A really pleasant stay at the Best Western Plus Erbe. Parsdorf is reasonably convenient to the S2 rail line, taking you downtown and to key perimeter towns like Erding. There are restaurants, markets and cafes within a short walking distance for those that prefer eating outside the hotel.

The room was dated but clean. The mattress was moderately comfortable but the pillows were not, the most significant negative about this hotel.

The buffet is generous and tasty. The cost of the buffet and dinner is high, but quality of the food is good. For a lighter and/or cheaper option, the Käfer Deli & Market one street over has a nice café with good coffee. Café Mainstreet in Poing (one stop away on the S2 and close to the station) is also a good choice for breakfast.

In town to visit Therme Erding (which is absolutely wonderful and highly recommended), I was surprised and impressed at the quality of the sauna offered by Hotel Erbe. It features a half-dozen different saunas, relaxation areas and bathing facilities. It’s beautifully arranged and maintained. The spa areas are mixed gender and textile-free, as is typical in Germany, so nudity is compulsory and welcomed. The mood is intimate, peaceful and relaxing. A pleasantly social group were there on my visit, and it proved a lovely place to get to know fellow guests, and a very nice way to end each day. The spa is the feature that sets this hotel apart.

This hotel was perfect for what we were looking for. It’s about 20-30 mins to the heart of Munich and Ubers are very easy to use. You can walk right to the outlets for breakfast or grab groceries. The sauna is AMAZING. We enjoyed it every night after lots of beers at Oktoberfest! The staff was easy to work with and very friendly. Would recommend staying here!

We were greeted by lovely staff and checkin was smooth. The added touch of the giving us Oktoberfest cookies was so kind. We ate dinner at the alm grill. Our server John was fantastic. He was so personable and enthusiastic. Thank you for making our first nights in Germany memorable.

1) The breakfast was excellent. 2) Our room was unacceptable. This hotel would have been a great experience if the rooms were just regular (with regular ceilings). They told that all the upper floor rooms have this weird type of ceilings (that was why they were a bit cheaper. Obviously, we couldn’t have known it!) . We believe these type of rooms can’t be used as hotel rooms with this condition, as it is. I made photos. We asked them please at least move the bed to make more room to breathe. But we were told it was impossible. We had no choice but to stay. One day, a guest may easily have a head concussion in one of those rooms. They may sue the hotel for that reason.

Given the price point and hotel being marketed as 4* I would expect more from their premium hotel rooms.
Communication with the hotel prior to arrival was good. We didn’t have breakfast so can’t comment on this aspect. Hotel is conveniently located near Messe, however if you expect 4 star level, this is more of a standard hotel experience. Rooms (premium) relatively small. Communication with the night porter could have been better in the evening anreiving from a concert. It transpired to us that he wasn’t very keen on discussing matters with a female and kept responding to my questions directly to my male family members despite handling my ID and booking being done and paid by myself. I found that odd and quite frankly rude, however understand that cultural preferences might have come to play.
Another slightly off putting matter was that the cleaning staff knocked and opened our room door despite check out being at 12 and we clearly said to wait. other than that noice reduction was great and we slept well, room and bathroom were clean. We dint use other facilities so can’t comment on these.

Hotel and environment is clean and neat. It’s little far from city if you don’t have a car.
In our rooms they have set Aircondition timer on to save power, I think… so on both rooms they are automatically turning off every hr or so.
Then it’s becoming very hot to sleep.
We complained this matter since our first day and on all other days !!
Unfortunately no action has taken. This affected our sleep on all 4 days.

Easy to get to from Munich. Staff was friendly and helpful, dining was good. We had dinner several times and were quite pleased. The breakfast buffet was fabulous. Only thing that could be better was the AC didn’t cool well. Luckily, the weather was cool enough that we opened the windows and were fine.

Very posh feeling to this property. Parking area is small, but the hotel climate makes up for it. Lovely decor, attentive staff, updated facilities. Snack and citrus water in the lobby daily. Phone charging station near the bar. Mini fridge in the room. Air-conditioning, although we could not figure out how to make it stay on continuously, and had to use the timer.
Handicap-accessible room had an excellent no-threshold shower with double glass folding doors. Best accessible shower I have ever seen. Japanese style toilet/bidet.
This property was slightly hard to find a short way off of the highway, but it was worth it. Best hotel we’ve used in Germany.

19 KM from downtown Munich, however they provide good information on local public transit. It is a very short walk to bus, short ride to train(S-Bhan) not so bad ride on train into Munich. total round-trip cost $12 euros.

Overall a good hotel with on site bar/pub and restaurant.

