarettes for a bit. The rooms are neat and tidy. You can't hear sounds through the walls from other rooms which was great but you can hear everything that's going on outside. Not great when someone's leaving at 5am

We only choose this hotel as it was close to the airport and the freeway. We arrived very late in the evening and were checking out very early next morning so only needed somewhere to rest our head. Checking in was not a problem, our issue was it is suppose to be a smoke free room and when we walked in the stench nearly made me sick. Stale cigarette smoke made it very unpleasant. I didn't realize how bad it was until we arrived home the following night and my pj's still stank. For the money I paid I wasn't expecting and whistles and bells. just an OK room with a shower, it it weren't for the stale smoke would have had no problems.

My fiance and I stayed 1 night at this hotel and we are glad it was only 1 night ! While the hotel looks really nice , bars gambling area etc. And the staff (except for 1) were really nice , the accommodation was very below average ! The cups were dirty , the kettle was full of black flakes of i don't know what, the door was falling apart , the bathroom was reasonably clean, the choice of roller blind next to the door gave anybody outside the room a clear view into bathroom/toilet ! No seperate parking for people staying at the hotel which meant there were people being rowdy and cars starting up and reving up outside the rooms frequently until all hours ! Overall it was an unpleasant experience

TV sound was terrible, hard to hear as sound jumped. The air con was so noisy we had to turn off overnight. No windows so no fresh air. Thankfully it was a cool night. Been in better for same price. A different room the second night and TV and Air Con were good. Crumbs still on table but bathroom clean. Carpets need replacing.

The room was nothing to what the photos show we were ment to have a double room ( a double n. Single bed) there was hardly room for the bed side table so no chance for a single bed not happy for that ,
We booked this room cause we had a party near n thought better to be close so we didn't have to drive far but at the end once we got there from the party we hated it even more so at 3:30 am we decided to just drive home.
So at the end it was a waste of money hated it

I stayed there for work but luckily only for one night. Reception is at the bar in the betting TAB section which was empty but still waited about 20mins to find someone to help. Rooms are basic at best. A bed, a very dated bathroom with mound and peeling paint and a bench with tea and coffee facilities. There was a wardrobe but the doors were so stiff I couldn't open it and was then just put off and gave up. The room face the car park which is lit all night and surround the pub. Hoons, drunks and late arrivals (3am) through the night. Theres no food onsite either.
You get what you pay for and for $80 I got a bed and that's about it. Would definitely find a better place even a little further from my destination next time.

Checking in was a nightmare. After weaving through the drunks in the sports bar, the woman behind the counter asked me 5 different times for my name. Once that debacle was over we ventured into our room and were greeted with stained blankets and towels as well as blinds falling off the windows.
