We had a blast at the Inlet!!! The staff is so helpful and customer focused!!! Breakfast delivered to your room every day was fantastic!! It’s right in front street so we never had to use the car. Walked up/down the waterfront, shopping, food, boat ride!!!! Amazing! Will never stay anywhere else again!!!
Jeff

Beautiful views, friendly staff, walking distance to everything
Patrick
My wife and I recently visited the Inlet Inn. The waterfront location is perfect, within very short walking distance to ferry boat rides, nice restaurants, shopping and historic homes and churches. The staff at the Inlet Inn was extremely friendly and helpful; check-in/out was a breeze. Our rooms (due to our late booking we had to change rooms) spectacular! Both rooms were very spacious. The first had a large balcony overlooking the water. The second had a large bay window overlooking the water with a reading nook. As far as the amenities, you won’t find the usual chain hotel perks (workout facility, pool, restaurant/bar) but we really enjoyed the Inlet Inns amenities. Continental breakfast delivered to our room each morning. Free self parking onsite- a really great benefit in this parking challenged town. A gorgeous courtyard with native plantings. And they have a spacious lounge overlooking the water. As far as attractions, we really enjoyed the ferry boat ride to Shackleford Banks island to see the wild horses and on the way back the Captain spotted a pod of dolphins feeding. At one point they were only 20 yards away! And don’t miss the Saturday morning Farmers Market (also walking distance from the hotel). One of the best we’ve been to. We highly recommend the Inlet Inn!

This is one of my favorite places to stay. It’s so quaint, clean and the staff is so friendly. The warm muffins and coffee delivered to your room in the morning to enjoy on the balcony overlooking the water is a huge plus as well.
david
Great location, room was a little old. Price matched the condition.
Miranda
Love the breakfast and the Widows Walk. Love the waterfront breeze and the mom-and-pop feel. This is one of our favorite weekend retreats.
William
Breakfast was delicious. I was not expecting such a generous choice. Parking was convenient and safe. The room was lovely and very comfortable bed. The inlet is located right in town with an easy walk to shops and many great restaurants
Marsha
Love the location, park your car and walk to restaurants and shops. Staff is friendly and the property is beautiful. Can usually see wild horses across the sound.
Marshall

Tina
Staff was very friendly and view was absolutely beautiful.
Tony
Room view over Taylor's Creek was breath-taking. Watched 3 wild horses grazing on Carrot Island from our balcony for several hours.
Sheryl
Everything was perfect!

This is my second time staying at Inlet Inn, and it was quite enjoyable. The staff are very friendly and the one at the front desk offered me all the suggestions and told me about places to explore in the area. It’s a great location from walking and also to head out and drive to nearby spots or take the ferry, which is right out front to some of the most popular destinations I enjoyed the lookout for watching the sunset and chatted with other guests who had spotted a horse on carrot island that morning I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a cozy bright and relaxing place to stay.
Trista
Easy secure parking, within walking distance to almost anything you could want. Loved our stay!

Kirk
Great staff, lovely room in a terrific location.
Carol
I would stay here again and I have already recommended the Inlet to several people. The staff was wonderful. They bring complimentary breakfast to the room. Rooms were nice and very clean. Also, it was situated right near the ferry to the island of wild horses. There are nice restaurants right across the street. They have a very nice lookout space both inside and out where you can sit and read with your coffee and see the island with the wild horses. I highly recommend.
Joseph
Great hotel, great location. Way better than the chain hotels.
Sarah
What a lovely experience. Beautiful location, tasteful, clean room, balcony overlooking the water, breakfast brought to your room. Friendly staff.
Justin
Nice room facing the water. Fit and finish was a bottom the old side but comfy and homey. Bed was comfortable and ceiling fan was strong (which I love).
Renee
The people at check-in bent over backwards to accommodate us and were very friendly. We called in a breakfast order and one of the items was missing so a little disappointed in that. Did not realize it till we had the car packed and getting ready to get on the road.
Karen
Very clean. Quiet. Nice amenities.
John
All great as usual. Hope to come back.
Richard
Well located to docks and boat excursions. View from room and balcony of boat activity and water. Close to shopping and dining. Breakfast quickly delivered to your door after phone ordering. Pleasant room and grounds. We hope to return another time.

We love the Inlet Inn. It was not our first stay and it will not be the last. The Inn is beautiful, comfortable, a great location and the service is great. My only complaint is that our stay was not long enough.
Lindsay
What a perfect location! We were close to everything we wanted to do while we were there. Check in was friendly and easy. The complimentary breakfast brought to the door each morning was just what we needed to get our day started. It was such a delightful, clean space. Thank you!

Best Location in Beaufort
We were in Beaufort for the Historic Old Homes Tour and it was centrally located for this event so that we could walk to all of the homes and gardens on the tour. We never had to use our car for dining or shopping either because of its location within walking distance of everything there is to do in Beaufort.
Gayle
Absolutely enjoy our overnight stay. Wish it had been for much longer. The Inn itself is beautiful. The staff was sweet and amazing. The continental breakfast was excellent and served on a tray to your room! The shampoo, lotion, hand wash, smelled so good I had to buy some to take home with me. If I could I would literally move in. Just go there. It’s lovely and you can walk to many shops, restaurants, boat tours, and of course the beach is great also
Linda
Great view of Taylor's Creek. Convenient to restaurants and shopping.

Andrea
Very convenient/walkable to shopping, dining, and activities. Our view from room 303 was beautiful and the atmosphere in general is relaxing. The staff was very nice and helpful. It's an older place but well maintained, clean, and quaint. My only issues are that I didn't know that the entrance to parking is on Queen Street (a one way street) and I had a hard time getting to parking (especially with construction). Also more breakfast offerings would be nice. The website states quiche as an option but they only offered muffins, bagels, yogurt and oatmeal, plus beverages. I will stay at the Inlet Inn again. I was very pleased.
Dolly
Very nice property and would stay here again

This property was really great, our room was so spacious and clean. We absolutely loved the window seat and the view. Complimentary breakfast was delightful. Caitlyn was very sweet delivering to us each day with friendliness.
We loved having the sink separate from the toilet and shower area HOWEVER, the shower head needs to be changed to a more up to date shower head with much more pressure. We could hardly get the shampoo rinsed out of the hair. The linen was great, towels and sheets. Beds comfortable too.

I almost don’t want to give an outstanding review then there won’t be room for us to stay again!! But I won’t. Amazing place to stay in Beaufort. Walkable to shopping, restaurants, and historic sites. Room is clean, spacious and comfortable. Bed is comfortable. Only suggestion would be to include more pillows. We will most definitely stay here again!!
