These hotels all look very well on the pics but experiencing can be totally disappointing.
This hotel was small and clean but was based in an industrial area with a number of tyre amd mannequin shops with a constant strong smell of industrial glue (the type that is used as time bonding)
This hotel was also situated in a very steep area which meant walking up was a mammoth of a task !
Will i recommend or go there again??...probably not.

there is no transport near by , you have to walk uphill 3/4 miles to reach metro or bus .

My first impression of the hotel was very negative due to the unpleasant smell, seemingly caused by locals urinating on the walls and streets due to a lack of washrooms. However, the staff were friendly, with a young man in a suit welcoming us and carrying our bags and child's stroller to our room.

I was surprised that while one bottle of water is free on the first night, additional bottles cost 1€ each. When I questioned the policy, the staff confirmed that new guests get a free bottle, but long-term guests don't, which seemed absurd.

The first night was decent with functioning air conditioning. However, the second night was uncomfortable due to the hot weather and a malfunctioning AC. Despite my complaints and a staff member taking a picture of the thermostat, the issue wasn't resolved, leading to another sleepless night.

I later discovered the thermostat is controlled by the receptionist, who shuts off the AC after midnight to save electricity, sometimes forgetting to turn it back on, causing some rooms to experience AC problems.

On our last night, a loud noise from the bathroom kept my family awake. Despite the night shift staff's attempts to fix it, the problem persisted. At 5 AM, they offered to switch our room, but with our flight at 9 AM, it wasn't feasible.

I expressed my dissatisfaction, explaining that my stay was uncomfortable and my vacation ruined. I requested a partial refund but was told it was against their policy. I hope Expedia compensate me

I don't recommend it to anyone who travels to the Density hotel. It is a horrible place—dirty my room. I was with my husband and mother for nine days; they cleaned my room only for two days and never changed my bed sheets. I took off my bed sheets, and I called reception to come and see. The staff are friendly. Management is unprofessional. He couldn't speak English. I don't know how he was a manager. I booked £950 when I checked in; they charged me 1220€. They said it because it's a new year. All the pictures are different when you see them. Duvet was broken. Noisy place. I didn't have a heater for two days. They said it's a problem for all. When I went to breakfast for the first morning, I requested fry eggs; they said you should pay extra. Please avoid going to this hotel. The bedsides were covered with dust. Disgusting. It wastes your money if you go to this place. I gave some vegetables to keep in the freezer until I checked out. They gave me half of them. Another half disappeared. Terrible, Horrible hotel.

The size of the rooms were decent and the condition was good and clean. Staff were very helpful and breakfast times we're very good as well. You can have breakfast until about 10.30am

The only warning for other who want to visit this hotel is that it's next to a mosque and the calls for prayers can be loud especially at 5am in the morning. Not that this was an issue for us but I suspect it will be for those who are not used to it or people with children.

The hotel is nice and the staff is marvelous, but the location is a bit of an issue as although it is some 800 meters from Taksim square, its 750m downhill-uphill walk which can be challenging when wearing the mask. Also, the neighborhood is a bit creepy.

This property was located in a terrible location - it was shut down by the police when we arrived and we were told immediately to leave the area as it was completely unsafe.
We paid and booked everything so when we spoke to the hotel staff they refused to help us out or give us out money back despite knowing it was their fault for not informing us this was the case and that we would not be able to stay. Terrible terrible staff that do not speak any English and the manager that does, doesn’t wish to help in anyway. I will not recommend this hotel particularly due to location and incident that occurred!!!

I’m very upset to have to give this report but it is very honest. From check in to departure. The front desk staff are completely rude. I filled in the initial survey I got from Expedia about check in and they knocked on my door asking why I had done this review. I felt intimidated and scared as I still had a further 3 nights at the place. I kept asking for a extra key for 3 of us and they insisted on one key only. They didn’t even replace toilet paper every day I had to ask and again for 3 of us they would give us one toilet paper roll per day. The towels had black and yellow marks on and need replacing. The breakfast was extremely poor.

Difficult dealing

Far location from stores, it is surrounded by car stores & if you want to go to bus station (14 mins) you will need to walk a hill for 7 minutes.
Istanbul is a beautiful place but people are very tough dealing. You will need to learn basic turkish words before going to protect ur self.

Terrible location in a back ally of an industrial area. Doesn't feel safe at night. Need a taxi to go anywhere. Not a walking distance to Taksim as you neeed to walk up steep hill for at least 25 min to get there. Hotel lobby infested with roaches. Had to change rooms twice because of toilet flush problems. Won't go there ever again.

For its price this might be the best place you can go in Istanbul. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Very close to taksim square. 1 bedroom rooms are a bit small. Sauna/Hamam is amazing. I rate 5/5

A pleasant experience in general! will return.

Pros:
1. Hotel condition is great, very new (less than a year I guess) and clean and modern.
2. Beds are comfy
3. Air-con good
4. away from main road and quiet (a mosque very close by. You can hear it loud 5 times a day, one being at sunrise!)
5. Breakfast was great. many varieties and all delicious
6. Room service was good
7. Front desk people helpful
8. Free shuttle to Taksim Sq. where you can catch taxies (use Uber! taxies can rip you off!)
9. Towels and beddings new. Shampoos and even the hair dryer was good enough!
10. Rooms spacious. Upper levels great view
11. Staff are extremely polite with guests and also among themselves
Cons:
1. while booking it said room has city views which didn't. They gave us rooms in level one despite I booked well before the date.
2. The reception and dining area noise was annoying at times.
3. Lift very small
4. About 900 meter to Taksim sq., so around you is nothing much.
5. Room service forgot to change sheets or leave shampoos and mineral water (Don't drink tap water).
6. Except 2 people in reception basically no one speaks English (I speak Turkish but if you don't that might be a problem).
7. Lobby is not big, So if a group are sitting, no more space.
8. Fridge in the rooms is not even a bar fridge. Very small only space for some cans.
In general, a pleasant experience for a family of 6.
