I have stayed at San Remo before many a time before it was taken over by Vibra. The all inclusive dining options were disapppintung and very limited options this time around. Also limited options for vegetarian and vegan.

I have to say this hotel was great. The staff throughout the hotel were so friendly and helpful, nothing was too much for them. The room was good, clean and the beds comfortable. The room was cleaned daily. The pool area was lovely and right across the road from the beach. There are shops just across the road and to walk to San Antonio took 20mins. The food on the All inclusive was the best i have been too. I am a fussy eater and i had plenty of options. I was very impressed. The only think i could complain about is the other guests noise and the hotel can do nothing about that. All around i couldnt recommended this hotel enough

There was very limited choice on the ‘all inclusive’ and the lunch and evening meals were very poor with most of the food inedible and cold (even though it should have been warm). Despite being all inclusive we eat out most nights. Room was very basic, beds were poor and entertainment at night was excessively loud and turned into a nightly rave. No one was sleeping before it was finished. Not a great choice for families, would not be returning any time soon. As a positive, staff were friendly room had a safe.

Staff aren’t that great, food is terrible, have to buy a token for all inclusive drinks which they give you one cup which you have to remember to return when leaving the bar each time which is ridiculous as if you get drunk your not going to remember and then have to buy more tokens!!!

Overall good experience.

Overall the stay was good. Didn't use the facilities apart from the gym, which was basic but enough to get the job done. The couple of times I made breakfast they had a good selection and was pretty decent. I booked a double room, which turned out to be two single beds pushed together - this is always disappointing as I have stayed places previously that have at least locked the beds together and provided a topper.
For the price I paid I would have expected a better overall experience but cannot complain as I booked pretty last minute

Hotel was ok, nice and clean and modern in reception. Our room was ok, big enough with a good shower. Our room (101) had a tree basically covering the whole balcony and got no sun, maybe this was a good thing when trying to sleep in Ibiza! Wish I’d had paid more for a pool view room. Room got cleaned every day, although they don’t change the towels unless you leave the card that’s in your bathroom on your pillow! We wasn’t told this at check in.
Pool was ok, but could never get a sun bed. Breakfast was nice with a big selection, although after 6 days it seemed like I’d had everything twice.
I would stay here again

BE CAREFUL BEFORE BOOKING. I was ripped off by both Expedia and Playasol Ibiza Hotel.
I booked the hotel through Expedia, PAID the full amount, and showed up to the hotel to check in. At this point, the hotel staff told us that they had not received the booking through Expedia for whatever reason, and would not allow us to check in. I then made a series of calls to Expedia; first to confirm that the charge and booking confirmation had gone through. Then, when the hotel staff still wasn’t able to verify the booking through Expedia, I made a second call to Expedia to cancel the hotel booking so I could go stay at a different hotel. The rep on this second Expedia call confirmed that I would be able to cancel. I then left Playasol Ibiza Hotel to stay at a different hotel for the night. At this point, I had already paid the hotel fees for Playasol Ibiza through Expedia but was NOT staying there (because once again, Hotel was not able to clarify the booking with Expedia despite me having paid the full price), and was waiting for a cancellation confirmation.
Fast forward to today, I got an email from Expedia saying they were not able to cancel the reservation. Even though:
1) the Expedia rep confirmed I would be able to cancel, given that I had paid the full night and WAS NOT allowed to check in due to the hotel/Expedia’s communication issues.
2) I did NOT stay at the Hotel. Was not even allowed to check in. Why was I being charged the full amt?
Currently, this is still unresolved.

The location was great, we walked to a lot of our entertainment and I loved the small, uncrowded beach steps away as well as many stores. The staff was as nice as could be and spoke very good english. Unfortunately, the food was the worst I've ever had! We had an all-inclusive package and hardly ate there because its so bad. I don't know if its because I'm American, and maybe food in Europe is different, but I'm not a picky eater by any means and I found it very difficult to eat there. Breakfast was the only good meal, but we were rarely up in time.

The property was clean. The rooms only have twin beds period there isn't a restaurant only a buffet that is open Ltd x other day. I didn't try the snack bar which has hot dogs and hamburgers. The staff was great. The bartender was great. The sangria was premixed, the house red and white wine both came from a box. There was absolutely nothing special about the pool. It was nice that you could walk out the back and crossy Road to get to the beach. Small beach but not bad. This is the \"less party side\" of Ibiza.

