Title: A Disappointing Stay at Azuline Miramantis Hotel in Ibiza

Our stay at Azuline Miramantis Hotel in Ibiza was disappointing from the moment we arrived. The facility was old and unclean, a stark contrast to the polished images in the promotional materials. We waited four hours for our room to be cleaned, only to receive a standard room instead of the sea view room we had booked. The room had severe drainage problems in both the shower and sink, creating an unsanitary situation that persisted throughout our stay despite staff attempts to fix it.

The all-inclusive wristbands were pointless, as we were repeatedly asked to show tokens for food and drinks. The pool hours were shorter than advertised, being open from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. instead of 8 a.m. to 10 p.m., which was inconvenient. The hotel's dress code enforcement was inconsistent, with my cousin being barred from the dining area for wearing a one-piece bathing suit with pants.

Cleanliness was a major issue, with plates and bowls in the dining area often having food remnants stuck on them.

Overall, Azuline Miramantis Hotel failed to meet basic standards of cleanliness and service, making for an extremely disappointing stay.

absolutely spectacular! the food is exceptional. don’t listen to these negative reviews! Lots of british so be careful; the open bar is awesome, always tip! Such a great place; had a blast! spent most of time away from busy pool, and laid out on my deck. what’s there not too like, go super early to the buffets, as you can imagine the ‘cruise’ type folks that are vultures when their bellies are calling. Again British all over—- don’t be like the british, make sure you tip your bartenders

This is the worst hotel I have stayed in ever. I didn’t get value for my money, I feel like I was robbed. No refrigerator, no intercom, no coffee machine. The air condition was not working I had to work all the way to the reception to complain because they was no phone to call. Had issues with my room key and I had to go back again to get it fixed. I was worried because if I get into any trouble I can’t reach anyone to help. Was mess of a hotel.

The manager of the hotel is a very nice person and the bartenders as well. However, the reception staff are very unprofessional. At least with me they weren't that nice. I ask to make a reservation for a taxi, because i need it to go to the airport and the guy told me \"you have to go outside and wait for one\". Really? I went outside and stay there waiting for a taxi for about 30m. The food are really good thoe, but they need to work more on customer service.

The hotel is 2 buildings the first one is right on the bay overlooking the sea , the water taxi stops right outside to take you to SAN Antonio, perfect!
For 3 star the food was good and the drinks were very good too.
Our only complaint was the staff were not very friendly and that’s everyone we came across from the bar staff to reception, just rude .

Myself and daughter had a lovely weeks holiday here.We stayed in the Mar 1 which I understand from other guests was of higher standard than the 2.We arrived early hours and were put in a room on 1st floor which was by stairs & lift.I approached reception to see if could change as a little noisy.It wasn't a problem & moved us to quieter room which overlooked bay.Food was absolutely fine for a 3 star hotel,quite varied.All the entertainers worked hard throughout the day & found all staff very friendly.
The only thing I can say on a negative point is evening entertainment or lack of it.
Overall I would recommend this hotel

Fantastic holiday . Room let it down.

Stay was fantastic. Hotel let me down by ignoring my email and request to be situated in Amantis 1. Especially as I was a returning guest yet again. When I asked at the check in desk I was bluntly told that the block was fully booked and that I was to stay over the road where all the club 18-30's stay. The young guests either side of me were very load all NIGHT. Even when I informed them I had booked the room months ago and even emailed them my request. The tv was tiny. The view was straight over the noisy entertainment stage. The beds were tiny. The pillow was small and no extra pillows in the room. However this did not spoil my great holiday there.

i rated this hotel as average as when we stayed it was full of over 65 spanish people making us feel like we are a Saga holiday. there was nothing for us as british family tourist to participate in as the youngest family member was 12and it was unsuitable for a child to hang around adult drinkers, the entertainment was bingo in spanish. in the end we paid for wifi and were in bed by 9.30pm due to lack of entertainment as it wasnt geared for english tourist unless you were fluent in spanish songs. the breakfast was basic and we did not bother getting up for it even though we were half board, there were plenty of places to eat.

