The hotel was reasonably clean and the location was good. The man at reception tried to help when I needed assistance. The room had some useful features such as mirrors and hooks.
However, there were several issues with my stay. The room was small, with no windows, no headboard and no bedside lights. The towels were very worn, and I found hairs in the bathroom that were not mine. One of my friends also found that their sheets were dirty.
The room was very noisy. I could hear people using the toilet in the rooms above, and noise from the pipes throughout the night. This made it difficult to sleep.
I was also disappointed that the booking information was not clear in English. One of the rooms had a shared bathroom and no windows, but this was not obvious when booking. Had this been made clear, I would have booked elsewhere.
I also find the fact that they don’t have 24h reception impractical and they were not responsive over email, message and phone. I dread to think what would have happened if there had been an emergency.
