The room was comfortable and the bed was very cosy. The staff were friendly and helpful, and we especially enjoyed the pool. It’s a nice facility and perfect for relaxing. Free parking is also a bonus.

The only downside was that the pool water felt a bit cold and not warm enough — it would be perfect if it was just a little warmer.

The room was on a main corridor and overlooked the main road, which was less than 10 metres away. Road noise all night for the 4 nights. No sleep then incosnsiderate guests speaking loudlyas they moved along the coridor late at night. If anyone stays here, make sure you ask for a rooom not overlooking the road. Just wished I had that forethought.

Breakfast buffet was great, restocked regularly, and we were seated quickly.
We had dinner there on our second day, and the pork steak was the best Ive had, as was the chocolate sundae.
The swimming facilities are clean and well lit, and aside from the discomfort of a random man watching me from the sauna the entire time my friend and I were there, it was a pleasant experience. We ended up leaving the pool because of the creeper and didn't go back. Luckily changing rooms are separated by gender so we didn't run into him again.

Rooms are clean and comfy, the bar service is fast and staff are all friendly and have a smile on their faces. This will be our go to stay whenever we're in the area, even after the pool creeper incident

Really disappointing stay. I was expecting a good night’s sleep, but the room was noisy due to constant traffic from the street outside.
Cars passing by throughout the night made it impossible to sleep properly. I was woken at around 4 a.m. and couldn’t get back to sleep at all.

I asked the night staff for earplugs, but they didn’t have any available and it was not possible for me to change the room, because there was no receptionist.
I felt there was no adequate support for the guest.
This lack of service is unworthy of a supposedly “4 Star” hotel.
If rooms are affected by this level of noise, this should be clearly stated in the hotel information, so guests can make an informed decision. After checking other people reviews, I realised noise from the street is a significant problem in this hotel.
I would strongly advise light sleepers to avoid staying here, at least not the room with the street view.

The room was clean when we came but to get to the room is complicated. The rooms location like a maxe up down the step . The day after no one came to clean the room but they dropped clean towel which is quite strange for us. The breakfast just very simple bread tea coffee jam n hot food to order . Not buffet as in the advert. No toothbrush either.. its just very simple R b&b type accomodation. . Sorrt but we willnot back to stay there again....i hope this review can help with further improvennt

I stayed at The Beeches for one night in a one Queen Bed room (Room 41), which was quite small. The hotel staff were great and the bed was very comfortable. There was a decent size car park round the back and the hotel was in a nice residential area, so I felt safe leaving my car.

The biggest issue during my stay was the UPVC window which wouldn't close properly, letting in a lot of road noise from Wilford Lane, which has traffic all night, so I am glad I packed some earplugs! The window and its recess were dirty too, with some black mould. The second issue was the TV which had constant picture breakup with a \"Weak or No Signal\" message.

Breakfast at The Beeches was very good with a decent selection of food and the cooked food was good quality. Service was good too, with attentive staff.

However, I don't think this hotel meets the standard of a 4 star property. Some areas of the hotel are old. The lift call button sometimes didn't work to call the lift to the second floor. The decor was a little tired in places.

One final point - there's no bath mat and the shower floor was extremely slippery. Take care when getting in and out of the shower.

Always a pleasure staying at the Beeches hotel. Your Greeted by friendly and helpful staff. Rooms are clean and tidy. I do recommend the king or queen rooms rather than the single and doubles. They are a upgrade and worth it. The gym and pool/sauna are a lovely relaxing treat. The breakfast buffet is worth it. Fills you up for the day. Free parking included. A new surprise from other stays was the location of the hotel, hidden behind the main road estate is a beauiful river and park that provides an relaxing walk away from the busy road. I will continue using beeches as my go to 2nd home when staying in that part of the country. Thanks

Easy to check in & out, reception very friendly & helpful.
Easy to sign in & use the gym, pool & hot tub although the temperature in the pool & hot tub were too cold for me.
Room ok, bed comfy, as described.
A lot of noise from next door banging I assume cupboards & people coming past in the hallway.
Got woken by a family passing by with children early.
Shower nice & hot. They do have notices everywhere to warn of hot water.
Didn’t use the restaurant so can’t comment.

The menu was varied both at breakfast and in the evening. Well stocked bar.
The room was very hot, even with the provided fan but the bed was comfortable.
Kept having to log back in on the internet, which elderly relatives found very tiresome.
It would have been useful to have more written information, such as a selection of tourist brochures.

Was well priced and convenient for our needs. But a few things did annoy me:

-no hooks in bathroom for hanging towels on
-bathroom was not cleaned one of the days yet we received new towels and bedroom was cleaned
-one of the replacement mugs was dirty
-bin collection at 6am was not appreciated as our room was above the bin area at the back of the hotel
-room 38 was interesting, classed as floor 1 yet in the attic and such a crazy route to get there invoving going up a few stairs, then going down a few stairs and then going up some more stairs to a landing with 3 rooms off it. Was tricky negotiating the route with a large suitcase

The pool and gym are nice and the location also very good. The room was very hot, no air conditioning, bathroom smells cigarette and very tiny. The shower cubicle is so tiny you can barely move. The staff is good and tries to sort the problems and offered free breakfast (which is also nothing special) but I would rather have a better room and pay for my breakfast!

The room was spacious but the small window made it seem a little gloomy. The bed was comfortable but the bedside lights were useless I had to use the torch function of my mobile to read in bed.

There is no air conditioning so on hot days the room gets uncomfortably hot. A large fan was provided but is rather noisy.

The location is very good for walking to cafés, the Trent, football and cricket grounds and for longer walks into Nottingham.

Easy and quick check in were given bottles of water due to the heat fans in the room to help it keep cool a nice size room with lots of storage and a refrigerator lovely comfy bed and nice big shower with complementary shampoos. A great gym and swimming pool even though it was a tad cold but nice hot tub and very hot sauna a lovely stay for the night to visit the uni.

Only disadvantage of this hotel that I've found is lack of air conditioning in the rooms which is a slight discomfort with outside temperatures above 30°C and some rooms having solid double glazing. Luckily Mary at the reception was helpful and changed my room for the one where I was able to partly open the window. Corridors leading to rooms are sort of small labyrinths...

Other than that, nice place to stay.

From the moment I walked in I was greeted by a friendly staff member on the check in desk, I was told everything I needed to know about the hotel, like brakefast times and so on.

The room was fine for what I needed asI was not there for most of the day anyway, The only problem I had was the bathroom size as it was too small but thats what you get for a single room. The room was quite the bed was just right!

The Brakefast was spot on, fresh and cooked just right, coffee, toast and so on, set me up for the day! I had dinner on the Friday night, the burger I had was just what I needed after the train ride I had from Cov.

I used the pool, it looked clean and well kept, the temp of the hot tub was spot on, the pool was cold but for me it was fine!

In all the hotel, the staff and location was spot on. I would stay here again.

Good location/parking and friendly staff. Room ok, but no aircon meant leaving the windows open and being woken by binmen at 6.30am! Inconvenient not to have a shelf in the shower (despite previous feedback). Lots of stairs to get to the room. Breakfast was ok for the money, but fairly basic and lukewarm in parts.

Fantastic Hotel – Highly Recommend!
Stayed here the night before the Nottingham 70.3 Ironman and couldn’t have picked a better spot – only 10 minutes from the event, making it the perfect location.

The hotel itself is fantastic. The spa is absolutely beautiful and spotless, offering a great place to relax. All the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. The food and drinks were excellent – great quality and great value for money.

Would definitely stay again and highly recommend to anyone visiting the area!
