The management had made sure that my request for walking a short distance was actioned - much appreciated. the parking was reasonably priced compared to other hotels and was easy to access with clear instructions . As a regular guest at The Eminence it’s disappointing that cleanliness has significantly deteriorated. Soap dispensers empty, hair of the previous guest on the floor and years of mould accumulation in the bathroom. This is not acceptable and doesn’t adhere to the usual standard of other Cllix properties in Australia.

Perfect location for where we needed to be. Room had a good amount of space for a family and decent facilities but there was some water damage to the floor and door outside the bathroom which caused the floor to warp. Rubbish wasn't put out by housekeeping or past tenant. We were asked to remove rubbish to the disposal nearby before vacating. Notified front desk after clearing it myself and there were no more bin bags. Notified front desk twice during out stay and were told they would have housekeeping bring bin bags and a tea towel which was also missing. Told them at check out that I'd bought bin bags and used the facewashers and handtowel instead. Friendly staff were apologetic but no action.

Only downfall, being a smoker, smoking was not permitted on the balconies as most accommodation we have stayed in, in Melbourne. You had to leave the building completely, which is not real safe for guests at night, by themselves.

Nice little apartment but on a busy street which was quite noisy all night so did not sleep much. Good location close to carlton gardens but outside free tram area. I found it quite expensive but when i booked i had not realised the flower show was on at the same time as the formula 1 racing which might have been a factor. All in all, happy with it and they did provide a nice bottle of wine and snacks which was a nice surprise.

Booked a one bedroom apartment only to be told on check-in it was a COMPACT, the shower recess had very poor drainage which overflowed if you didn't limit the flow, the refrigerator was hidden behind a door which you had to open and close for access. the balcony door could not be locked and the main entrance had to be manually locked every time. would not recommend for the price.

The 2 bedroom and 2 bathroom apartment was perfect for our needs. Very well appointed fixtures and pretty quiet on the whole. So close to Lygon street which offers a huge range of dining options. IGA & convenience stores close by. Public transport basically at your doorstep but is also easy walking distance to the CBD.

I personally had a very good experience here in the last 3 nights and would visit again. Few issues with my bathroom that were quietly sorted out without fuss. Girls at reception were excellent, and thanks to Selina for the phone charger. I would stay there again - close to some good restaurants ie Lygon street.

The hotel is nice and the staff really friendly and accommodating. However don't be fooled by the view presented on the hotel's main advert - our room looked directly into the student accommodation opposite and we had to walk out onto the balcony to see the sky. There was zero privacy with the blinds open and there was such a lack of natural light in the room it really didn't make much difference whether it was night or day outside. It is quite strange waking up in the morning to total darkness!

The Eminence Apartments by CLLIX was a fantastic stay. Very close to a tram stop, so it is easy to get around the city. It was centrally located so we could visit many different areas throughout Melbourne. The apartment interiors are older but had everything you need. The in apartment laundry was fantastic!

No view from room, but the view from the roof is fantastic. Some street noise (and strange noises they were, often sounds of yelling that I couldn't hear at all when I went outside), but the bed is actually a fair distance from the window compared to most hotels so it didn't keep me awake. The TV was a little damaged but not so much I couldn't watch it.
Cleanliness was very good, and washer and dryer in room worked great. Actually I have to say that overall this was one of the nicer rooms I've ever stayed in.

Absolutely loved our recent 4 night stay! Very central and walking distance to everything we wanted to see. The apartment itself was easy to checkin and out leaving at 4am. Everything you would need was provided for in the room itself, and it was top marks for cleanliness. If I was to pick anything that was missing, it was an exhaust fan in the bathroom however didn’t affect our stay in the slightless, just noticed it missing. If we were ever to return to Melbourne again I would rebook here absolutely and will be recommending to friends and family! Perfect!

Our stay at Arise was very pleasant. From the time we arrived the front desk attendants were prompt and courteous. The room itself was spacious and the amenities in the room like gas stove top and washing machine/dryer helped a great deal. The view on level 3 was ok. The view from the rooftop viewing deck more than made up for this however only accessible until 9pm. The place itself is very central and a short walk to shops and cafes.
