The apartment was very clean, beds were comfortable, & plenty of space, with amazing balconies.
One of the showers was lovely, the other one, a shower over the bath could have done with replacing, the small mosaics tiles on the wall used to come off on a daily basis.
The swimming pool was good too, and always plenty of sun beds.
Staff were lovely and helpful, especially the reception staff.
Marco, and also Yasmin, who was warm and very thoughtful, she dealt with my foot when I had a small accident....thank you, you were amazing.

We complained to Hilton and then got moved to main hotel section after 4 days. While at hotel section we really enjoyed our stay

I expected to stay at the Hotel as all my contacts were in the Hotel. When we had dinner half a mile away in the Hotel some times the lights were off and at 90 years old my wife and I had struggle to avoid an accident. I complained to the Hotel but was it changed. NO. The price at the apartments kept changing first it was under 2000 euros then it went to 2000 and when paid the final account it was over 2400 euros. Never again will we use your company. (what hot pool). we never heard of it.

Apartments that easily rival a villa environment in fit out and space however also boast being fully serviced with facilities on your doorstep.

We qualified for free spa access through Hotels.com silver tier, which was fabulous - one of the best pool environments we used with large areas to relax and multiple options such as a Turkish Bath, shower experiences, hydrotherapy experience, sauna etc.

Apartments are run down and need repaired and updated. Sink unit wasn’t level on the wall in the bathroom, curtains had holes and were grey, leather sofas cushions were sliding off the frame.
Pool areas very clean and well kept and restaurants and access to facilities in Hotel were exceptional although staff were less attentive when they knew you were from apartments. Staff at apartments were very helpful.

We’ve stayed at this Hilton numerous times - it’s always our go to. Lots of positives - rooms and bathrooms clean and fresh, beds comfortable, staff friendly, good pool selection, good breakfast, grocery shop within walking distance.
Only a few grumbles - towels / toilet rolls / tea and coffee / water often weren’t replenished (we were self catering); swimming pool surface is unnecessarily rough - hard to sit on to relax and I heard a lot of kids round the pool with scraped knees / feet/ snagged swimwear; food and drink expensive but I guess that’s just hotel rates. People get their towels on loungers early - they should discourage this as it means you’re often stuck with somewhere to sit at peak times and encourages a “if you can’t beat them, join them” mentality

Our welcome at reception was excellent. Our room was very clean and overlooking the pool. We arrived late but could still order food at the Rubi bar. There was a singer that made the evening more enjoyable even though we were tired from travelling. Beautiful grounds, the gardens are very well kept with some amazing flowers. We used all the facilities and felt very safe and comfortable. The indoor swimming pool came in very handy for the children as the outside pools were cold during February (although that didn’t seem to stop them). The Spa is wonderful and very happy that the children could go in from 9.45-11am. The Spar shop was only 15 minutes walk away and the complementary shuttle bus to the Marina was a great addition. It was quiet, we felt we had the whole place to ourselves. The atmosphere was calm and relaxed. Just a few things I would change. The pillows were very high, the children and I found them to be uncomfortable. The furniture was a little dated and on closer inspection had chips and scratches however this didn’t effect our stay. The internet was a little slow at times which was frustrating as my husband was working. Overall a great hotel.

This is a four stars hotel, not five. You need to walk to the affiliated hotel to get pool towels, ice and take the shuttle to go to the marina. The room furniture need to be upgraded. Housekeeping- they were unable to provide daily small face towels.

The Hard bed let the place down

The Weather was good for the first week of May 28c , the facilities were excellent , the property had everything and more that you would have in your home . you could avail of the Breakfast in the Main Hotel. This was great value for money. we eat in the restaurant on one evening the food was Average not 4 star standard and some of what we asked for was wrong .the space was cold and lacked atmosphere , whilst there another table were complaining about their order , the bar food during the day was better than the restaurant and the service from the staff both in the morning and at lunch was far better Friendly and seemed more engaged. Apart from the dining experience the only other issue I had was with the Bed . its was like a rock not to my preference .i said it to the girl on reception when I was leaving because overall the stay was fantastic and I don't like to give a review without telling the Hotel . great value for Money , Private quiet , i just had to sleep on the couch .it would be 10/10 if not for the bed and the evening restaurant .

Although the staff were friendly enough, definitely would not return. My best interpretation of this “5 star” resort is the stepchild of the Hilton. Although you can utilize the amenities and restaurants from the Hilton, it’s a little walk. I ended up checking out after 24hrs of overheated tile floors and an ant infestation in the master bathroom. Checked into the Wyndham Grand Algarve about 20 min drive away and had the most amazing stay of my life.

