By all information on the wotif site & the Motels website this motel had a working restaurant & bar. This was a main reason for booking this location. When we arrived we were advised that these were closed for Renovation & looked to have been for quite a while. This should be noted on the booking site. Full price is still charged. Other than that the Room was OK, except for a disabled smoke alarm.

I honestly thought I was somewhere in a 3rd world country. Night manager did not have any customer service experience but did have bad customer service.

I will never stay at this place and I wish I can get a refund for that bad night and health issues I had to deal with mothballs smell at the reception and in my room and a noisy fridge with a jug of water ( not bottle water) that has been in the fridge for quiet sometime.

First thing I notice is the Smell, and the noise from the main road. Then the bed sheet was not clean at all. You can literally hear the talking of next door, that tells you how bad is the sound barrier. Plus extremely rude staffs.

The room itself was fine. I understood at the time of booking that there would be odour from the storm water drain adjacent. If you managed the air conditioning properly, the odour was excluded from the room. However, someone had had a decent go at the bathroom door, meaning the closure mechanism was not functional. To keep the door closed whilst you were in the room meant keeping your foot against the door, which was a bit difficult whilst in the shower, but manageable, with concentration, whilst using the toilet!

I picked this place because of it's location to my job, it's really not close to anything except another hotel and bistro across the road. That said, this is one of the better BW motels. It's had a refurbishment with a nice fresh room. The bathroom looked good but the drain stunk a little. The bed was comfy and the service was quick and easy.

After paying the $170 for one night they expected us to pay a $150 bond fee deposit which was NEVER mentioned previously. Also, very little cutlery. If you choose to go there, expect to have to make two seperate payments.

I woke to find a man in my room. i have no idea how he entered but i assure you he was ordered to leave .
i am 1.9 metres tall and 120kg so had not trouble evicting him but it stands as a warning to keep security up to date. The hotel reception did not comment when i advised them of the visit.

The staff member was rude and unhelpful, the room that we were allocated was taken by another couple, we were then put in a very basic room rundown and the next morning two people were taking ICE in the car parked next to us. For both nights people were drinking and screaming in the parking lots. until around 11 pm. There were German Shepard's on the grounds protecting the place. This is adequate lodging. We stayed for one night after we arrived at Melbourne Airport. There isn't much around and it's not in a walkable area as there is a busy road. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. We had dinner at the motel and it was fine but not great.

We went for breakfast the next morning expecting a basic continental selection. The owners came in the the dinning area to sit down for their own breakfast. It was a traditional noodle soup with egg, vegetables and a broth. They offered us some and it was delicious. It was so lovely for them to go out of their way and offer us something a little different. When checking out and paying for our breakfast no extra charge....
