I had a pleasant stay at Mantra Melbourne Epping. The room was nice and clean, and the shower was spacious. The location is convenient, with most places I wanted to visit within a 30-40 minutes drive. The staff were friendly and courteous, which made the stay even better.

Cloud of smokers to walk through at check in was a poor welcome. Person on the desk was on a speaker phone call unrelated to hotel duties. Didn’t hang up or silence the call. Rushed through the check in and was quickly back to giggling on the phone call. This person was unfocused and appeared bitter to be doing the job. Fake smile and unfriendly. Not ideal for hotel front of house.

Great new property. Staff and service great, went to the republic tavern onsite and was excellent, only issue we had was the key kept losing it program and we had to get it reprogrammed 4 times in 3 days and housekeeping removed out second key from the power socket, which was a pain

The rooms were nice and clean, the hotel is very well presented as well as staff. Only issue is. they don't have a fridge in the room and it's only a cooler that doesn't really cool anything. Contacted front desk a few times to have it changed to a working cooler but Never happen within a weeks stay there. But was offered bucket of ice instead but we needed a fridge as it was hot weather and to put our drinks in. That was the only disappointment from our stay they should look into that to make it more of a pleasant stay for people. The staff are excellent and hotel is spacious and very clean.

Excellent! The room was exceptionally clean, spacious & comfortable with nice decor a well organised kitchen area & great shower. The bed was softish but very comfy & the room was very quiet. We booked for 3 guests but no towel or bedding was provided for the foldout couch but we had some as we weren’t sure & were arriving late. Overall we really enjoyed our stay here & would definitely book again.

Everything was good, but the parking prices are shocking. On my first night, I was charged $25, which should have been $10 per night, even if I was staying at the Hotel. I think they should reassess this, it doesn't make sense. This will be my last time at the Mantra; the experience isn't the same.

Comfort, Convenience, and Great Food!

In preparation for moving interstate we needed a place to stay near by and this fit the bill beyond our expectations.

It was clean, quiet and has everything we needed, not to mention a super yummy pub downstairs (ordered a lot of yummy food from there)! Room was super clean, shower AMAZING, and bed was comfy.

One thing that was different (as I have visited the area before) was now you have to pay for parking, but if you’re staying a night or two it’s pretty reasonable (first night is free if you sign up to be a member, then $10 a day after).

I would highly recommend a stay!

Great place though but a very important stuff is missing : the room have no microwave. When I asked, I was told by front desk, to bring whatever I need to heat up, down to the reception, where there’s a single microwave for all guests to use.
Reminded me of my student days of backpacking.

It was amazing hotel was great, only downfall was trying to get a towel I spoke to three people at different times from 7-9 and they kept saying different reasons, my experience with hotels is the reception will usually bring towels up if housekeeping is not available but apart from this hotel was one of my top mantras I’ve stayed at, buffet breakfast was really good too, definitely recommend this hotel for sure

It was amazing, great location, the breakfast buffet was amazing, only downfall was I had asked for towels at 7:30 the first girl said okay, next man said housekeeping hadn’t started that was 8am, then at 8:30 the third person I spoke to said they weren’t open till 9am but I’ve stayed at many hotels in my lifetime to know reception can definitely drop off towels! Apart from that my overall stay was really good and would definitely stay here again

Good parking and breakfast but not clean

I want to start with the postives! The buffet breakfast was on point like the variety of food for breakfast! The parking was amazing too plenty of parking.

I had several issues with the room cleaning not done properly examples were dirty cups were still there when we got back as well as a food tray from the night before was left in front of our room! Yes you read that right...
The second issue was the key cards kept glitching and we got locked out about three times in our 5 day stay.

In additional to the above the level of friendliness was a luke warm at best. Given we drove from Sydney for birthday celebration it was overall disappointing experience.

We found the hotel to have very comfortable beds. We chose the hotel for room service but we didn’t have our phones and so I was told I’d have to walk downstairs at night to go the the bar and order. It was in full nightclub mode and I couldn’t hear much. Bartender was great BUT reception could have dealt with it by saying they’d get us a menu. We’d just returned from a taxing hospital visit and didn’t need to be ‘dismissed’ by reception staff.
Too many other options for accomodation for staff to handle it this way.

24th November when I checked out , 2 admin guy were very rude. I asked for the invoice under my company firstly he refused to do it. And started showing me attitude and misbehavior. I’m a regular customer there and he says we don’t need to see you again and also refused to give me his name. It’s not acceptable I’m going to write on their google page and feedback. They need to choose their staff carefully. Admin people are the face of the company. I’ll tell all my employees not to use their service anymore. It’s a shame such a nice hotel that has terrible staff. He was bullying. I was about to call the police but I was in rush so I left. İ will take further action and call their directors.
