The room was clean but there was a strong urine smell in the hallway and some in our kitchen area but not the bedroom. It was not there the next day. It is located in an area with many oriental restaurants but no traditional ones.

We have stayed in this hotel twice in two years. Both times, it has been an enjoyable stay. The location is very strategic, close to Queen Victoria market and other parts of the CBD. Rooms are still reasonably priced, and amenities are alright. Not out of the ordinary, but also not a let down. I noticed that the breakfast selection has gotten fewer in my second stay. I understand the current economic climate is impacting all businesses. Overall, decent and no fuss stay for the price.

The staff were all very friendly. However, the hotel needs some work and service improvements.

The breakfast was average and found the coffee really bad. Melbourne is famous for its coffee culture and the hotel didn’t live for the standards of the city. The coffee machine in the breakfast room doesn’t make god coffee.

The rooms are not clean daily but every other day. They do the bare minimum when cleaning the rooms (only do the beds!) - I found the floor in my room and the toilet still dirty during the 5 days I was in the hotel. Also, they didn’t collect the dirty cups and top up the coffee amenities. The cleaning was very poor!

The room was ok - a bit dated furniture but the bed was comfortable.

During checkin, I booked the hotel parking(basement), but the staff guy did not tell us that there was no lift from the car park straight till the floor we were on. If he did, we could have taken out our luggage at the reception and not have to carry our heavy luggage 2 flight of stairs.
The room was extremely dark and had no sun light at all !! The building seemed covered from all angles so no sun light could come in. Very poor experience

Room and staff were fine - I damaged my car trying to get out of the car park which is too narrow for bigger vehicles. Signs are not enough - either fix the opening, warn guests before they arrive or attempt to drive down there or don't offer car parking at all. I will need to make an insurance claim now to fix my car.

We were located on a floor with the laundry facilities which worked out perfect for us with young children. The beds on the rooms were awesome, very soft and much needed after a day of exploring. The hotel is older and would benefit from a few updates to the blinds, and railing in the shower as it was quite slippery. Being an appartment having a knife to cut fruit etc and a few condiments such as jams would encourage the use of the kitchette more also. One comment from another was the wish that house keeping vaccummed the floors whist servicing as they were not done during our extended stay. Overall our stay was met with accomodation and super friendly staff. Would highly recommend for the location and customer service.

Multiple times the reception area was filled with rubbish from people leaving it at the tables. not cleaned up throughout the day. cleaners came ever second day to rooms which was no issue, but felt they didnt really clean, only replaced towels and made beds. left bag of rubbish behind.

5 of us were booked for the 2 bedroom option with kitchen. Requested a rollaway and happy to pay for it. Got told once there no rollaways exist despite being advertised; NOT A SINGLE utensil to cook with. WHY OFFER A KITCHEN??. A hot top to cook on with a pan but nothing to stir with. insufficient plates/bowls/silverware. Just random numbers of them. Lazy housekeeping. No dishcloth. One ketchup sized package of detergent. No blankets as it was winter. Sofa bed was awful, as expected hence asking for a rollaway.
The evening staff were great helping source the basic things that should have been in there. But as they are also having to check people in it was 45mins for this and 45 mins for that. They really tried but if housekeeping had done their job as a team this wouldn’t have happened. Frustrating when you’re tired and travelling.
Overall the whole place looks like a GLORIFIED BACKPACKERS or HOSTEL! Grubby. And the photo of breakfast is not this hotel. It’s actually an old bar. Looked like a decent array but has old casino bar vibes. Gross.

Poor quality apartment. The photos are deceptive. The 1-bedroom apartment is very small. Parking is terrible and very cramped; if you have a big car, good luck fitting it. No wonder it was cheaper than other properties in Melbourne CBD. The only positive aspect is its location near Queen Victoria Market.

The hotel is conveniently located however the place needs a bit of work.
Our room had carpet pulling up to the main room. There was no tea towel to dry dishes and no air conditioning or fan for the room so we couldn’t change the rooms temperature.
Also don’t bring a large car to the carpark. It’s a horribly designed carpark and very hard to get in and out of.
