Apartments are spacious, clean, and well equipped. Unfortunately there is no heat in the cold winter evenings so we were cold at night. The pool area was nice with entertainment during the day - I really enjoyed the saxophone player. The pool is not heated. The food from the pool bar was good. The hotel is in a good location. A couple of minutes down the hill to the main strip and beach and a couple of minutes up the hill to the bus stop to go to Arrecife or the airport. There is a supermarket next door which is really handy.

The hotel condition was ok over all, the appartment they gave us had the worst location, even we asked by email to have an appartment near the pool, and without stairs, because we have a 3 years old baby. The réception employees are not friendly, and don’t answer the guests requests.

Have stayed in better hotels. Hotel is average - good location and clean enough. However biggest let down is staff - unhelpful and unapproachable. Apart from entertainment staff that we couldn’t fault! They were great. However reception and bar staff left a lot to be desired. Also had a problem with cockroaches.
Lastly - only hotel I’ve ever stayed in on the island in 20+ years that I’ve had to set my alarm to get a sunbed! Good and bad points - depends on your compromise!

Single biggest negative about this hotel is the pool and sun loungers. People put towels out at night time for the next day to book sun loungers and the hotel don't enforce this. You can come to the pool at 10 am and every single sun loungers will have a towel on it yet there will only be about 15 people actually at the poolside. Everyone else has left their towel on and left. It's very annoying and the hotel or the life guards don't do anything about it.

Third time we’ve stayed here, won’t be back.
Check in time is not at 3 and rooms still being cleaned at 3.45. Not good enough. Had requested a specific block as stayed before. Eventually had to accept third room as receptionist was getting angry.
Location of room was awful, looking to public toilet.
Rooms are comfortable but won’t be back. Room location here is important as some are awful

Fabulous apartments! Cleanest one we’ve stayed in over the years! The free bottle of water was a lovely touch, and the iron, nespresso machine were unexpected too!! We were given the soap and sponges to wash up our dishes with which was great as we were only there for a few nights. We had a front area and rear garden almost, with 2 sunbeds, a parasol and an egg chair. The room was so spacious and the air con was fab. The pool was heated which was great & helping yourselves to sunbeds was ideal too! Can get busy by the pool with people reserving sunbeds but this wasn’t too much of an issue for us. Staff were very friendly, location was fabulous. Half way up the hill but not a long walk, and if you go the back streets the incline isn’t noticeable. Didn’t try the food but heard it was lovely. Overall 10/10, fabulous place to stay and will be returning.

Great holiday at Cinco Plaza

1 bed apartment. Extremely clean, a 2 ring hob, microwave, kettle, toaster &coffee machine. Hairdryer in the bathroom, supplied with toilet roll and washing up liquid. The aofa bed in the living not very comfortable and could probably do with an upgrade to an actual fold out double bed these are single. The 2 single beds in the bedroom not a double which would be nice. There are not the comfiest but the are ok. Wee stayed for 9 nights and bedding changed twice. Towels changed changed rver other day. The staff are very nice , extremely helpful. The cleaning staff work very hard and do a great job. They give your room a once over every other day. Plenty of sunbeds and great pools. 1 large pool, 1 small pool and a childrens water play area. The restaurant and bar serve good food and are very resonable. They are slowly revamping the whole complex which is not easy when its always busy but they atr trying.

Parts were a little tired with wear and tear, but to be expected given the price. As with most accommodation in lanzarote you hear your neighbours due to tiled floors and the lack of soft furnishings.

Somewhere to lay your head.

Complex is fairly big but needs a lot of love to fix the really tired facilities/rooms.

Bathroom was broken to bits. Have a shower and the toilet would get soaked. See pic.

Pool area is not managed properly as around 70% of sunbeds were reserved with no one on them for hours and hours. So many people couldn’t get any sunbeds.

Cinco Plazas was in a great location - very walkable to the beach and restaurant area. The staff was great and very friendly. There were lots of amenities- very nice pool area. The breakfast was our favorite - it was delicious and very plentiful! The rooms were very spacious and well equipped for cooking although the furnishings were a little sparse. Overall it was a very good place to stay with easy access to the airport as well as other attractions. I would stay there again. It is a good 3.5 star resort - but no complaints at all!!

One pool was freezing the other heated.
Great spot to the strip but up axateep hill if you don't have great mobility.

This is our third stay at cinco, didnt enjoy as much as previous, was too busy and getting a lounger around the pool was a real nightmare we were only able to go round the pool once in a week due to this. We counted 57 towels on loungers with no one using then the next day 53 absolutely disgusting and needs to be better managed. We spoke to reception who just told us to see the life guard but this should be monitered. Towels were being laid down at 4am as we arrived back to our apt. Never known it so bad. Not sure we would stay again during a busy time for this reason. Room was not cleaned enough, we were left with dirty towels and no toilet paper. Even after calling reception no one came with these. Shame as we had enjoyed previous stays.

Lots of apartments built around swimming pools. There's a cat area which is nice. Not a lot of parking available. 5 minutes walk from the beach via a steep hill. There's a supermarket next door and a pub/restaurant above it which is really good.

Great stay at the cinco apartments. Good location with less than a 5 minute walk to the main strip/beach. Large Supermarket across the street.

Would definitely stay again but earplugs are a must I'm afraid.

It may not be the case for the entire property but in the wing I stayed in the walls were like cardboard. I could hear the neighbors snoring!

I got earplugs on the second day at a local pharmacy and slept soundly for the rest of my stay.

The price of the hotel is so good that people presumably do not expect luxury. If they do they are not living in the real world!

Just back from a lovely week in lanzarote as always. Apartments are ideal! I found the cleanliness of our apartment upon arrival was not 100%- we ended up picking up some cleaning products in Lidi and doing our own. Floor was not swept- there was hair etc from previous guests. Beds were only changed once all week. But overall it is a great location

Nice apartments could do with better lighting. The space were the toilet is could be bigger. Gap and the bottom of the door could be sorted to stop cockroaches. Main pool is not great for sunbeds. They dont unlock them till 10am which is fine, but then there is no structure to where the sunbeds go. A lot of the umbrellas need to be changed. Aircon is good.
