Wonderful hotel! We had a prefect dinner across the street at a restaurant. The owner even gave us a ride to the train station in the morning and helped us with our tickets. Wished we could have stayed a couple of more days.

A little peaceful haven on earth away from the city. Located in a beautiful countryside. Friendly and helpful staff - we felt like at home. Convenient 10-15 minutes walk to the train station and then 20-25 train ride to a city center.

Our family of five had a wonderful three day stay! The staff were so helpful and kind. It’s a quaint hotel, with easy access to Munich, if you want more action. Our preference was to have an authentic Bavarian experience, away from the city, and we got that exactly. We loved the wellness spa, the daily breakfast was delicious, and the entire place was spotless. Wonderful stay, we would absolutely love to visit again!

Charming Landhotel
Very charming hotel with lots of room for parking; loved the view from our balcony. The owner at the front desk spoke English very well and was super accommodating to us. There is no way I can put into words the AMAZING experience we had here. The hotel is SPOTLESS, comfortable and beautifully decorated. The breakfast was the BEST we have EVER had at a hotel (25+ years of travel). The employees are BEYOND friendly. Always going out of their way to be kind and helpful. The owners were on hand daily to help us navigate Bavaria, give tips for local things to do, and even give us a ride to the train station when our rental car didn't work out. We literally are planning another trip to Germany around going back to this hotel. I have never stayed at a better place and if I could give them 100 stars, I would!!!!

I stayed at many great hotels in my 2 week trip in Germany, but this was my favorite. Staff were so friendly and helpful, taking time to help me understand how to take the train into Munich. I like the peaceful country setting, to start and end my days of sightseeing. Restaurants are within walking distance too, in case you’d like to have several beers. I hope to return soon.

I was trepidatious at first because there was no AC. However, the assurances of the front desk clerk that it wasn’t needed was accurate. There was a lovely breeze from the balcony windows. We had a wonderful stay. It was very cozy and the warmth can be felt in this gorgeous cabin-like lodging. Family-run and they are very pleasant and efficient. The freshness of the air in our balcony was amazing. Breakfast is great! They have a variety of selection. We weren’t able to bring any swimwear so we missed using the whirlpool, steam room and sauna. They also have a very nice and complete mini gym room plus a tanning room! Our kids and us had fun exploring the ammenities available.

While it is a bit out of the way (20-30 minute public transportation ride) to downtown Munich it was refreshing to be \"out\" of the city after a long day of traveling. We had a quick overnight stay here just before a flight. As such, we were only there for about 6 hours. The front desk was great and made sure we were all prepared for your flight the next day by printing our boarding passes for us. He also recommended a nice restaurant just down the street.

Of the myriad of hotels we’ve used stateside and in Europe during the past 18 months, Glasl’s has to be the best. At check in, the clerk spent the time to recommend a nearby place for dinner, that turned out to be wonderful, and how to use the other local amenities. We wanted to locate outside of the city, in the Bavarian countryside and this was perfect in a quiet little town, not that far from Munich. The building is superbly maintained. The décor is beautiful. Mass transit is just a few blocks away. The breakfast offering is varied and outstanding. We cannot imagine a single thing we would improve. We’ve already recommended this as a destination to our friends.

Stayed for the October Fest. The best breakfast selection in our three week trip to Europe. A little far to walk to S-Bahn for trips to Munich (20-25 min trip and economical as well), but there is free park and ride at the station so you don't have to walk. It's just like previous reviews have mentioned. A hidden gem. Excellent breakfast; it had foods that are typical in America and also Europe. Staff spoke English. Room was large, the only negative was the bed was not a double but 2 twins beds put together. If driving a personal vehicle it took about 20 minutes to get to Munich. The location in my opinion was great because it was away from downtown Munich, which is very busy and loud but still close enough to visit without a long commute.

Nice country hotel
We stayed there for 3 nights as a family with our grown-up daughter. Initially there was a misunderstanding about the location of the hotel. We wanted a hotel right in the heart of Munich the city centre. A little bit consusing info on internet coupled with language problem with some of the staff over phone, gave a wrong impression. We were rather taken aback when on arriving at München Hauptbahnhof station discovered that it was far away in the countryside. If it was not for the excellently helpful English speaking taxi driver, we would have been in trouble in finding the hotel at 23:00hrs at night.
However, once we were there, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