Vanessa at front desk was informative and a pleasure. It was great to share ammenties with the hilton as they are attached. Was sad that people found our front desk to be small. Our suite was bigger than our house so you cantvhave everything. If you like small hotel rooms or prefer suites with ample space and all amenities of home. Personally we loved having space and not the hissle & bustle of a hotel. Cant wait to go back next year.

These are lovely apartments within the Hilton complex in Vilamoura. While benefiting from the hotels facilities we found the apartments more spacious and quieter than the hotel.
Having their own friendly reception and parking was a bonus. Our apartment was cleaned daily and was spotless if a little tired.
We really enjoyed our stay and will return.

We stayed in 2 bed apartment which was excellent. Plenty of room for the 4 of us, with a great kitchen , 2 bathrooms,large lounge area and 2 balconies.
Nearest supermarket is a 10 minute walk and marina was a 5 minute drive away ( 4 euros via Uber or use the free hourly shuttle).
We also had full use of the excellent Hilton Hotel facilities next door and enjoyed the amazing breakfast there every morning ( worth prepaying for).
I would thoroughly recommend these apartments.

We had an incredible week at this resort, with an immaculate 1 bedroom apartment that was beautifully appointed, luxurious, clean, and peaceful!

We stayed last week when the resort was quiet, which for us was the perfect time. Being a silver member with Hotels.com, we got access to the spa every day which in itself was incredible value for money! I would highly recomment this place and we'll definitely be back! Great staff as well, who were extremely frinedly and accomodating. First class!

Whilst I stayed in a spacious property (far too big for one person), the experience was less than ideal. The service from the hotel was clumsy and lacking in any cohesion which led to a very frustrating and disappointing stay.

The apartments are not in the hotel itself, they have their own reception further up the road which the sat nav couldn’t find. When I arrived the parking is easier than the main hotel.

On check in, the room I was assigned was enough for a family of four. I was travelling alone - what a colossal waste of space. The apartment itself is bizarre as each room is separated giving the feeling of being in a house. The apartment doesn’t have any tea, coffee and water available which I would have thought would be standard for a property of this rating. I even asked for the reception to provide these which I asked to pay for, they said they couldn’t get these from the main hotel - absolutely baffling.
Other things like they didn’t have an iron in the apartment, or a corkscrew.
It didn’t help that my room was opposite some private houses where they had dogs barking very late into the night keeping me awake.
The free spa is great if you’re there 10-4 (I was there for work so never got the opportunity to use it and they didn’t tell me the opening times).
There is no information in the rooms about places to go, or information about the hotel. I know Covid has stopped some of that happening but to have nothing was strange.

The property is very luxurious and peaceful. The surrounding areas including the hilton hotel are just absolutely beautiful. Its very tranquil and is designed to encourage relaxion and rest. My family loved it all. The staff printed out docs for my return flight, offered a free late check out and all n all were fantastic. Spa treatment was super and the free shuttle to marina and beach a god send.

We liked the size and style of the room, although a little tired. Instead of a DVD player, there should be the ability to connect your phone via Bluetooth.
When we arrived, the cot was not in the room, even though we requested it weeks in advance. Our baby really needed a nap and we had to wait over an hour for the cot to arrive.
'one free spa service per day for 2 people' is misleading. It should read, 'one free spa access per day for 2 people'
7 Spa should not offer a 20 EUR 'polish me' service, if they really do not want to do it.

Wonderful place with a swimming pool to suite all tastes.
Apartment was spotless and a very good size for a 2 bed. One twin room and one king size with en suite with a separate shower room as well. A long style galley kitchen and Tvs in every room.
Staff are excellent from check in, to breakfast and the maids.
During the pandemic crisis, the buffet style breakfast is not a help yourself style anymore and does lead to some queueing but nothing too bad.
Free wifi in the As Cascatas side of the resort and pool towels can be picked up which also a bonus.
You can also use the free Hilton minibus to get from the hotel to the Marina and to the beach, and again the drivers are a credit to the hotel.
Only used the park once, i think the downside which the park lacked was a normal swing, but there was lots of other things to keep the kids entertained.
A very family orientated place so it was very peaceful at night.
Cant wait to go back

We had an excellent time but even though it was only September it did feel like the place was winding down for end of season. Not much atmosphere. Could have done with more music which would have made for a better atmosphere around the pool areas. Only thing we found was that the food was expensive. We found a much cheaper place to eat about 10 mins walk away called Sailors Corner. We had a huge 3 bedroom apartment with 4 bathrooms and a hot tub on one of the terraces. Exceptionally clean. All staff were very friendly and helpful. Would definitely return here.

