For the cost of the room, I think it was a pretty budget hotel. The room was tiny, but functional. However, there was chipped paint on the floor, some bugs on the bathroom floor, and the room was in general disrepair. The breakfast - that I thought was included - looked good, though I didn’t partake. I did appreciate the free beer in the mini bar and the complimentary pretzel upon arrival. Overall, it was just so-so for me.

Had no hot water for tea, asked for this was spoken to rudely! UK always have a kettle and tea bags/coffee etc in the rooms. We asked for a fan, which had a mind of its own! The curtains were coming off the rails! Water backed up in sink. Found sliver fish in the changing rooms in sauna area

The nearby neighborhood was beautiful. The service was amazing; there was breakfast every morning and bread left out during the evening.
I will rate it 4-stars overall due to the hours the front desk is open. As a tourist, it's hard to check-in at 3pm (local time) while carrying all of your bags and no staff to answer phones. A member from the custodial team was able to help me with my luggage. So I am thankful for that.

The Dormero Hotel is located in a quiet and clean suburban area, conveniently close to a local bakery, grocery stores, and takeaways, with public transport to Munich city center taking about 30-40 minutes. We spent three nights there at the end of September.

Unfortunately, we had negative experiences with room cleaning. Despite requesting daily towel replacements and cleaning, our room was never serviced during our stay. We often had to ask for towels and toilet paper at the reception, where staff struggled with English and were frequently unavailable.

I booked the Dormero for 3 nights for oktobertest and I was shocked the location or the hotel is 1 hour from the city center. It was advertised as 4 star hotel and near the city center. The hotel reception hours are from 1pm to 11pm and when you call the number during office hours no one picks up the call. Do not stay in this hotel because they are charging 4 star hotel rates and if you get moved to the adjacent property without your consent the bad hotel experience will happen and can ruin your oktoberfest holiday.
When we checked in the front desk at 830pm the rep informed us it was the decision of their boss without our consent that we are being moved to the adjacent property that houses refugees. The adjacent property does not look like a 4 star hotel but instead a dormitory or apartment type with no front desk, no telephone in the room, there were no bath towels or glasses and worst the view from the room was bland and the lamps were not working. We were informed the hotel was full and repeated it was the boss decision. The property we stayed in didnt feel safe and we had to endure staying for 1 night since there were no more available hotels for the night and transportation was limited . For our safety and sanity we checked out the next day and moved to a better hotel. This has been a horrible and traumatic experience for seasoned travelers.

Small hotel in a small town, rooms are fine but there were some issues. Elevator was down, so having to carry luggage up the stairs was not fun. Room was not that clean and did not have soap or shampoo.

Liked the large bed, though there was no mattress protector and the mattress was fairly dirty and had many stains. Guests and staff smoke frequently out front of the hotel and it wafts in the windows of the room, which I understand is a european custom, but as an asthmatic it was very difficult to breathe and there was no ventilation other than the windows in the rooms (no AC, no recirculating vents at all). Staff were ok but not very efficient, lighting options in the room were weird and there was no lowlight evening lighting, all very bright club/disco lighting. Ok if you want to be outside of town on the S-Bahn route for easy access to city center

The staff all seem pretty clueless, except the taller black porter who checked us in the first day. He was pleasant and helpful. Unfortunately the rest of the stay was a disappointment. The mattress was filthy and the sheets too small to stay tucked in. Cleaning staff barged in our room despite having a do not disturb on the door handle. Every night the overnight staff sat beneath our window yelling and smoking and there is no AC or ventilation in the room without the windows open. The toilet was slowly leaking onto the bathroom floor creating a constant puddle. No shampoo or lotion products, only a harsh “hand wash” in the shower. Really weird, variable color unpleasant lighting in the room, with no low light, or dimmable option for evening. I definitely wouldn't say it stands up to the #stayfancy hashtags posted all over their walls. But if #bedifferent means “be inhospitable and rude” then I guess they lived up to that. It is currently 2 AM and I wasn't going to bother with a review even but the smoke and the noise outside our window along with the staff’s response to a request for quiet being to loudly start singing at us, I can’t recommend this hotel to anyone.

I have stayed at this hotel in September for the past several years, and they had a storage room with plenty of fans to move hot air. I received a fan for my room, but when asking for other travelers in my group, the hotel manager said there were no fans available. This is not acceptable, and I will not be staying at this hotel again. A shame that corporate doesn't authorize amenities that would at least make the stay palatable.

The room was a south facing small room and had no fan to move hot air out of the windows. The hotel manager said that they had no fans, so we had to sleep hot and listen to street noise every evening.

