In an industrial area next to a container storage yard. Very new highway exit, but hard to tell it is a hotel from outside. Very clean but Spartan. No soap in shower (one by sink which they expect you to use for shower as well, but you would have to exit the shower to get some soap, so not sure hot that works). We had not brought our own soap, so we had to skip showering.
Breakfast was simple but good. Service at breakfast also good. Front desk was closed before 7 pm so key left in lock box outside.

I visited this hotel at two different occasions during Covid lockdowns, transiting through Germany. They made a contactless check-in (got the room key from a code box), and gave takeaway breakfast. With free parking and wifi it's an exceptionally good deal for a basic accomodation near Munich. I appreciated the free beer in the fridge!

Bed and bath rooms very clean. There's a mini-fridge for longer stays. The breakfast spread was better than most places. Check-in easy and fast. They even let me in a little early than posted time. I have no complaints about the hotel other than it's location. It's 30 minutes away from Munich central, though not far from the mart. If you are driving it is close to major highways going north and south. I was on foot so it was a ten minute hike from the bus stop. Overall, I was happy with the place, just not where it's located.

Hotel Herian is near the convention center so we saved a few dollars staying there when there wasn't an exhibition underway. While more remote from Munich center than most may prefer, we had a car and the hotel was excellent for our needs. The staff was gracious, informative about the area, and accommodating.
The hotel has few amenities but as vacationers that wasn't important to us. It appears to be geared toward the business traveler offering clean and spacious rooms, free internet, and traditional German breakfast buffet. There is protected underground parking if desired.
We had been traveling for weeks and needed items washed. We were pleasantly surprised by Bridgette's (front desk) reply to our question about laundry services. Bridgette shared that the housekeeping staff would be willing to wash a limited number of items for free and only asked that we give them a small tip for their efforts which we did willingly.
Again, the only criticism .. if we can call it that... is that takes more time to get to Munich Center using public transportation because of its location. With our care, we were able to drive to the local train station about 10 minutes away, park for free, and ride into town for the day. Bridgette volunteered the money-savings tip to purchase a GROUP day pass that allows 4 adults to travel on any bus, tram or train in the inner circle for about 14 Euros. That was a bargain!
Overall, we enjoyed a pleasant 2-night stay with attentive staff.

Hotel strangely placed in what seems to me building designed for offices rather then hotel...
But for night or two while traveling - it is OK. My room was rather large and clean...and it had basic amenities. Very nice touch with complimentary sparkling water and beer in fridge !!! Free WI-FI worked great. Breakfast included in a room rate was in rather small dining room but sufficient.

This hotel was one of the best ones we stayed in when we visited Austria and Germany and stayed in 10 hotels over 14 days. The staff was lovely and the room came with complimentary water and beer! The breakfasts were quite nice as well. The location worked out well because while it isn't in the city, it is easy access to Munich. We used the train stop at Feldkirchen and a family day pass for public transportation to go into the city which saved us some money. One day, we were tight on time so we parked in the center of town for 20 Euros and when you factor in room price, we were far ahead from staying in the center to sleep.
The hotel is around the block (easy walk) from some outlet stores and so when my son wanted to stay in the room and be on the internet a little one morning, it gave me something to do nearby.

If you want to stay in this hotel, you will need transportation, in my case, a car rental.
The staff was amazing, the people in the reception was always willing to help and assist you. The guy in charge of the breakfast area was really nice.

Mancavano le tende per la luce e una lampada era rotta. Molto caldo appena entrati e non mi pare di aver visto un sistema di aria condizionata. Nulla di particolarmente gravoso si poteva stare benissimo lo stesso senza, ma visto il prezzo pagato per il pernottamento di una notte non sono contento di ciò che ho ricevuto.

Leider entsprach das Zimmer am Tag der Ankunft nicht unseren Erwartungen. Nachdem wir allerdings Rücksprache gehalten haben, wurde das Zimmer erneut gereinigt und Dinge wie der Föhn und der Duschkopf getauscht, sodass wir am Ende zufrieden waren.
Das Personal war freundlich und hat sich gekümmert und waren bemüht uns alles recht zu machen - eine nette Entschädigung gab es auch aufs Haus.

Hotel ist Preisgünstig, Hundefreundlich (Hund wohnt kostenlos) und die Mitarbeiter sind angaiert. Super ist es auch das es eine Ladestation für Tesla und reine Elektrofahrzeuge gibt. SCHADE DAS NICHT ALLE Arten von Anschlüssen vorhanden sind. Zur Zeit Besuches war leider der Frühstücksaal geschlossen und es gab nur ein vesperpaket anstatt des Frühstücks, das ist zwar gut gemeint aber der Müll der daurch entsteht ist nicht umweltfreundlich. Denoch haben wir den Aufenthalt genossen und waren mit dem Service des Prsonals sehr zufrieden. Lediglich die Austattung ist an vielen Ecken reperatur bedürftig. Z.b. angeschlagenes Waschbecken oder loser Drücker der Toilettenspülung.

Die Ankunft nach 22 Uhr war dank Schlüsselservice problemlos möglich.
Die beiden Hotelzimmer die wir gebucht haben, waren jeweils mit zwei Einzelbetten versehen, welche getrennt voneinander standen. Zusammenschieben ging ohne Probleme.
Allerdings war der Zustand der beiden Zimmer nicht gerade eine Augenweite. Das zweite Zimmer war ziemlich dreckig und die Kissen haben gerochen. Das erste Zimmer war von der Sauberkeit her in Ordnung. Jedoch ist beim reinen hinsetzten auf das Bett eine Rolle ausgebrochen.
An sich war alles im Zimmer schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Leider gab es auch keine Klima nur einen kleinen dreckigen Ventilator.
Nochmal würden wir diese Unterkunft nicht buchen.
Für 60€ die Nacht/Zimmer gerade so zu akzeptieren aber Preis-Leistung eigentlich nicht in Ordnung.

Proper German quality on hotels. All is clean and works. They had good breakfast and staff was polite. Parking was free and just in front of the hotel. Shops and restaurants are maybe 750m away so 10min walk.

Das Hotel ist von außen sehr modern, auch Innen ist es keinesfalls altmodisch, es ist sauber, sehr ruhig (zumindest Abends) und bietet Wohlfühlatmosphäre. Parkplätze sind genügend vorhanden und vor Allem kostenlos. Zimmer sind ausreichend groß und haben genügend Platz auch zum Arbeiten am Laptop.

Me perdí, me vinieron a buscar ya cerrada la recepción. El hotel está en un sitio super-silencioso, junto a una zona de tiendas, restaurantes e industrias, a un par de kilómetros de la estación del tren de cercanías S2: 'Grub Sud', 20 min de la Munich Hauptbanhof. A Grub se puede llegar desde muy cerca del hotel con el autobús 452. Desayuno digno de Heliogábalo, a base de 'animal grasiento', o sea, chacinería. Todo muy bien, el precio de unos 60 € por noche, en lo habitual-bueno.

Dejligt nyere hotel. Er velegnet som overnatning på langturen. Beliggende i kedeligt industriområde 20-30 minutters kørsel fra München, men tæt på autobahn. Alting fungerede perfekt, og som ekstra bonus var der gratis øl og vand på værelset.
