Charity
Unhappy on how the hotel handled the reservation
Marian
Hotel had lost power the night before and the check in system was down. Therefore no reservations could be accessed, key cards had to be programmed individually at room door, staff were having to keep paper logs, doors to pools and gym were not able to be accessed by room cards and situation caused a lot of confusion. Pool area was not kept clean (there was a broken glass outside our entire stay), pool towels were never stocked, bathrooms were clogged, trash cans overflowing, and patio cushions were thrown all over. Staff tried to make the best of an overwhelming situation but seemed to be understaffed as well.
Scott
The property could have been better maintained and the room cleanliness was atrocious. The blanket and sheets had stains and some hair was noted in the bed as well. On the bright side the staff went out of their way to make it right. Lastly the bed was way too soft. I hope that they address these issues.
Barry
Did not care for the breakfast. If you are a health conscious person, then you will like the breakfast, however, if you like a waffle or pancakes and sausage or bacon during the week you can forget about it, not happening.
Emily
Fresh, clean, accessible
Joanna
Clean, comfortable. The room layout is a good set up. Feels roomy, unlike most hotel rooms. Also, bathroom had good counter space.
Celia
Put me in the incorrect room- part of a two room thing - I paid for more and even though they said they would move us they did not. Our room which was to be a king room only had a desk chair and a bed-nowhere to put luggage but desk. Offered to give us a free night at Marriott but we do not travel much where we need a hotel so that is useless to us. Breakfast was horrible- long waits in lines and never refilled muffins bagels bread etc
Suzanne
Great breakfast options. Very please with the stay.
Donald Ray
It's a nice hotel and is located in a good location. Oneof my issues was the rooms facing the high gets alot of highway noce all night, also several of the dishes and utensils has dried food on them.
Nichole
Clean, well maintained. Beds were comfortable. Location was great. Overall a great stay.
Colleen
Amazing free breakfast that was part of your stay. It was fresh and lots of options vs. other locations.
Candy
The room was very nice, clean, comfortable, and breakfast was great. The only negative is the parking lot you have to drive through to get to the property, it's awful. I would still stay here again anytime.
Sandra

Every employee I interacted with was above and beyond nice ! The kitchenette is well stocked if you plan to be there long enough to use it. I would definitely return and stay again if need be.
Rhonda
Room was spotless!
Nicolas
We were in town to visit our son for the Thanksgiving holiday weekend and see the Vols Vandy game. Was a great experience at Element! Very clean and spacious rooms (1 bed + living room/sofa bed). We would definitely stay again. The only suggestion would be that their washer/dryer machines were rather dirty (gum, dirt, etc) and could use a thorough cleaning. Other than that would highly recommend!
Stephanie
All staff were extremely friendly. Room was very clean and spacious and was conveniently located near many places for food and entertainment.
Penny

I stay here often. The best breakfast ever!
Mykhailo
Dirty towels, a bad-smelling room, and awful personnel. They charged my credit card three times for incidentals and couldn't explain why they did it. They could only tell me that the money should be returned in 3 to 5 business days. This is the worst customer service. They communicated to me like I owed them money. Do not stay at this place!!!
Rhonda
The staff is awesome!

Great little hotel
Great little hotel. Would totally recommend! My only suggestion would be to bring earplugs because it is a pet friendly hotel. Would definitely stay here again.
Shawn
Great hotel!
I’ve stayed here several times. It’s my go to hotel when I’m passing through Knoxville. The property is always clean, comfortable, and quiet.

Everything is wonderful. I was there for my birthday weekend with my wife and it was a great weekend.

Very conveniently located off the highway. Lots of dining chairs within walking distance. Excellent included breakfast. Only issue is highway noise

Not the cleanest
Cleanliness was an issue all dishes were clearly Just wiped and not cleaned. Some sticky spots on wall. Looked like spilled pop.
Housekeeping knocked on our door at 9:30 and at 10:30 when our checkout was 12:00. We were frustrated because we got woke up from sleeping.

We booked online and the room we wanted was sold out. When we check in our more expensive room was not what we got. We were to have a pull out sofa for the higher price. We ended up with a handicap room no sofa.
I will be wary of booking a room online. Front desk employees were great. Mary Barnes

We stayed at the Element in Huntsville and it was fabulous. This establishment was not at all like that one. The staff was unprofessional, we checked into our room and the door wouldn’t shut because the lock was broken, and there was only one employee that was having to take care of everything. We do not plan on staying at this location again.

Everything was great!

I stayed at the Element in Chattanooga which was amazing. It was clean and beautiful so I decided to book in Knoxville. The hotel was dirty and not taken care of like the one in Chattanooga. For some reason we were given a handicap room practically in the parking lot. The room was gross. The sink had what looked like a massive pile of chia seeds in the sink drain that we had to flush down. The handicap shower was gross. Had some hair and a moldy gross shower curtain. I would’ve requested a different room, but at that point we were so tired and were only staying half the night so decided to brave it.