Nice hotel next to the sea with resturante overloo

Got airport and they lost my luggage. No staff in airport. Airport was abandoned..
Bank open next week so had to hitch hike due to having english pounds only.
Got hotel late due to a 10km walk and could'nt find it because no people anywhere to ask. and got put in a back room. Until 2pm next day.
Lovely buffet with many foods available.in resturante overlooking the sea and bay..
Only 1 staff speaks english.
Every single shop pub, club and cafe closed until may/june.
A total Ghost town. All boarded up.
No excursions. No sports. No anything.!
Very upset, bored and lonely..
no one speaks any english.
Had no clothes due to my suitcase being lost in london..
Was my birthday aswell..
why did'nt you say any of this to me.? That it was of season and no where is open and there would be nothing to do.?
Birthday holiday from hell.!
Iv been an expedia member for years aswell..?

Service from reception was mixed, food, good selection but not hot enough, drinks, good selection but very cheap brands, €10 a day to get branded, rooms, cleaned daily, only some rooms refurbished others dated, parking a problem, only one lift, no free wifi!!!, no key card room entry but need a card for restaurant, overall just ok but nothing memorable.

Great hotel, close to the beach

Lovely accommodating staff that were always friendly and willing to help. Clean room, restaurant, pool area etc. Good variety of food, wasn't a single meal where either of us went hungry, and with the great snack bar aswell we were very happy. Will definitely be using Azuline hotels in the future!

Didn't Even Happen! Over booked us.

We booked this hotel for my partner's 30th birthday as a surprise. Upon arrival they were fully booked for me and my partner and did't even have record of the other two party's who arrived later. They moved me and my partner into a two start hotel 1 mile down the road from this hotel and upon the other's arrival it turned out they had found a room for them... Where was ours? From here we were separated. The night staff were rude and uncooperative and all they would say is \"these things happen.\" The night duty guard was threatening/scary and physically grabbed me by the arm after the day staff had already told me that we could use the pool and restaurant/bar facilities as we had booked and paid for that hotel but it was their fault they had moved us. As a 24 year old woman I found this behaviour shocking and disgusting. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. They are unorganised , uncooperative and totally unprofessional. I certainly shall not be returning.

Great place for a girls holiday

Stayed here for 3 nights for a girls holiday we were put in Mar Amantis 2. Pool was really good loads of room and a fair sun loungers although we stayed in September but do think the hotel was full. Good selection of food available for all inclusive and beer and sprit ok. You can go premier and pay an extra €10 a day for \"top shelf\" spirts and beers. Staff friendly and helpful. Rooms serviced each day overall a good stay

The no guests allowed in the room was a problem as I was travelling with friends. Room was very average. Breakfast was good, Staff were OK. Pool area is nice, short 10 min walk to the centre of San Antonio, or 20 mins to Cafe Del Mar..

Overbooked

Upon arriving at the hotel we found out it was overbooked and they placed in another hotel nearby. Which is fine. But the roads are not made for suit cases and we were to stay at this other hotel for 1 of our 3 nights, which meant we had to check out and drag our bags back to the first hotel.

The hotel did compensate us b upgrading out half board to all inclusive.

The bed was hard as a rock in both hotels.

You need to pay/leave a deposit for: TV remote, air conditioner remote, hair dryer, beach towels etc.

The hotel was a good standard friendly staff etc i stayed with a friend of mine it is good if you want to be away from the main west end of San Antonio but still close enough to go out and party as it was a 15 min walk there or a 7 euro taxi also there are a few bars next to the hotel and others on the nice walk to the west end in all a good hotel base as was all inclusive to drink before heading out as can be expensive mainly on the big clubs

Amazing Holiday

This was my second stay at this hotel. I loved it the first time and this time it was even better. Remember you have to take into account the price you pay for this hotel and considering that i rate this hotel highly. Food: Excellent, plenty of choice, salads, meat (fresh from a grill), potatoes and plenty for the kids like chips and nuggets etc. Also you have the cafe style restaurant where you can get burgers pizzas toasties and chips all day. As for the drinks they are always cold, unlike other all ins. i have stayed at and you get nice measures. Entertainment is average but as the price for this hotel is very reasonable you can afford to go to some of the local bars which are very good. I would recommend this hotel to families, couples and youngsters!

