Location and ease of access are the main pros of this hotel. It is situated near the Melbourne Metro, suburban rail as well as trams. One street away is Melbourne Central station and mall.
The room cleanliness was less great. The soft furniture all had stains and were quite dusty, the bed sheets also had stains, and the curtains would dust the room when used.
The staff were friendly and very accommodating, almost making up for the state of our room.

I clocked about 150 days per year in Melbourne CBD. Decided to pay a little bit more this time to try this hotel. Front reception are friendly enough. The room itself is quite small. You can only have one bedside table there with the queen size bed. The other side is buttered up against the wall. There is barely any space to put the luggage, and if you do, you will have to tiptoe around it. The bathroom ticked all the boxes. The location was next to Melbourne Central and easy to get to.

The view from the balcony was really good and I like the beautiful weather so far. For the room is okay as it got all the essential suppliers. For the toilet, I was not very happy as the flush is not that easy to use and the toilet bowel wasn't as good as I expected for a hotel standard.

With street construction in the area, it was difficult for our taxi to get us there but we finally made it- with extra charges though! The room was small but a comfortable bed. Fairly clean but a horrid smell in the bathroom- to which we complained but outside of moving to another room- nothing was done to sort it out. Cleaning staff should always leave two towels/hand towels/face cloths when two guests are using the room. Close to everything we wanted but a bit sub standard for cost.

We are in New Zealand, this was a birthday present from me to my wife and daughter who share a birthday only a few days apart. It was for them the Melbourne experience and a 5 day shopping trip. (yes, I know, I'm brave). Firstly to make it an occasion I rang the receptionist (Kate) on the morning of their arrival and asked whether the hotel could do something \"special\" for their arrival. That eve my wife rang and raved the hotel had presented a bottle of wine and also a personal card from Kate saying Happy Birthday, and enjoy your visit to Melbourne. And people, it's this sort of personal service that makes one hotel stand out from the rest, and this one certainly does. They also raved about the real friendly service from the rest of the staff. They loved their four night stay. We will return!!

You know What? The attention of the counter in helping you with anything you needed. They guided me on places to visit, how and where to buy the \"maki\" card to pay for public transportation, etc. On my way back to the hotel, they asked me how my trip had gone, if I liked where I went, what my plans were for the next day, and if they could help me.
Apart from that, the people of Melbourne—on the street, on the tram, on the train, in the lobby—would see me with a tourist map in my hand and immediately approach me to offer help (young people, adults, seniors, men, women, gays—they all offered help). I'm amazed! In museums, they guide you, recommend where to start, offer information, and in almost all of them, they don't charge! I could go on and on, but that's enough. I'm Mexican, right next to the US border (Tijuana/ San Diego CA.)

Amazing check in staff the lady was lovely and extended our check out time till 12:00pm as we had a concert and would be back late. Lovely room! Clean and very comfortable. Only downside is the night club music going all night but no way is that the hotels fault so if you don’t like hearing doof doof for hours don’t book but still wasn’t a worry.

This was my first trip to Melbourne. I am so glad I came upon the Brady Hotel. It is nestled conveniently in the middle of Melbourne Central. The staff was incredibly nice and helpful to me. They provided me with easy to follow instructions on how to use the key card (for the electricity) and how to adjust the thermostat. The desk clerk took the time to provide me with a map and precise verbal instructions on how to get to access the stores in Melbourne Central. The 2 bedroom, 2 bath room was really cute and had great views of the city skyline. I only wished that they had more media options like Netflix, YouTube, or Prime. The living room furniture was a bit worn down but other than that, the room was clean and tidy. I plan on revisiting the Brady Hotel when I return to Melbourne. It is more than worth the price.

The location is central, though there is a construction site nearby. Thankfully, I was placed on one of the higher levels, so I had a pleasant view.

The staff were friendly and polite, and check-in was smooth. However, I did notice a few maintenance issues during my stay — the curtains had some visible stains, and the bathroom pipes were clogged. I brought these concerns to the attention of the staff, and they assured me they would be addressed immediately.

Despite these minor setbacks, the service was professional, and I appreciated their willingness to resolve the issues promptly.

Location is ideal for theatre and events at Rod Laver. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Tram stops less than a block from Hotel, great options for food in the area, parking is easy to get to and a short walk to Hotel. Supermarket and bottle shop half a block from Hotel, with Melbourne central across the road.
