My stay at Elysium Hotel did not feel like a 5-star experience — more like a 3-star inn. The room lacked basics like napkins, kitchen utensils, plates, forks, and even a coffee maker. The microwave was poor and very slow to turn on.
Service was inconsistent — the valet was often nowhere to be found. The pool water was too cold, though the dry sauna and steam room were excellent.
The view from room 1902 was spectacular, with both sunrise and sunset visible, but this was partly ruined since some curtains couldn’t be opened and the key wasn’t working, so we couldn’t access the full view.
Overall, a few highlights, but not what you expect from a 5-star hotel.