We chose this hotel because it was close to Cala conte beach. The dock is right outside and boats run regularly to nearby beaches and San Antonio. The pool is good but you have to there early to get yourself a lounger. Rooms were cleaned often and to a good standard. Overall, we were both very happy with our stay.

Good Experience at a Good Price

Stayed in this hotel during the closing parties in Ibiza. The hotel was booked solid every night but we managed to get a room for a week last minute.

The hotel is broken up into two parts. One thats right on the water and one thats right across the street. Our room was across the street which wasn't so bad (always would be nice to have an oceanview though).

The Room: Very clean. Recently remodeled or repainted. Basic amenities. Nothing fancy but it worked.

Service: Hotel stay were friendly and helpful (seemed knowledgeable and were able to answer most if not all our questions).

Food: We ended up doing full board. Translation: Includes three meals (no alcohol). Did not decide to upgrade to all-inclusive (includes free alcohol and snacks throughout the day). Small fee for upgrade if desired. The food it itself was decent. They had a good variety for everyone but nothing to write home about.

Location: The hotel is right on the water with a small beach nearby. There are pools in both buildings. The nicer pool overlooks the water with a decent amount of lounge chairs. There were a few bars and clubs nearby (some attached to other resorts), but to get to San Antonio (the nearby city) you needed to walk about 20 mins or take a water taxis (2.5 euros/arrives every 30 mins or so).

All in all this hotel worked out perfectly for our needs for a nice week-long vacation.

Ich war zum zweiten Mal im Mar Amantis und kann es nur empfehlen. Das Hotel ist sauber, das Personal ist nett und bemüht, und es ist super gelegen. Die Ausstattung der Zimmer ist völlig ausreichend. Es ist zwar kein Luxushotel, aber dafür sehr gepflegt. Das Essen ist absolut in Ordnung und schmeckt gut. Wenn man jedoch mal keine Lust darauf hat, kann man in einem der zahlreichen Restaurants in der Umgebung etwas Passendes finden. Langweilig wird es dort jedenfalls nicht.

Das Hotel an sich ist schön ruhig, wird aber auch gerne von jungen Engländern besucht, die sich erst abends bemerkbar machen, bevor es für sie in die zahlreichen Clubs geht. Das ist aber absolut erträglich und bisweilen sogar ganz lustig zu beobachten. Alles in allem kann ich das Hotel nur empfehlen, gerade für Menschen, die nicht nur Ruhe suchen, sondern auch die Möglichkeit haben wollen, etwas zu erleben.

Das Mar Amantis hat die beste Lage in San Antonio – nicht mittendrin, mit einer super Aussicht auf die Bucht und die Stadt, und dennoch ist alles fußläufig erreichbar. Ich würde (und werde) dort wieder hinfahren.

Cogimos media pensión y nos arrepentimos desde el primer día, ya que la cena era d 19:30 a 21:30 y a las 21:30 ya empezaban a recoger toda la comida del buffet...además d q la comida área nefasta,...d muy baja calidad y todo malísimo, lo único que valía era el pan y la cerveza.....hemos comido fatal durante los 5 días....la habitación estaba bien pero nada del otro mundo....

La única pega que pondría es la tardanza en la limpieza de las habitaciones, ha habido días que hasta las 14 no han ido a limpiarla.

L’hotel ha delle buone possibilità, basterebbe qualche accorgimento in più per renderlo più gradevole. Ad esempio, riporre qualche mensola in bagno (ve ne era soltanto una, piccola) e in doccia.
Abbiamo goduto dell’all inclusive, la cucina non era per niente male.
Giudizio comunque positivo.

Prima plek voor een zeer redelijke prijs!

Hotel was heel moeilijk te vinden, want bleek niet in maar 8 kilometer van Sant Josep te zijn.
Kamer was prima. Ontbijt en diner waren inbegrepen in de prijs.... Plaats waar gegeten kon worden lag in Amarantis II en bleek een soort 'vreetschuur' te zijn met heeeeel veel etende mensen!
Parkeren bleek lastig in de buurt te zijn, want beperkte plaatsen.
