Check-in was so easy, room was cozy, bed comfortable. Staff were so helpful too…..we loved the fact that the room was dog friendly, as was the bar area where we could eat breakfast. The food in the restaurant was extremely good value and very enjoyable to eat too. We’d happily recommend Littleover Lodge to anyone and would love to stay again in the future.

My wife and I regularly use LL when visiting our elder daughter. We always find the amenities and facilities first rate, with excellent and friendly staff always available. We are happy with all aspects, and would recommend Littleover Lodge as an excellent base when visiting the area!

More of a 'motel' as the accommodation was a block in the pub car aprk, but it was bright and airy with plenty of room and a good bathroom. Very noisy until pub-kicking out time but it's nice to hear folks having fun....against your room door. ;-)

wee pleasant surprise
I was pleasantly surprised to find i had a one bedroom apartment. With great facilities. Staff were ever so helpful and polite and ordered the pizza from the onsite restaurant to my wee apartment. Delicious and simple continental breakfats included.although it is beside a busy bar and restaurant after 11pm i didnt hear and thing and slept soundly with no disturbances.

However, the listing didn’t mention that the property is also a bar, and on both Friday and Saturday night it was extremely noisy, with a lot of drunk people just outside my room and quite a bit of broken glass on the ground, which made me nervous for the dogs. It’s not ideal if you’re looking for a quiet or family-friendly stay.
The breakfast was a basic continental option — perfectly fine, but nothing special. Parking was a bit of an issue too, as the disabled bays were taken by vehicles without badges.
Overall, it wasn’t a bad stay, and it could be great if you’re planning a night out and want somewhere close by to crash. But I probably wouldn’t stay again myself, and I’d suggest checking whether there’s likely to be weekend noise before booking.

The continental breakfast is good with plenty of options which we were quite happy with especially as it’s included in the price. The outdoor seating area by the restaurant is very nice and very peaceful. You could barely hear traffic despite being so close to a busy road. The driveway is quite potholed and in need of some TLC. Our room was clean and not bad overall especially for the price although the double glazing in the window is badly blown and full of condensation so wouldn’t keep the warmth in the room during the winter

Modern boutique style hotel with bedrooms in lodges. The room was simple but very clean and a large walk in shower. There were plenty of supplementary tea, coffee and milk too. The staff were super friendly and polite and the food was very good value and homemade too. I don't think there was WiFi in the rooms though and air conditioning would have been welcomed.

My wife and I have stayed twice here, with at least another visit later in the year. Both times we have found all the staff extremely helpful, friendly, polite and totally professional. We have also used their bar facilities for a lunchtime snack, and the restaurant for an evening meal, with both the food and service being excellent. Room service offered and was excellent and quick. They supplied bucket of ice for my husband who had knee surgery and needed to ice his knee. Over and above I would say. Food from restaurant was very nice.
Hotel only supplies whole milk but when I asked the gentleman at breakfast went above and beyond to get me some semi skimmed which was excellent!!
Bar prices are very reasonable.
