It is okay but better to clean carpets between guests. I stayed there because of need to get taxi at 4 a.m and 2 big cases. So go down at 4 with desk unattended and note with mobile number to call. I ring cab and nearby door opens with sleepy young guy coming out. Never said a word and l managed as best l could. Can do better?

The location and room were really good and we had a comfortable stay. Additionally the gym and laundry facilities are really handy. The cafe / restaurant next door was also really convenient for food.
The only detractor for me is the balcony doesn’t feel very inviting as it has metal bars, which is understandable for safety.

The daily servicing of the room was poor, bed was roughly piled up and tucked in, clean towels just placed in a pile on the shelf in the bathroom. The bathroom also didn’t have anywhere to hang up wet towels, just a hook off the back of the door where they wouldn’t dry.

Everything was great, except the pillows. My wife and I both slept directly on the mattress, they were just so lumpy. All hotels should just buy latex. The best!!

Unfortunately the housekeeping team let the hotel down on this occasion. We had to ask a couple of times for toilet paper, which was not replenished daily, as well as other toiletries just left thrown under the counter.

I staggered in after a 23+ hour journey and had my requested early check-in honored which made all the difference. Room was modern, clean, and well-appointed with a comfortable bed and a great view of Melbourne from the balcony. I appreciate the room would be fantastic from a wheelchair-accessible point of view, but the shower water pressure was awful and didn't seem to drain very well (typically overflowed into the drain in the middle of the bathroom). Just using the bathroom sink at the same time made the shower pressure drop.

We were underwhelmed and disappointed with how many good reviews we'd seen and based our booking on. The shower and basin were mouldy (and water pressure low), and the walls in the room were very marked up. Our room wasn't serviced the first day so no consumables were topped up--we requested some milk and towels but only received the towels. On the second day they only left us one towel despite there being two of us so again had to request towels, and clearly did no cleaning as there was still hair in the shower and basin and our dirty mugs were not replaced/cleaned (and there were no facilities for us to wash them in our room). Just overall felt like a lack of attention to detail and excellence. On the plus side the bed was comfortable and the linens were good.

A standout of the experience here is the super-friendly service. The rooms are not huge but bright and comfortable. Air conditioning is effective without being noisy, there are no bright LEDs to disrupt sleep, and there are powerpoints and USB charging outlets where you need them. Beds are cozy but the mattress in Rm 1405 was sagging pretty badly which made it hard to get comfortable. Apart from that, one thing I would have appreciated is a cutlery set.