You get what you pay for. An ok hotel.

The hotel was ok and you get what you pay for. I think the only thing we struggled with is the poor air conditioning in the room. It was only cool if you stood under the vent, for some reason the aircon didnt cool down the room so when in bed the heat was quite unbearable and did we did end up just opening the windows.

Basic hotel and the bar across the road plays extremely loud music until 5:00am... there is no chance you will ever be able to sleep. Awful experience. The hotel really needs to install sound proof windows

Fantastic stay

I've stayed here numerous times. But this year was so much better than before. It's been newly decorated. The pool area looks fantastic and even the food is much better than before. The staff were lovely we even had good entertainment as we sat at the pool. Franchessica and her team were lovely. We had cocktail classes by the pool and they had all the guests involved. Great fun. Will be back soon. Very impressed with the improvements.

Ibiza stay

Spent a week in Ibiza at the San Remo. Pleasant hotel within strolling distance of Sant Antoni so easy access to town. We were there before the season gets going in May so lots of things still shut but we enjoyed it being quieter. Only draw back was a bar directly opposite our room but even that shut reasonably early - might be worse in high season.

Not my cup of tea/sangria - Far too Noisy!

Hotel is immaculately clean and well presented, as is the restaurant. I found the food to be of a good standard for where I was.

Check in took ONE AND A HALF HOURS as there was only one (jobs worth) receptionist on. I arrived at the hotel at 2115 hrs and finally got to my (duff) room at 2350 hrs). A lot of folk missed their dinner.

As a single person I am ALWAYS allocated a duff room, this was no exception. I probably pay more for the room than a couple do (per person) but still get the room over the bar, looking at bins, on the main road, room next to the stairs/lift. This time I was 'treated' to a room facing the main road over a late bar - Deep Joy!!

The pool area is lovely but extremely small, I can imagine that in the summer it would not be a relaxing place to be.

There wasn't anywhere to sit after dinner unless you suffered the 'Entertainment Team' and their need to scream out songs which mostly sounded like a cat being ironed! Truly painful experience!! And then the loud families whose kids run around whilst they sit drinking = getting louder and louder as the night 'wears' on. Benidorm Crew comes to mind.

If you like that sort of holiday then this is ideal - Each to their own. I found it awful and spent most of my time in the evening in my room.

booked a 3 night stay here because i didnt want to spend over $100 a night. Its a minimal hotel. There was a younger girl at the front what was very rude, everyone one else was nice. Upon check in, she asked for my voucher and i had no idea what that was. I had printed out my itinerary for myself, and she demanded i give it to her because that was the voucher. Then she demanded 3 euros for taxes. I offered a CC and she said no, she needed euros. Said she wouldn't allow me to check in. I asked her where the ATM was, and she refused to tell me where, just said: Out there. So i walked around with my bags to find it.

Besides the ant problem, everything else was ok. You can walk to other areas from there.

Close to the beach but not worth it.

The hotel is within 20 mins from the airport and its close to the beach with amazing views but the hotel needs a total renovation. The rooms are bare, with poor AC which prompted me to demand a room change upon arrival. The rude receptionist told me no upgrades were available but I managed to get a better room with a view once the AC in my room was broken so the receptionist had lied. The bathroom was so so, with threadbare towels. The beds reminded me of cots and the room lacked decor. I called for an iron and was told I had to leave a €10 deposit to get one. I didn't bother. Overall, this hotel is very low budget. If all you need is a bed in a room with malfunctioning AC and poor customer service, this is the place for you. I will never stay here again.

Good quality hotel and stay.

Good hotel, close to the beach, and even had an overlooking view from my balcony of the beach, it also has a swimming pool too.

Was fairly close to shops and the promenade which has some of the main well known places, further on that leads to the centre of San Antonio, so all in all close enough, I did quite like the walk but its around 10-15 mins which wasn't an issue for me.

It wasnt overly loud, but they do some karaoke in some of the close places to the hotel, but is fairly quite I can presume compared to what it may have been like on the other side in the centre. We generally headed out at the times it was on / finishing, if out for the night.

You do have some bars and food places 5 minutes from the hotel if you dont have that included in your stay. However we had breakfast and dinner in our package, and both were excellent and well worth paying for, especially if your not sure what to expect or find as it was my first time travelling to this location too, so I would have some meals worst come to worst if I didnt have a chance or find anything etc.