If you are looking for a good price hotel this is your hotel. Is about 10 minutes walking from the train station, it quiet and clean. They didn’t make my room but I guess that is part of the policy. The fridge had some beverages like beer, water and juice complementary of the hotel. The best thing was the morning breakfast it was amazing I recommend you buy it, it is worth it. The room itself had a queen size bedroom and bathroom

Nice hotel with good free breakfast. 5 minute walk to train station, 20 minute bus to Messe. Nice restaurants nearby. Hotel did not have air conditioning, so a bit warm in the room, apart from that, very clean, nice hotel.

Great option when Munich is crowded or expensive
It is a good hotel, not too far from the train station, very clean, confortable bed, with just a few small issues to solve, related to the bathroom: the shower water wet the bathroom floor and the shower support was loose and diverted the water jet from going to the body

Booked a twin. When booking in at 20.00 only a double left? Gave us a key to an already in use room. Eventually given last remaining room, initially ok even though a double but the doorlock on 154 kept sticking and would not allow key out, no reception staff, called number NO body answered. Eventually got a lady from kitchen who tried to help and got her key stuck also this arrived late for trip but managed to get on. Other than that a great stay.

The property is well situated with various businesses just across the street - Bakery, Grocery Store, Bank, and several small stores and shops nearby within the shopping center. Bus transportation is within 100 meters of the hotel entrance and connects to light rail into Munich. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The only item that didn't receive the highest rating was COVID influenced - some amenities were not available at the hotel, but these items should return once the pandemic subsides. I stay at Dormero every trip to Munich - always very satisfied with the quality and price.

My family and I really enjoyed our stay. The hotel is about 20 minutes away from München HBF by S Bahn, which may not be suitable for everyone. We weren't phased by this and loved the location. Heimstetten is a nice community and offers a welcome quiet break from the noisy Munich.
The hotel itself is excellent value for money, particularly the free minibar and movies on demand. The staff did an excellent job considering the the limitations imposed by the Corona restrictions. All in all, we plan to return to Munich once things get back to normal and we will definitely stay at the Dormero when we do.

The rooms are very big and comfortable. The pillows were a bit too soft for my taste, but still okay. Cleanliness could be improved — staff only came to change towels, but did not make the bed or clean the room, which was a bit unusual. In summer, many bugs and insects come in through the windows, and unfortunately, there is no fan or air conditioning. On the positive side, there is a minibar for refreshments and it’s easy to find parking.

Wir haben ein Zimmer von Samstag bis Sonntag gebucht. Leider waren an den Wänden Schwarzschimmelspuren in ausgeprägtester Form ersichtlich.
Hierbei verstehe ich nicht,wie man so ein Zimmer an zahlende Gäste vermieten kann.
Ich kann nur von diesem Hotel abraten. Denn seine Gesundheit sollte einem das doch Wert sein hier nicht zu buchen.

Naja, wir waren schon öfters da und sind zufrieden, da wir dies als reine Schlafstätte bei dem Besuch unserer Enkel betrachten. Rezeption von 13 bis 23 Uhr besetzt heißt auch, dass außerhalb der Zeit niemand zu sprechen ist. Und irgendetwas ist immer defekt. Dieses Mal wars der Fernseher, Zimmerwechsel war unproblematisch. Im anderen Zimmer spritzte der Duschkopf in alle Richtungen. Aber das Hotel ist sauber, Zimmer groß genug. Reinigungspersonal brauchen wir für die Zeit nicht, ist auch keines da. Das Frühstück kostet extra 19 Euro p.P. ist aber seinen Preis wert.

Wunderschönes großzügiges sauberes Zimmer mit riesigem Flachbildfernseher mit einem Mega bequemen Bett. Badezimmer ausreichend groß. Insgesamt ohne Heizung sehr warm im Zimmer und auch hellhörig, wenn Gäste mitten in der Nacht Anreise. Rezeptionistin sehr freundlich. Gratis WLan, Minibar, Haustiere und Parkplätze auch an der Straße zu finden. Direkt gegenüber Nette und sehr gut besuchte Bäckerei, Frühstücksbuffet daher ausgelassen. Sonntags sogar Late-CheckOut bis 14 Uhr möglich. Nette und ruhige Ortschaft mit sehr vielen Einkaufsmöglichkeiten im angrenzenden Einkaufszentrum. Wir würden hier wieder übernachten.

We only stayed one night to go to a concert. The receptionist was sweet, even though they couldnt find our reservation.
But the room could use some improvements. The shower was terrible (very weak Water pressure). The room was soooo hot, so we didnt sleep well, and when we tried to open the windows it almost got off. Also no trash can in the room and even though the mini bar was Free, it was warm (it was in a fridge)
