The room needed more kitchen utensils. I booked an apartment hoping to cook breakfast and maybe a few dinners. However there was only 1 pair of tongs, a wooden spoon, 1 small pan, 1 small pot, cups and very minimal cutlery. Definitely needed bowls for salad, a potato peeler, a strainer and an oven dish. It's pointless having an oven and stove if there is nothing to bake or cook with. I could tell that the room had been cleaned however it needs to be more thorough. The kettle was really dirty and the bathroom cupboards hadn't been wiped as there was dust and hair on the shelves. The shower also had mould. Would have been nice to have the car park closer to the hotel. Loved that it was close to the shops and food stores.

The room was clean and well resourced (heating, TV, washing machine, oven, hob). The room had opening windows which was welcome (as so many properties of similar ilk don't have opening windows now). The interaction with staff was good.

The room itself was quite small and sparsely furnished but tastefully done.
It was not a practical set up however in a number of respects. There were no instructions to virtually anything within the room and it took quite some time to work out how to use the oven's various settings (I had to Google it), how to open the cupboards (required to press open rather than pull open), how to use to bathroom taps (see below) and to locate the utensils to assist with cooking. The utensils were ultimately found in an upper cupboard and which when pulled out resulted in a knife falling out of a receptacle (and which could be a potential risk). Similarly both the toaster and kettle were in upper cupboards - the toaster being unreachable even when I stood on a chair. The washing machine was a welcome addition but the clothes drying rack was super small and not able to hold many clothing items.
The shower was difficult to fathom as the tap function seemed to be the exact opposite to what was displayed on the tap i,e, hot to one side and cold to the other.
It was an overall enjoyable stay but a more practical approach is needed in relation to the property's resources.

We had a great stay here. It is in a great location with easy access to everything downtown. Check in was very easy with a perfect parking option. The apartment was clean and maintained. It is not very spacious and is a bit small, but it served us perfectly for a one night stay in Melbourne downtown.

The other lift broke down on our first day which meant we couldn’t access our room on the 37th floor for 2 hours. With so many rooms and high floors it is not acceptable to only have 1 lift in order With other tenants telling us the second lift had broken down 3 times in recent weeks.

Reception for this property is actually the owners kitchen and the luggage storage is in a (none too tidy) bedroom. Access to the building requires you to call on a punch pad outside - reception may or may not answer.
Staff were not all that friendly nor helpful to our party and others we met.

1: the sink was draining extremely slow we had to brush our teeth over kitchen's sink.
2: the shower was draining properly the first day and was totally blocked the 2nd day. The water was everywhere in the bathroom outside the show place.
The manager was luckily acted in a timely manner to fix both issues.

Arrived at the property to be buzzed up to 'reception' which was just a dodgy hotel room with a desk in it. given our room key that was almost impossible to unlock the door to get in, couldn't lock the door from the inside which we contacted reception to ask them to fix, and they stated they would get housekeeping to fix it the next day. No one fixed the lock and the next day we were unable to get into our room as the key wouldn't open the door for 4 hours, we were stuck out on the street until the early hours of the morning until we finally unlocked it (after almost 4 hours of trying to open the door) attempted to contact the staff with no answer. Got inside and the door wouldn't lock from the inside again, we spent 2 nights in a room that wouldn't lock. We told the manager the next day about the lock who disregarded our problems and was refusing to give us a refund and argued with us for 30 minutes in front of the room about why it was our fault that we couldn't work the key and that he believed it was safe for the door not to lock because they have a fob system in the lifts. The manager's first language was Chinese and he couldn't speak hardly any English and was talking to his staff in another language in front of us. We had to argue with this man for over 30 minutes and get wotif.com involved to get a refund, after all this, the manager was trying to deceive us into leaving before they refunded us. Do not stay here whatsoever book somewhere reputable! this is not a hotel

One of the cheapest for the location. We booked the two bedroom apartment which was great. The rooms are quite small - we had planned to set up a portacot but found it wasn’t going to fit in the room. There is a bit of wear and tear in the place, it’s not pristine but has everything you would want (kitchenette with fridge, nice bathroom with soap etc. TV) and location is great and quiet. Communication around check in was very good and clear.

Foyer smelt of garbage. Unit was filthy. Floors were sticky and looked like they had not been cleaned in ages. Dirty sticky handprints on windows, microwave and table. Clearly nit cleaned properly between guests which is a worry with COVID. Glad we only booked one night here. Would not recomend.

I am soooo grateful for this accomodation. Smack in the middle of Melbourne and close to everything you do and dont need. The views from the room were unexpected and mind blowingly amazing! The communication and friendliness of the staff was exceptional and I cannot thank them enough for everything. There are things that are outside of their control that was less desirable but the pros far outweighed the trivial cons.They made my trip memorable and I will definitely stay with them again!

One week booking for daughter in Melb for work. Property well below your standards and did not meet standards guaranteed under Australian consumer law. Allocated room had a strong smell from the bathroom. Described it as an open drain/sewer, and it may well have been sewer gas. I texted the managers and asked to either fix the problem or find a new room. They offered a new room. When she arrived from work she was told to pack all her things and bring them to reception where she could get the new room key. No assistance was offered. This would have meant repacking a 25kg suitcase and groceries. Eventually agreed to give her the key instead and she made many trips to transfer unassisted.

Fantastic location just a few mins walk to Melbourne Central. Well priced for location, standard and all the amenities required. Although property does not offer onsite parking, they offered to pre book with nearby carpark at a very reasonable price. Overall a great stay and would definitely book again.