This hotel is in a lovely area in the bay. It is only a 3 star but is comfortable and is ideal for a budget priced traveller. The staff are friendly and helpful. We only had breakfast but the choice was good. My tip is to pay for a sea view room as the sunrise over the bay is beautiful

Little outdated but cheap and chearfull

Basic hotel. Slightly out dated but what you expect for the money. Too short staffed and not enough space for the two hotels as the hotel next door (sister hotel) bar and eatery was closed so guests used ours. Pretty much on the beach and 10 mins in a boat to San Antonio from right outside hotel, or about a 20/25 minute walk. Plenty going on outside hotel lots of shops and bars to go to.

Great position for beach and nightlife

Have stayed in the San remo many times because the standard is always high, food varied and plentiful, bar service efficient, bedrooms comfortable, new aloe Vera mattresses were so comfortable, rooms cleaned daily with fresh towels. Area around hotel has something for every taste, bars, restaurants, nightclub, children's play park,beach with all the water activities, 15 mins stroll around the bay to San Antonio town, all in all great position and fabulous value for the money payed.

lovely hotel but atmosphere is awful if you want a lively hotel don't stay here, if you want a chilled hotel that doesn't play any up to date young music then this is the hotel for you. beds comfy, food nice, usual noise made in the hotel at night. hotel entertainment but not really my idea of Ibiza it was Elvis tributes and hula hoopers with 90's throwback music playing quietly in the day. spent little time at the hotel even though we were all inclusive. if this hotel changed their music to make it a chilled or uplifting Ibiza style I would stay here again but as it is currently I would not return

Best budget hotel!

For the price you pay for this hotel, the value for money is amazing!
We arrived and asked to swap our room to a sea view which was done free of charge with no problem. The rooms were of a good quality, cleaned everyday and the view over the bay was amazing!

The hotel was a complete mix of people. There were a few small groups but not the rowdy type. One thing we did notice was that hotels surrounding were very quiet with nothing going on. San Remo always had things going on, games and music etc! The staff work incredibly hard at all times!

Food was very good, different things every day. Lots of choice of drinks from the all inclusive too.

The location was perfect, around a 20 min walk to san antonio around the bay (lovely walk) or you can get the water taxi. We also travelled to different parts of the island by bus which we also found cheap.

For the price you pay, this hotel has everything. Thank-you San Remo!

Good hotel close to the beach

The room we had was basic but clean daily and fresh towels. I felt the money paid for all inclusive , there could have been more variety of drinks on the all inclusive, i.e Baileys etc. House wine was not the best .

We (two families with small kids) stayed here for 4 nights and it was OK. We liked the location, the food was good, the room was also OK. A big plus was a balcony with a sea view. we didn't like old blankets, they really look shabby. And we were glad to be here in this time when there is still not crowd. Majority of guests were British and sorry to say, they really behave poorly.

Excellent value for money and right on the beach

I went the last week of October and it was very quiet in the area. The hotel staff were lovely and greeted us in a friendly and helpful way. the hotel and room was spotless. We had a triple room so a double and a sofa bed, this meant not a lot of room to walk around as it was all in one room. As we were bed and breakfast only we didn't have a fridge. The beds were very comfortable and room service every day. The view from the balcony over the bay is beautiful as the hotel is right on the beach. We didn't use the pool but it seems to be in the shade a lot, and not very big.

A day and nightlife oriented summer hotel.

My husband and I found this hotel quite close to the sea,and close for a nice walk on the promenade with bars,restaurants,discoes and other different places for entertainment.We had a good big sized bedroom with a comfortable bed and big terrace overlooking the pool and the sandy beach.A good tasty selection of different food for breakfast and dinner was served every day.Room cleaned everyday and towels changed every morning.The only thing we complained of was the noises of doors banging in the night by young tourists after a night out,that was annoying us,I think there should be a better insulation in the rooms.But the clever,polite and good English speaking receptionist Lorenzo,apart from his good Italian looks,was very helpful,its amasing the way he tackels all the problems that come in hand and made our stay a comfortable one in all ways.

Got there at 9 at night to be told there was a problem as there was no room left for us even though booked and confirmed 2 months before arrival.

