Unfortunately, we only stayed at Imagine Lighthouse for one night. When we entered our apartment the carpets were stained, the doors were marked and the room was nothing like the pictures. We went back to reception and explained that we were dissatisfied. We then were shown another apartment, though this was small and dark. We were given a third option on a higher floor. The room was still run down, though by this stage we just wanted to rest. We agreed to stay one night and the reception explained that we needed to inform Expedia to get a refund. That night as I was drying my hair the hairdryer fuse blew in my hands! We also experienced the noise of the building structure screeching in the wind. I heard other customers complain about the room feeling like it was rocking also. Not a great experience and will not recommend this hotel to others.

I was told that I will get my pre authorization deposit back within 2 days of checking out of the hotel but when I wrote to enquire about the deposit after a week of not receiving it, was then told that I would receive it in 21 working days!!! It took them 30 seconds to charge my \" international\" credit card!!

This place the rooms are beautiful, comfortable, everything you need, fully equipped kitchen with full size fridge freezer, washing machine and dryer in your room. Lovely balcony. Lovely staff that were friendly, helpful and so bright as you walk in, lovley smiles and welcoming attitude. Wonderful location with shops all around in walking distance, car park 3 mins walk. Highly reccomend this place and will absolutely be back.

The property was very close to many public transport options. It was a 2 min walk to the Queen Victoria Markets and lots of other mini supermarkets and food options.
I had been put on the top floor and my view was excellent.
I did not cook so cannot comment on the cooking appliances. I used the fridge and microwave only. The fridge was full sized and would have been good for a longer stay.

The room wasn’t very clean, strangers toenails all over the bathroom floor. Every item of furniture was damaged, huge stains on the carpet. The housekeeping was poor, after they had been through the room smelly strongly like body odour. The toilet paper they left us was mouldy. The hotel is extremely loud at night, the windows are paper thin so can hear everything. Woken up multiple nights to sirens. The room was also advertised to have a dryer, but it didn’t. Wouldn’t return.

The ceiling was creaking from the upstairs neighbours, the balcony door didn’t shut properly and let the cold air in, there were no instructions on how to use the appliances and there was a broken wine glass in the cupboard. Not to mention the weird amount of cutlery? 3 forks but 5 spoons?
The building experienced some plumbing issues which caused the water to be shut off for multiple hours and when it did come back on it smelled of sewage and it was brown! Both sinks, the toilet and the shower were all affected. My partner and I decided to wait it out and return after a few hours to hopefully be able to have a shower yet this issue lasted well into the next day. When we went downstairs to ask, we were simply told “just let it run a few times”. We went upstairs, after already doing this for over 20 min for all the faucets in the room, and proceeded to do it again to still be met with the same brown water.
It was cold, it was poorly communicated, and more importantly it was unhygienic.

The room was clean, highly functional for a young family and the view divine. The kids also loved the pool.

Not bad for the price, however we booked a sky room and got a pretty crap view on level 53, so as others have said be careful. Left a sour taste in mouth so won’t be back. Don’t advertise a lovely view and then give the customer a slight view of the sea surrounded by tall buildings….
The shower leaks all over the bathroom floor and soaks the floor towel, this is not something we want to deal with while on holiday and all it requires is a trim installed on the bottom of the door why is that so hard.
A big issue is also getting access into the building when checking in because it is also residential. The doors will not open automatically for you so you have to call management or wait for someone to enter the doors.
The hotel is located on the outskirts of the cbd but easy access to the tram and shops. It’s 250m from Melbourne central mall, or 1k to the river & Southbank etc.

The rooms were beautiful the mattress was disgusting I thought I’d be nice strip the bed for the cleaner it was covered in blood urine poo stained and other body fluids I was disgusted asked for partial refunded refused so beware what you are sleeping on and to add no mattress protector

Great spot location wise, busy building. Everything close. Markets 5 min walk. China town central Ubers everywhere so eating is easy. The view from the top floors city side amazing, so ask for that. We were on 67 and incredible.

We expected a TV in the main bedroom (there was an aerial port there) but no TV. Just a few little issues like only 3 pieces of cutlery but we were a family of 4, no replacement garbage bags for rubbish a couple of other small things and the noise from the construction at night was annoying. But overall we were happy with our stay and would stay again

We did have a faulty washer dryer combo but the lovely staff took our washing and brought it back once dried and gave us a later checkout.

