Our flight was delayed and did not arrive until after midnight. The receptionist stayed back and was very helpful on arrival. Throughout the stay the property was well maintained, cleaned and room service could not be faltered. All staff were always welcoming and friendly. It is in a very quiet location but only 10 minute walk to the promenade. We really enjoyed our stay and look forward to going back.

The property was so well kept, staff were all very keen to help and had proud in their work. The apt was very spacious, clean had everything you needed if you wanted to do self catering.

We had an apt in the corner so we didn't have a front terrace or balcony which was a bit disappointing but it was nice and quiet and more privacy then.

Only negative comment, the towels seemed a bit old and therefore they seemed to have a strange smell (dampness) which was a bit off putting.

I would recommend this place to others and would certainly go again if I was in the same rersort.

Room was poor, it was like a cave, false advertising to say it has a balcony.
The balcony is below pool level offering views of staircases either side and facing the back of the bar. Almost no sun hits throughout the day.
Staff offered to change rooms later in the week but this never happened.
Would not recommend as you run the risk of getting one of these rooms.

Montana club suite refurbished apartments are lovely only downside for us was our bathroom on no 120 was disabled and nit refurbished this let down the apartment the shower was useless and with the disabled seat on the wall there was no room to turn in the shower. However the staff offered to move us after a fee days of arrival and me reporting the shower but i had unpacked and decided not to be bothered to shift everything so we made do. But otherwise lovely staff great wee complex very close walk to strip and spar 150mts away for essentials we really enjoyed it and would go back

It’s ok for what I paid… I stayed at the old part of the buildig, very clean and lovely attention from the reception (they allowed us to checkin early and check out late) which was a bonus
THE ISSUE: towels at the pool area, but I guess they can’t control that! If you like the pool make sure you put your towels there as early as 5am in the morning! I won’t be back

This was our third visit to Montana Suites and this time we stayed in a refurbished suite which was spotlessly clean and decorated to a very high standard. The only disappointment was the room we were located - suite 125 was tucked into a corner and backed onto a road as did our terrace. Apart from this we had a brilliant time and will definitely book again.

Perhaps leave some info on how things in the rooms work i.e) how to use the cooker. May be difficult for older people to work out. We thought ours was broken but the pot wasn’t compatible with it. Once that was sorted, it was a great thing to use. A bit of information needed about checking out. Checked out very early in the morning when everything was closed. Couldn’t lock the gate again with the key and didn’t know where to leave the key cards. Strange smell from air conditioner at times. Otherwise it was really lovely. Staff polite and the renovations have done wonders. Stayed here years ago.

These apartments are being renovated. There is only 1 pool and not 2 as advertised by hotels.com. There are too many people for one pool so by 7.15 am there are no sun loungers. There’s also some noise from drills and general renovations. There’s also a small of paint or chemicals. I don’t blame Montana as I see why renovations are needed. It’s tired and a lot of sun loungers are broken. The air conditioning is also not working probably due to renovations. Hotels.com should have informed us if the renovations. Also note that the photos on their site are the new and not completed rooms.

Our 3rd stay at Montana Club, it is a lovely quiet area, it is very central, spar 5 mins walk and 10 mins walk to main strip, staff very helpful especially Annabell who has great english. At the moment half of the apts are being renovated so its a bit noisy Mon to Fri with the builders working machinery which cannot be helped, as I was ill this visit we complained about the noise and were immediately offered another apt which was very quiet, The apts will be fabulous in July when the work is completed on half of them, the other half will be completed next yr.

2nd time and on both times been put in one of the two corner rooms 8 rooms in corner out of 50 odd rooms, it’s like been put in the dungeon, we like this hotel the location but can’t to take a chance and be put in the dungeon again and for that reason we will not be back, rooms could do with a facelift, our son and family stayed not to far away from us and there place was better for far less money,located handy for the strip that’s why we liked this hotel but as I have said it’s only because of the rooms in the dungeon

Although the food was nice and some staff members were cooperative. The rooms were damp, smelly and dirty. We were given a room which had damp pillows, over-used towels with holes in it. The fridge and tiles on the floor were in need of repair or replacement. The pool was nice but this morning we had a early flight but staff made no effort to provide us with breakfast even though we paid for it. Until 8.30 they could only offer us bland sandwiches. I would actually ask for a refund

I couldn’t of wished for a better stay here, the hotel had everything you needed. The air con was a lifesaver!
Ok the hotel might be slightly dated, but it was clean, had everything you needed, was a 2 min walk to the spa shop, and a 10 min walk to the seafront shops and restaurants. I very much doubt you could find anything better for the price paid for this hotel. We can’t wait to return :) x

Quite disappointing to have requested a pool view and being put in a room facing waste ground. We did get moved after 2 nights to behind the bar this gave us a partial pool view. I found the lady at reception very helpful and the lady behind the bar quite rude. I have stayed at these apartments before and had a better experience than this time. We would not return. Tip if you are booking request one of the apartments with a pool view. Avoid 225 as it has the view with waste ground and bin in the forefront.

