Clean and functional but the rooms are quite small with limited space to get in and out (I had a tuba with me). I was surprised ti be charged £5 overnight car parking as id filtered on free parking in the search.

I was woken at 1.30am by loud music playing from another guest. I had to look up the hotel reception number on my phone as not printed on room card wallet or displayed in room. It was dealt with quickly however on hearing the conversation it was as if it was not the first time it had happened. If that was the case why put me in a room next to a potential problem especially as I was on my own with two dogs

I know it’s budget but you can get a lot better budget alternatives for the money I paid. No kettle in the rooms! You have to go down to the reception in the list just to have a coffee in the morning! The room was very basic and cold, the heater provided was rubbish and barely pumped out any heat, I was freezing all night. I couldnt wait to leave to be honest. Also they charge £5 parking charge upon arrival!

The room was a little small, you had the sink on the wall of the bedroom next to the toilet, but this is a budget hotel.
The room the bathroom was clean. The bed was comfortable.
It had a bar which is unusual for a budget hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful.
I went for breakfast I their restaurant and it was very good. ( I stayed in a hotel in New York a couple of months ago which cost me a lot more. Their breakfast was nowhere near as good as the Ibis)

My car broke down and I explained to a member of staff what and she said I could wait in the bar area for help. She asked me if I would like to watch TV and changed it to the channel I would like.
I would recommend this hotel to stay in and I will be using it again when I come Burton.

A budget hotel in a great location if you have a car. The rooms and hotel looked modern and new. Everything worked and the bed was comfortable and the shower worked perfectly. The room rate was good value for a compact room. More somewhere to lay your head than spend a lot of time in your room. Local amenieties also very handy and immediately outside the hotel. With local towns and Derby city centre only a few minutes away. Only negative would be if a long stay there is little room to lay out clothes, but ideal for a weekend break or business trip.

Lovely experience yet again.
This is one of my many stays in the Willington Ibis and as always I cannot fault my experience. From entering reception and the lovely friendly welcome I always receive, to a super clean and comfortable room. Refreshments available and a good hearty breakfast if required. Great price for a relaxing stay.

Pros: very quiet services so decent sleep, restaurant available, reasonably priced rooms, room was spotlessly clean - you could smell the cleaning products as you opened the door, modern stylish rooms, powerful shower, decent tv, little row of shops outside consisting of independent coffee shop, beauty salon, charity shop, subway, pan Thai restaurant (a bit of a random collection 😅) petrol station shop is easy to walk to, nice looking pub a short walk, dog friendly and less of a charge than Travelodge!, plenty of charge points for EV, absolutely didn't look like a budget hotel when we went in - I thought we were in the wrong building - feels much more upmarket and new.

I intended to have dinner here. Told at reception they stopped serving at 9pm, but when i went down at 8.15 I was told the kitchen was closed because there were very few customers.

They would have gotten five stars but they wouldn’t refund my nexT stay that I made a mistake and booked in the wrong location. So they basically got £45 of my money for nothing when I tried to cancel 4 days in advance. I will never stay there again!!!!

This is a basic budget hotel. It was clean, but lacked facilities, such as kettle and hairdryer. Its location is a little out of the way, as there was nowhere to walk to, but for a one night stay as part of a journey it would be perfect.

They kept throwing hotdogs at us whilst we tried to sleep!! I’m not sure if it’s a cultural thing or not, as I’m from the Isle of Man - but from where I’m from the staff at hotels should not wake you up and throw meats at you. Weird experience, but when I got used to it I had the best nights sleep of my entire life.

We stayed for 3 nights myself, hubby and granddaughter, being disabled found 3 of the 4 cars in the 4 bay disabled parking areas had No blue badges, which meant I could not park in the disable parking.
I am aware it was a budget ibis, but the mattress is too hard, and left me with more pain and not good nights sleep while there.
The other issue is no tea making in the rooms, this was hard for me as I was unable to access a hot drink through the night unless I woke my husband. This is something that should be consodered

The staff were extremely pleasant and welcoming and were very accommodating when we asked for extra pillows. There is no coffee or tea in room; Only in the lobby. There's always loads available and boiling water too, and as the hotel is so small it's really not a bother to get tea or coffee in the morning or any time in the day! The hotel room was lovely and clean and airy, for the price it's perfect.
As for parking. The carpark is great, secure and has cameras, also available is electric charging points (7kwh) and is super easy to use, which is perfect for saving money on rapid chargers.
Overall a fantastic hotel and for value for money it's unmatched!

Fluff all over the floor, stain on bedsheet, and poo in toilet when we arrived. 3 nights we had to ask for fresh towels as they were soaking and not drying by the time you wanted a shower. Lights hanging off the wall and coat hanger slack. Just not a good experience.
