The house keeping staff need to be more attentive to put appropriate personal hygiene items.

A/C and ventilation in the bathroom was really noisy make it hard to sleep.

An ok 3 star hotel. Room was comfy but dated. Breakfast quality needs a bit of improvement, delays with replenishing. Very tight space when full, expect to keep bumping into people. I stay in a lot of hotels for work and leisure and this is the first hotel that have requested to physically check my room before returning the deposit. My wife and I are in our 40’s, we’re not teenagers. Very strange! Check in was good. Pool was being renovated so unable to use and no alternative option on offer

I asked for help removing my bags, from the floor to the elevator, and furthermore I had to wield them myself, they were quite heavy.

The room was enjoyable, however I had to do this myself which was abit challenging.

I had the driver honking at me too, which was abit full on, transitionally I enjoy a smooth process. If staying again, I do hope that someone can assist with my travel goods

If I could give this hotel more stars, I would! We had such a wonderful stay here. We got our rooms for a great rate per night. Staff let us check in a few hours early which was wonderful! All of the staff were friendly and courteous.
The hotel is in an excellent location.
Rooms were clean and a great size.

I had a fabulous stay at the Grand Chancellor Hotel Melbourne. The room was spotless and very well maintained, the bed was extremely comfortable, and the service was truly exceptional. Staff were friendly, professional, and always happy to help, which made the stay even more enjoyable. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Melbourne.

First time at this hotel and I enjoyed my time. Great position. Easy to walk most places I want to go and close to tram for those hot days when you’d rather not walk. Staff were helpful and friendly. Amenities- restaurants and bars are reasonably priced and have a welcoming feel. Good hours too.

I didn't have a chance to try breakfast so can't comment. The room was clean and bed very comfortable, nice modern/updated bathroom with rain shower, however you wouldn't want to be taller than 6ft otherwise you wouldn't fit under the shower. There was a very loud hum from the airconditioner on & off throughout the night and due to the proximity of the building next door, my allocated room had very little natural light.

This hotel offers reasonable value for money. The staff were courteous and helpful and the room was pleasant. The design of the bathroom allowed water to splash on the floor and having to step up into a rather narrow shower may cause difficulty for some.

Guest Service agent Joan was brilliant when I checked in. This set the tone for the stay. Our room was a lovely corner room with views and a great rainwater showerhead. The hotel was in a great location where we were able to potter over to Chinatown for dinner.

check in was very efficient,GEECHAI, was fantastic, from there it all went downhill. Tried the restaurant food, it was not cooked and terrible. Tried the same dish for room service, silly us, not cooked & terrible. Forgot to book for breakfast,came down to breakfast room, four people in the room, refused to give me the deal for breakfast, because i had not booked the previous evening, it was empty. Staff need to have training from GEECHAI. $400.00 FOR FRIDAY NIGHT, you need to do much better, we will not be back, unless you lift your game.