We stayed here while visiting Munich, it's a long way pt but public transport is cheap and regular. You can buy family all day pass for €16 for up to 5 persons.

stay away from rooms on upper floor

i was probably unfortunate to gwt room 409. it is the attoc and therefore 50% of the room has a slanted ceiling due to the roof, and you cannot stand up. the room, already small to begin with, becomes unisable fpr half. very unpleasant. secondly, to get to it, i had to walk to a distant part of the hotel, where a secondary elevator takes you to the attic after a long long walk through hallways. if you have 2 luggages and carryon like me it is a nightmare. had it not been for this it would have been a mediocre hotel. the parking is open and not secure. and the decor is not really modern. only positive note is the breakfast which is nice.

A good place to stay to visit Munich.

Nearest rail station 2KM served by buses every 20 minutes or easy parking if you have a car. 20-25 minute rail trip into the city center. Hotel serves a good breakfast and evening meals.

Cosy hotel for a good night's rest

It was a pleasant stay. The room is big and cosy, bed is OK as well. Several kind of pillows with various herb and other filling are available on request. Minibar (a bit pricey), that can be used to chill own drinks as well, 40\" TV, but mostly German language programmes available. Air-conditioning for the hot summer days, Nespresso machine with free capsules for caffee and hot chocolate.

Local area is perfect or shopping. The hotel is on one side of a big Outlet center with ample number of shops. Dining out is a bit more problematic, but who likes the Asian cuisine, can find an all-you-can-eat or a'la carte Chinese-Japenese-Thai-Wok-Sushi-Etc. restaurant 5 minute away (and a McDonald's :-)). The hotel has it's own restaurant as well, though I did not try. WiFi is also good, ample bandwidth is available all the time, no net lag.

Good deal with minor flaws

Our room in the top floor under the roof of the hotel was nicely decorated but it took time to get used to the partly oblique room walls against which I hit my head twice. Breakfast was excellent with a lot of variety. I could not obtain a local map showing the hotel location and the receptionist's information regarding the best highway exit to reach the hotel was evasive and turned out to be incorrect.

Quiet and cozy hotel

It's a bit far away from the city center, but was not an issue for us as we drove to park & ride. The room is not big but clean and cozy. We were lucky to have our two booked rooms next to each other and with balcony connected. The staff are all very nice and friendly except one (cannot recall her name). One staff gave us local tour tips patiently and another helped us activate my prepaid SIM card as we don't speak German. The restaurant gardener is beautiful for dining, but wish the bar had been rebuilt.

We picked this hotel because it was close to where a friend lives. The price was very reasonable and the room was very clean and quiet. The breakfast (which is included) was fabulous! Anything and everything you could want. It is also a couple minutes walk from some outlet stores like Nike, Esprit, Puma and more. You can also catch a bus and train into Munich without too much difficulty.

surprisingly nice hotel

This hotel, while located 15 miles from the center of Munich was in a nice location, next to a small village. It has a small delicacy store nearby and a major german furniture mega-store. Access to S-bahn train to Munich was only 5 miles away in Feldkirchen providing rides cheap to Munich central train station (daily card good for a full day). The room was spacious, the beds were comfortable, the morning breakfast had plenty of selection. Overall very satisfied for the service received.

Great food in the restaurant. Biggest drawback is the price (£260 for sun and mon) and location. A bus and train ride from central Munich, 10+ euros, 1 hour. The hotel is located next to a retail park, you'll see nothing of Bavarian life nearby! This is a businessman's hotel...

Traveling to visit Munich

Location ok for casual traveler but inconvenient for those wanting to visit Munich. Access via Metro and bus or commuter train. 2nd floor room had gable slant that created head bump hazard. Good fitness facilities.

The Erb is a good place to stay when visiting the Trade Fairs as it is very convenient. They alos run shuttle services to the trade fairs which is a great help on travelling arrangements. I would definately stay at this hotel in the future.

Nice hotel, quickly getting to Munich downtown

The hotel is very cozy and nice. It is about 18km away from downtown, but you get there in like 12-15 minutes with a car, or about 25 minutes with a train. All in all, the hotel is very affordable and comfortable with grate stuff and great wellness rooms... I would recommend it to everyone needing to stay in Munich.

Quiet Outside Munich

This hotel is a nice quiet hotel about 10 minutes outside of Munich to the East. Easy on and off the highway. Everyone we spoke with was very helpful and spoke some English. The room was a bit tight for our party of 3. It was clean and quiet. Our room rate did not include the breakfast buffet and is €13. It was a step up from our US typical continental breakfast but did not pay for a second breakfast-we opted to pick something up at the market in Munich. We visited over Easter so the Outlet Mall just down the block from the Hotel was not open - it did have a market and cafe which can be helpful and convenient. We would certainly stay again and recommend.
