The room was very clean and comfy and the bathroom had toiletries supplied. There was ample teabags and coffee sachets along with sugar and teaspoons. There are snacks available along with alcohol, at reception. The restaurant is not open at present. The motel is on a very busy road but it wasn't too bad at night.

We stayed overnight to visit a concert in Northcote, and chose St. George’s motor inn as it was close to public transport/walking distance. Great that there was onsite parking. The room was clean and functioning with fridge but for additional amenities like microwave, plates snd cutlery. you needed to call the front desk. Bathroom looked like recently updated. Our bathroom door looked like recently repaired but awaiting paint.

We had twin room in winter, the double bed had electric blanket which unfortunately we didn’t discover till the morning, the single did not. There were no blankets on the beds, just sheets and bed cover. There was 1 blanket in the cupboard not as if we could share. They probably expected us to run the ac to heat the room. We were only used to ac to cool and therefore we found ourselves cold overnight with not enough covers. I ended up stealing the cover from the other single to get enough insulation.

If we were staying more than one night we would have sorted it out as they seemed very nice at front desk, but it was late when we returned from the concert and we just rolled with it.

They were happy to keep check in open with my flight getting in late. The room was much bigger than expected, with a layout that wasn't boring like most chain hotels. The bathroom was recently renovated and included a spa bath and waterfall shower. Conveniently located a short walk to High St, Thornbury, and 2 different tram lines to the city.

Value for money motel. Exceptionally clean, great staff, bathroom rocked. Really worth every cent. However, no lift and i was on crutches, very noisy main road being from the country this was very noticable. Thin walls hard the next door people having a full on conversation at 3am. Bed very very hard but i normally sleep on a latex mattress. Tv had no hd channels. The cleanliness and space of the room were exceptional. The bathroom lovely and modern. Tea coffee etc. Had breakfast but didn't try. Reasonably priced. Would stay again but ask for a treat room not a room facing st georges rd.