Said 1 window in room was smashed and another 1 the toilet was blocked so we had to move to sister hotel which was a further 10 mins away from San Antonio Bay and we were already a good distance away.

The hotel paid the taxi to the hotel but just that 1 time, not good enough at all.

Save your money for something better

The San Remo has a great location and that's about it. If you're a few frat boys looking to go to Ibiza cheap and get wasted and don't care. This is the place for you. The beds felt like cardboard, the AC didn't work. The shower had temperature issues. The food in the \"all inclusive\" cafeteria was awful. The wifi cost $70 for a week and dropped out every 30 seconds. (Not exaggerating). The pool sucked. The elevator is sketchy.

Overall a pretty awful place to stay. Only positives is its in San Antonio and has a good view on one side. (Of course my room faces the street on the other side)

As long as you aren't a family you will be fine. The food was average but there was always plenty. The all inclusive bar is great for saving money. There are snacks avaliable. But don't take children as it's full of groups of young people or hen/stag parties.

The guy checking guest in seemed bothered by what would be typical questions for someone's arrival. The room smelled like sewer the entire time. The bed was hard. Toilet ring was spotted with stains, the curtain wouldn't pull back. The pool deck was closed most of the time and the food service looked like a bad buffet gone worse for both breakfast and dinner

If you want a 5 star hotel, book a 5 star hotel. This is exactly what it says on the tin. The food was excellent. Very clean hotel. Situated as near to the beach as you can get. No entertainment in the hotel on the night but right on the door step of plenty of bars and pubs. 25 minute walk to the main strip of San Antonio.
The staff are always very courteous and helpful. The room was cleaned every day.
Overall, I would go to this hotel again and again as it is located in the quieter part of the bay, but there are plenty of bars on the doorstep if you want to live it up a little. If you want to rave the night away, you can take a 25 min walk or a taxi to the main strip.

Not what expected!!!

Will not be back at this hotel ever again. Only good thing about it was its location on the beach and the friendly, helpful staff. When we arrived we were met by spanish police escorting a guest out of the hotel. We were then told by another guest who was checking out that we should not stay there it was awful. Reception staff then proceeded to tell us we were not even in that hotel but next door in the sister hotel. This hotel had smaller rooms and a tiny pool. The gym looked nothing like advertised and had disgraceful equipment if you would even call it that. The breakfast was horrible I was thankful after tasting it we did not go all inclusive. Very noisy at night also

Budget hotel with best on offer being the view

We were not expecting much from this 3* hotel given its proximity to Sant Antoni and the type of client that the island attracts. We were only there for the weekend and with a late arrival thought this would be easy option.

Hotel has been built on the cheap with no insulation so the clubbers returning from party night can be heard a mile away. Room was clean, however there was only a trickle of water from basin facet, the shower head had been replaced with a very cheap completely impracticable one which was ineffective, the safe door was gone - so much for security! And of course all of these things would be very evident to housekeeping and given the hotel was nowhere near capacity you would have thought they could put you into a room without defects - perhaps they are all the same?

The other point to make was given at no capacity you would think they could put you in a room with a view alas no let's not generate a bit of good PR for oneself that would be silly.

We did not use the pool as questionable how clean it is given the clientele it attracts and the antics around the pool - fortunately the Med was on hand.

All in all we had a lovely weekend in Ibiza save our poor choice of accommodation.

Close to the beach and bars, around 20 min walk to San Antonio, and surrounnding beaches along the way, sea bus if you don't like walking don't think it was suitable for family's at this hotel as not a lot for children to do

Was the worst hotel I've ever stayed in rooms were never cleaned in 6 days bad lighting in hotel, safe did'nt work, was no tv and air con the room was small and the view from the room was a tree that anyone could get so could'nt leave the balocy door open.

Last minute ibiza trip

The lights have a mind of their own when your on the bed switching on and off whenever you move. The bathroom was a bit of a state.... You have to be a midget to have a shower comfortably...and not mind the odd cold shower joined by the bad noise coming form the jets in the bath... And be careful getting out as the likelyhood is that the floor is now a bit of a swimming pool.
Now the balcony on the other hand made everything worth while the view was amazing overlooking the port.
The swimming pool was a bit on the chilly side of life but was nice when the sun was hitting it.
The cleanliness of the room left something to be desired and the want to change the bed sheets every time you climb into bed wasn't the ideal situation!