2nd visit to Montana, nice apts in a great location with a Spar 5 minutes walk where you can get all you need. Cleaning was excellent 3 times in one week with clean sheets and towels replaced. Nice and quiet by day and by night, no troublemakers everyone just enjoying their holidays.

We checked in early as a few did, only to find that our rooms were not ready, 12pm. We knew that we wouldn't be able to check in early. However we left our cases to one side and went away to find our friends.
We came back after 2 and were able to check in. Took our cases to the room which was a good sized room, clean and tidy. Bathroom was also good, again clean and tidy as was the bedroom. We were on the ground floor which was great to begin with but after the first week we had a very inconsiderate family in the room above. For some reason at 4 am in the morning they had to move the beds round which caused so much noise that we were woken up and unable to get back to sleep. This wasn't just one night, but the last 3 nights of our 10 night holiday. If you book here try for an upstairs room if possible as if your downstairs and your upstairs neighbours have no consideration then you will be in the same boat as us. Other than this the Hotel was good and I would recommend this as a place to stay.

Chose this hotel entirely on the Expedia rating. So so disappointed to find when I arrived that my basement room was very damp with the bedroom in particular being almost uninhabitable. The beds really did feel wet. Bathroom and kitchen were very dated indeed with broken tiles and lights not working. The smell of mildew from the towels and other linen was overpowering. Truly awful place that ruined my trip entirely.

Tried my very best to stay for the full 6 days I had booked. Managed 4 days before I checked out and paid for another hotel. Did not once see a maid or cleaner at all during my stay.

I would recommend the bus shelter on the road outside before I would recommend Montana Club Suite.
Also I would strongly suggest that you take Expedia ratings with a pinch of salt. Definitely worth a bit more homework as in my experience these ratings can not be relied upon.

We had a very pleasant 2 weeks self catering, the accommodation was adequate, if a little tired, Beds were comfortable, the shower worked .
The on-site restaurant had a very limited menu, and was empty most nights
The sea front was a 5 minutes walk down a gentle hill passing the Spar supermarket on the way.
There was a dizzying array of places to eat , something for everyone.
A nice quiet site with no music around the freezing swimming pool.(it was December)

The outside and pool areas are nice but once in your room it's dated and tired. Could do to be updated and the rooms made more comfortable. We had two single beds with hard mattresses ,what happened to double beds ? Still a good location above the main strip with good access to all facilities.

Staff were lovely, food was very expensive, towels were only changed twice and the sheets were never changed once which is disgusting. Pool was nice and the location was good. There was no view from our room whatsoever we were on the ground floor all we could see out the two windows which there was bars on was a white a wall and out balcony was nothing only waste ground. On the day we were leaving we had a late flight and we asked for a late checkout and we were told no the needed the room but we could stay around the pool and use a shower room. There was nowhere to leave our bags only in the bar which anyone could have walked off with so be had to keep all our valuables on our person for the day. We did not leave the hotel until 5 and our room that they needed for someone else so early still had not been cleaned at that time. We loved our holiday in Lanzarote but would definitely not return to the Club Montana or recommend it to anyone else.

Lovely hotel with all you need for a holiday. Rooms are quite spacious and the beds comfortable. AC could be a bit better but not too much of a problem. Excellent location with the strip literally 8 mins walk away. Spar shop 2 mins walk at the end of the road. Only criticisms were lack of sunbeds when hotel busy and the dreaded reserving of the ones that were and having to pay to rent a parasol (never before at a hotel). Paid €15 to hire parasol for week but then watched others just pick them up every day for free with staff doing nothing to stop them. All in all a very good, comfortable hotel that I definitely would go back to.

Lovely Apartments close to Beach & Shops

Lovely apartments - clean and spacious . We stayed in a 1 bedroom apartment number 132 right next to the pool which was convinient after a long day out . It also had a little privacy as well as most apartments had there balconies opened so that your neighbouring apartment could see as well. ( however - it wouldn't have bothered us if we had one of those). There's a SPAR for shopping -3 mins away where you could buy everything you need. The beach was 5 mins .
We loved staying at Montana club as it was really convinient and would defiantly come back again.