Having booked this hotel last year, after using the spa facilities on our last day after checking out from the how across the road, we looked forward to seeing how it would deliver. Simply wonderful!
Very friendly and helpful receptionists, waiting staff as well as everyone else working at Hilton As Cascatas Golf and Spa.
We had a room upgrade which was a lovely gesture and this gave us even more space having the 2 bedroom luxury suite.
It offers everything you need to make it a pleasant stay where you can choose to either go to on of the various restaurant on site or nearby using the shuttle bus to th2 marina. Alternatively, to do some self catering on the odd night. It does miss an oven glove so be mindful of this however trivial it is.
The suite (as is the whole complex) is clean, well presented and offers a comfortable bed (except for the pillows that were very (too) soft but that's a personal preference).
Various pools are on offer, towels for by the pool are provided with comfortable sun loungers. At times the music by the main pools was a bit overbearing although this wasn't always the case. You can opt for the romantic pool which is quieter and more relaxed.
Overall As Cascatas offers all you could wish for to relax or be active with a well kitted out gym downstairs and golf nearby at one of the many courses in Vilamoura.
Very well recommended for anyone that would like to explore the Algarve.

Just returned from 7 days from As Cascatas and I think there are positives and negatives about this place. It is lovely but I think far from fantastic.
PROS:
- Kids club ladies are just fantastic, super super lovely and friendly. My girls loved!! The playarea itself is fantastic as well. But the ladies working there are definitely the best part of As Cascatas.
- Swimming pools are great! We stayed most of the time at As Cascatas pool and it was fantastic. There was a bit of chair reservation but nothing much and we always got a couple of chair. Guests always friendly, loads of kids playing, really really fantastic.
- Breakfast was great too! Same thing every single day but enough that you could vary yourself.
CONS
- The apartments are quite run down! We stayed on 113 and the furniture is quite old, the bathroom shower of the guest bedroom was black on the joints, it just feels old in general. Creamy leader sofas were comfortable but quite ugly. Walking around I saw that there were newer ones, make sure you ask for it.
- I thought that the reception at As Cascatas weren't very friendly

Staff very friendly and can not do enough for you.
The only down side was the pool could do with a clean as the drainage around the edge of the pool showed signs of green moss, otherwise the pool itself was lovely.

The bar entertainment and ambience was appalling; the staff were fine-not rude but not overly helpful or friendly; the pools were great but we couldn’t get a sunbed until 4pm each day all week. Most were reserved by people leaving their towers there early in the morning. Despite signs to discourage this, it was not monitored or enforced. The ice-creams ran out halfway through the week. Half the machines in the games room didn’t work.
I won’t be coming back to this hotel. Not a patch on the Four Seasons.

Fantastic location, apartments, pools, shuttle to marina, pool bar & main bar, golf course & staff all amazing especially Vanessa whose interaction with children is a shining example for all. Taxis easy to achieve via hotel or Uber. Golf & souvenir, jewellery, fashion shop in Hotel
Nearest shop (spar) 850m easy walk but would need trolley bag or car for heavy items, bar/restaurants adjacent. Michelin star restaurant just around corner.
We shall definitely return.

This property was excellent. It is actually part of the Hilton hotel complex, so you have all the hotel facilities and restaurants available if you want. The apartments are stunning, very clean with daily chamber maid service, good air conditioning and quality furnishings and fittings. It was a very quiet resort but within a comfortable 25 minute walk to the Marina. There were regular shuttle buses to the Marina from the hotel. Would highly recommend As Cascatas.

Beds and sofa bed not the most comfortable and charged €30 per day for making up a sofa bed which was not mentioned when booking, room description was king size bed and sofa bed. The property was ok and overall had a nice 3 days. Good it’s linked to Hilton hotel so you can use there restaurant and bars.

Great location, approximately 20 minutes walk to marina. Fabulous accommodation with well equipped kitchen including washer/tumble drier and a dish washer. High quality bed linen and towels.
Staff very polite and cannot do enough to make your stay as enjoyable and relaxing as possible for you. Free courtesy shuttle to and from beach/marina.

Would have appreciated a small limited welcome pack of coffee, milk etc .
Whilst breakfast was very good , the evening meal ,particularly the main meat and fish options ,was poor.

The apartment was perfect for a family, we stayed in a 2 bed and it is was excellent. Under floor heating for the colder days and was fully equipped offering everything we needed. With full access to the Hilton hotel provided use of the heated indoor / outdoor pool,although this could have definitely been warmer. Breakfast at the Hilton was also excellent.

Fantastic apartments 5 mins drive from the Marina

We had a wonderful stay at the As Cascatas apartments. The apartment itself was huge with plenty of space, it was very modern and very clean. The beds were extremely comfortable. The pool was lovely and you are also able to use all of the other Hilton pools and facilities. The staff were very helpful and couldn't do enough for you. We had a later flight and asked if it would be possible to have a late check out and they let us keep the apartment until 1pm and also looked after our cases while we were out for the afternoon. The location is excellent approx. 6 euros for a taxi to the marina. We will definitely return.