Good room, BUT non consistent service & bad food

the room is nice and modern and the sea view (u might be unlucky and get the back rooms that they overlook at the street) This is for the 2 out of 6 days that we stayed there.

BUT ...The other trick - I believe - they are doing is this: when we have arrived the guy at the reception said \"I have a problem, there is no availability due to a water-pipe issue on the first floor and there is no water so we have to put you on the hotel opposite us and then in 3-4 days you will come to us\" The other hotel called Azuline Mar Amantis 2...in brief it had good food - actually amazing variety- but miserable rooms)..well I thought what else can we do as I didnt know the quality of the one or the other hotel. I think their doing this to share revenew between other hotels so they do double bookings

Food at San Remo was shocking especially after staying at Azuline Mar Amantis 2 -there is also Azuline Mar Amantis 1 which is next to the sea, but 2 is behind 1 and 2 is in the middle of a narrow street and has absolutelly no views) BUT the food was great (we are eating opposite at 1 with great views) but the room was miserable).....so its a difficult one:

__San Remo good room (only sea view) Baaad food (for the all inclusive) a big empty lounge with free WiFi on lounge area only (extra charge if u want internet access on the rooms) and no form of entertainment,
__Azuline Mar Amantis Baaad room (depressive) but excelent eating space/ quality and variety of food + entertainmnet for children etc

Spent 3 day there with friends. Nice atmosphere, Nice staff, good value for money. The boat to town is right outside, and so is the beach. What more could you want for a quick Ibiza blitz.

The hotel is very much a cheap hotel, clean and basic. But overall very nice! The staff are friendly! The only thing we did not like was the all inclusive big groups getting loud and genrrally annoying! Not really ideal for couples. But awesome for drunken groups!

Cheap hotel for 1 or 2 nights only

We stayed at San Remo for 1 night only as we arrived on the 1am flight from London. The only good thing about this hotel is the view from the balcony. Amazing. However, it's a cheap hotel so there are a lot of young drunk people. Only stay for 1-2 nights at most.

Poor service made a bad impression

This hotel could be good. It's on the beach in a decent area, but the poor service of the hotel makes it unacceptably bad. While we checked in one guest came up threatening to call the police as the hotel had taken and lost their passport. Another set of guests had their room broken into, their locked bags pried open and stuff stolen. The receptionist couldn't have cared less. \"We only cover things in the safe (another 3.5 Euros a day) and nothing else is our concern.\" This seemed to be the general opinion of the staff the whole stay. There was only 1-2 staff at the front desk for 250 rooms, which meant there was always a long line and the service was abrupt, rude and unhelpful. The pool had only about 25 sunning chairs, which meant people put their towels on them early to reserve them for the day and there was never one available. We didn't even attempt the food as we didn't get the all inclusive and expected that it would be poor. There wasn't a bar for meeting people and it wasn't a nice place to sit and enjoy. Internet Wifi was 12 euros a day and much of the time it wasn't working.

The only decent thing was that our room was decently appointed, but it always smelled worse after the maids had cleaned it, as if they were cleaning with dirty supplies.

In general, we made an effort to spend as little time as possible in this hotel as it just wasn't a comfortable or enjoyable place to be. My suggestion would be to look for somewhere that actually cares about their guests.

Das Hotel war nicht schlecht, leider konnten wir keine Nacht durchschlafen, da ungefähr bis in der Früh sehr laut war. Die jungen Leute, die nahmen keine Rücksicht auf die Nachtruhe und das Hotelpersonal interessierte sich nicht dafür. Schade.

Nous avons sejourner une semaine en All inclusive .Notre chambre etait tres propre ,le personnel est plutot tres agreable a l accueil la dame parle tres bien français .Les repas sont tres correct , boissons wodka ,biere ,soda etc a volontè. De l aèroport taxi 33 euros ,les bus jusque San Antoni commence en juin .Pour aller a Ibiza il y a un arret de bus a 500m de l hotel ligne 8.Je recommande .

Très bon emplacement, à 15 mn à pied de la promenade en bord de mer de San Antonio, restaurants et bars proximité. Petite plage au pied de l'hôtel. Personnel très accueillant et agréable. Large choix au petit-déjeuner.
Bus et navette bateau à côté.
Bel hôtel très pratique, et au calme.