If you feel like to travel on transport - just to let you know that it's a one way system so make sure you plan out your journey . The airport is just 10 minutes away that you wouldn't even know your around the corner from it having stayed right beside a beautiful promenade which stretched for at least over a mile long.

A Taxi rank is right outside once you get to the bottom of the seafront which was handy.

We would definitely stay here again without a doubt. Maria at reception was very helpful.

Fabulous hotel close to all amenities.

My Partner and me enjoyed a 4 night stay at this hotel. We will definitely come back. It was faultless, Appartment was spotless with air conditioning and plenty hot water all the time. The staff were excellent and so helpful. The pool was clean and relaxed. We would return to the same resort for its convenience and value. Also there is a Spar shop at the corner and they stock everything you require.

Montana Club is in a superb location!

Excellent location, a Spar shop on the end of the street, short distance to the strip, and yet far enough to keep it quiet when that's what you need. \"Bob\" the barman really made the stay, he's friendly and a lot of fun!
Rooms are tidy but the sofa / beds are pretty hard, you can \"hire\" a TV remote, or you can usually work out how to turn on the TV without it :) We were originally put in apartment 119 - this is setup for disabled users, making the bathroom facilities uncomfortable for anyone who isn't in a wheelchair; the staff were able to move us after 2 nights without any fuss at all, and should be commended for this.

Quiet break in a nice hotel

Just had a lovely break at this hotel. The apartment was spacious and clean with a pool view, maid service every 2 days with clean towels. Make sure to book an apartment with a pool view as \"standard rooms\" are not guaranteed a view. The pool area was quiet with plenty of sunbeds but we had to pay to rent an umbrella for the week. The hotel is close to a Spar and 5 minutes walk to the main front, is in an excellent location and ideal for a relaxing break!

Our expectations ware not too high considering the relatively low cost of our stay, but I must admit we were positively surprised. Not a single problem arisen during our stay. Staff very nice and helpful. Room was more like a flat with separate bathroom balcony and bedroom. 5min walk to the main street with all the bars and restaurant and beach. We would highly recommend this hotel

We stayed in a one bed apartment. It was clean and comfortable but a bit dated. It was cleaned and towels changed every other day. The pool area was washed and cleaned every morning. The staff were very friendly and helpful, especially Bob. Thank you Bob for being so obliging and pleasant.

We stayed in room 117, unfortunately was right behind the bar therefore blocked our view on the balcony.
it was not noisy being there though as resort very quiet at the time. 1 consolation though i could not sleep one night and Bob the barman came out the back and chatted for a bit.
Hotel was 5 mins walk to the main shopping strip and approx 20min walk to main shopping centre, which was a nice walk looking in all the other gift shops. Spar supermarket at the end of the road 2mins.
Room very basic, however acceptably clean, ( i am fussy) maids came in every 2 days. Pool areas very clean, no problem getting sun beds, cushions 2 euro for day or 10 for the week.
Staff very helpfull and friendly and a bonus to the complex, nothing to much bother to ask.
Basic food on site, burgers etc and good value for the money.
Really a lovely apartment complex, walls of the room quite thin though so take earplugs if u have trouble sleeping.
overall a lovely stay apart from the weather, would not go back in feb, and ask for different apartment with better view as i would go back.
Basic self catering equipment but i sure they would find what you have not got as so helpfull.
Tv channels bbc1 and itv so helpful in bad weather never missed episodes of corrie etc LOL.(remote 10 euros which u get back.
All in all a little bit of refurbish is my only negative.

Nice small hotel good location

Stayed here recently fir a week. Hotel is only small but is well kept and staff are very helpful and obliging. Useful to have kitchen facilities even when you are staying on a b n b basis. Good quiet location close to a good puzzlers n supermarket and short walk to main strip. Would def stay here again

Just what we needed!

Nice hotel, with the rooms clean and spacious. BBC and ITV on the telly. Where they come up trumps was the customer service. Bob and Sally were superb. Sally made the best Holiday breakfast I have experienced, whilst Bob was life and soul of the bar. Will definitely go back.

Great value - close to the beach

Montana Club is in an ideal location, just 5 mins walk from the \"main strip\" and the beach, yet nice and quiet.

The building and facilities are a little dated and tired, but are clean and well cared for.
Staff very friendly and helpful.