Great location, 1 block from several tram lines and within the free CBD tram lines. Apartment was well sized, comfortable and very clean. Sofa was too small, it's a 2 seater but small, room needed an additional lounge chair. Washer dryer was almost useless, 5 hours drying a half load and still not fully dry. Don't rely on this if you need it. Also, hilariously the washer plug socket was wired to the bathroom light. So you had to leave the bathroom light on to keep the washer running.

Absolutely brilliant property. Loved our stay. Would definitely recommend upgrading to a sky apartment. My only issue was I messaged before we arrived to ask about parking but didn't get any reply. Once we arrived turned out where we parked was the same place we can get the discount through the hotel.

I love the standard one bedroom apartment we were on level 3.we stayed in.it was very modern had all the amenities you want,so close to do shopping close to all eateries.the only thng is I didn't like was having a 50 level room as we were scared of height and our head were spinning due to being so high up.not recommend if you are scared of heights but I recommend much lower level.the receptionist accommodated us well in the end amazing

No more than we expected. A pretty standard apartment hotel. The room had everything we needed. Like most apartments hotels all facilities are shared with tenants. The bedroom was very noisy - it sounded like we were right near a aircon vent. The pool and spa area were good. Good location. Good city view. There is no onsite parking. $35 per day (with discount) a block away.

The smell in the lobby and lift shaft was enough to make you vomit. Management blamed a garbage chute issue but it took 3 days to fix it. I expect a refund for at least two nights and will be exploring that further.

The view was AMAZING which is why we booked this apartment. The bed and bedding were clean and very comfortable. The bathroom although quite new was not maintained well (very dirty seals around the shower, bottom of bathroom door was warped/flood damaged). Carpet in the main room was 'crunchy' underfoot (from previous tenant soiling / not being cleaned for a long time - quite gross to walk on). There were a lot of small bugs/cockroaches found running around in the kitchen area.

No clothes drying racks provided for towels / sensitive clothes in rooms.
Pool is great, but floor around it is VERY slippery when wet - a non slip solution might be needed as I slipped and also witnessed multiple people slip and fall on both occasions we visited the pool, signage saying floor is slippery unfortunately doesn’t *prevent* it being a very slippery surface when wet.

We stayed at an 3 bedroom sky apartment and I’m disappointed that the property hasn’t been maintained well. First impression was that the property was much much smaller than the pictures. Appliances and furnitures were very old and worn. Edges on the dishwasher were peeling off. The button on dryer was cracked. There were mould and grease between the tiles in the ensuite shower. Very dirty inside the laundry space and there was a layer of dust on the washer. House keeping was also sub-standard. The cleaners left empty toilet roll on the holder and didn’t replace with new toilet roll. They did replace fresh towels, made the bed and emptied the rubbish and that was all.

Overall, the stay was very average and would not be booking this place again.

Room mostly quiet aside from loadly banging spring doors closing at all hours. Wasn't notified that the fitness centre was unavailable at time of booking, and this along with the sauna was a key booking decision for me. Not really impressed.

People in the room next door playing music loudly 3 nights in a row between midnight-6am, made it hard to stay asleep, but that’s not the accommodation’s fault. Someone came by on the third night and told them to turn it down, which they did.

Lots of cupboards – but no accessible shelves in most storage space. We ended up with clothes scattered across the floor. A number of potentially useful spaces were too high for the average guest; and the microwave (located well above the sink) was potentially very dangerous

The staff at reception were extremely kind, and answered all of my questions. They gave me great recommendations on what to see, what to do, where to eat.
My only qualm about staying so high up is the elevator takes a while, but that is to be expected when staying right at the top.

At check in we were told to wait as our room wasn’t ready yet. The man at the desk said he’d call us back over when the room was ready but we waited an hour and a half and heard nothing from him after he watched us just sit there in the lobby. Once I went to the desk and asked for an update I find out that the room had been ready for the whole time and he just never called us over or updated us like he said he would. The room had blood stains on the couch and curtains which I cleaned off myself. The floor we were placed on smelt really bad and it continued to smell the whole time.
Other than that we enjoyed our stay. The spa and pool were perfect and we enjoyed the view from our room.
