Not particularly bothered by beach as stayed within the complex except to dine elsewhere on some evenings.
Excellent apartment allocated, spacious & comfortable for a couple but not for a larger group.
Brought one of the plastic chairs from the terrace as more comfortable than the one lounge chair provided.
Great shower with loads of hot water and very nice shower gel.
Two single beds rather than a double but appreciated the extra space on the warm nights though the beds got \"hot\" after a while.
Had to ask for a second pillow for myself and the one supplied had a hollow in the middle (from years of service?) but this suited my personal preference.
Matrimonial dispute over the a/c as she did not want it and I did. Lost the arguement.
Wife has limited mobility at this time and the lifts from street to Reception and then down to the restaurant/pool level were much appreciated. The well-lit walkways without steps were also appreciated.
Great free breakfast included in our rate and we enjoyed the wide choice of good quality every morning

Wife has limited mobility at this time and the lifts from street to Reception and then down to the restaurant/pool level were much appreciated. The well-lit walkways without steps were also appreciated.

Unfortunately we only got to stay one night but during our short stay we found the room beautiful, large bedroom, separate seating/tv lining area, fabulous bathroom and lovely outdoor patio area. The hotel has direct access to the beach. Everywhere was spotless and staff at reception was very efficient and helpful. Would definitely stay again and hopefully for a longer visit.

When we checked in, we were given an electronic item to put into the safe, along with an explanation of how to use it.
When we checked out, we were told that there would be a 4 euro charge for using the safe. The property is pleasant enough, although the communal areas are a bit too small for the number of guests staying here- ie, too many people around at peak breakfast times. There were only a few things that bothered me. Firstly, there was quite a pronounced dip in the mattress which was not good for my back. Secondly, many of the male guests think that it is ok to sit in the sauna completely naked with their legs apart, displaying their reproductive organs. This may be the norm in an adult male only sauna in some countries, but this sauna is not one of these. There are women and children guests. There is an A4 sheet of paper on the door to the sauna area reminding guests that swimsuits must be worn, but this is not enforced by the staff.

Las Costas is a lovely hotel in a great position by the ocean. It is a great chill out place apart from the young children screaming all the time. Unfortunately our room was in the middle of a lot of families so it spoilt it for us. The pool is amazing as are the staff. It’s a real pity there is no adult only row of rooms .

Hotel was fantastic, breakfast great. Only had one night due to cancelled flight, HOWEVER, not hotels fault more the apps fault. Booked it, paid, took taxi there, only for atleast 8 other couples turn up also booked and paid, and there was only 1 room! Hotel very helpful, rung around for other people and they all got rooms elsewhere.

We very much enjoyed our first stay at Las Costas and would definitely stay again, we had a junior suite which was very comfortable. All the staff around the hotel were very polite and friendly, working hard to make sure guests had an enjoyable holiday. Food options were excellent.

As a couple in our 40s without kids, we wanted a relaxing holidays by the beach and pool without the fuzz of loud music, bars and drunk people as you can find more in Puerto del Carmen beach area.
- Pros:
an upgrade upon arrival, spa service onsite, beautiful view on the beach from the room, comfortable beds and modern furniture, AC, walkable to the front beach. Clean and quiet. Breakfast buffet included. Compare to Puerto del Carmen, the beach of Los Pocillos was very wide, clean and quiet which made enjoyable the walks along the sea.
As we wanted quiet holidays the clients were mainly retired people or very young family with only limited amount of kids present in the hotel.
- Cons:
no regrets in not paying for half-board (£10/day or £15 for one-off). The buffet is good enough for breakfast, fits very much English/German consumers with some flavourless eggs, salami, fruits and sausages.
As per the other island in the canary island, good restaurants are rare finds, but there was still options near the hotel within a 10min walk distance. As per supermarkets for essentials.

What a hotel. One if not the nicest I have stayed in puerto del Carmen. From check-in to checkout , everything was great. Rooms were super clean. Breakfast was nice and varied. Pool are was spotless . One definitely go back again actually looking forward to it.

We booked this hotel to have a relaxing holiday and we certainly enjoyed our stay. The location is ideal, about a 10 minute taxi ride from the Airport, it is right on the beach and near to shops. The local bus stop for other resorts is near the front entrance and fares are very reasonable. For us it was ideal for pleasant walks in either direction. The room we had was spacious with a fridge and microwave and with two loungers plus table and chairs on the veranda. The hotel was kept spotlessly clean and the gardens were well-maintained. The choice of food for both breakfast and dinner was excellent. We enjoyed the evening entertainment on the occasions we went. All staff whether at reception, in the restaurant, in the lounge as well as cleaning staff, were unfailingly friendly, pleasant, helpful and polite. On the Sunday we went by bus, booked at reception, to the Teguise market and that was an enjoyable experience. Overall, we had the holiday we had hoped for.

We had a fantastic four nights stay. We arrived early but only had to wait twenty minutes for our room while enjoying a free drink in the pool bar a lovely surprise. We got the impression they catered mainly for the German guest but we were made to feel very welcome.The hotel was very clean our towels were changed every day if needed and the bedding every 2 days if wanted. The restaurant was very clean even changing the table cloth after each guest.The food was just o.k but that could be just us being to fussy we don’t normally do half board.we only stayed in a standard room but all good.

Excellent hotel. Great location, on the beach, v close to the airport. Big, clean, modern rooms. Very friendly & helpful staff (contrary to other reports on here - it is infact some of the guests from a certain European nation that were obnoxious!) Half board buffer selection is great (again, ignore the moany travellers on here - there was plenty of choice and it tasted great). Went with 2 little kids who had a great time - plenty of space in the double rooms with sofa beds, and staff very accommodating to help.

This hotel is in a fab location. Handy for the shops, restaurants and bars. Very safe to walk out in the evenings and no noise heard from any bars etc which are approximately 100 metres away. The hotel is extremely clean and the staff are efficient. The dining room is amazing, the waiters/waitresses are polite, friendly and efficient. You will see NO food on the floor or dirty tablecloths and the staff are extremely attentive.

We had an excellent holiday, the hotel which is only a short walk into the main centre of Puerto del Carmen, was wonderful and the staff made us very welcome, we stayed half board and the food was very good. We were a little surprised that very few guests were British, mainly German and Spanish. The rooms are enormous and we had a fridge, microwave and flat screen TVs with bbc, itv and channel 4. The gym, pool and jacuzzi were clean and well maintained. We rented bikes and rode from the hotel to Costa Teguise, Arrecife and to the end of the Airport runway to watch the jets landing, brilliant. We will definitely go back.

The hotel was spotlessly clean with an army of staff ensuring that flower borders, pool and restaurant areas and rooms were always in top order. Buffet breakfast offered an extensive hot and cold food choice. Although the room had a small fridge and microwave, there was no tea or coffee making facility. Free Wi-Fi was good enough for messaging and surfing but if streaming is required then it would be necessary to purchase an upgrade. All staff could not have been more helpful or attentive.

I would highly recommend this hotel. The food was lovely, always something different to choose from for evening meal. The staff were lovely, very helpful and nothing seemed to be a bother. I had my birthday whilst on holiday and they left a bottle of sparkling wine in the room along with a card wishing me happy birthday. The rooms were great, very clean with a terrace and sun beds all within reach of pool and restaurant. Pool had loads of sunbeds but did not try the other facilities available.
I would also recommend the restaurant La Avenida across the road, we did not try the food but we went for drinks and entertainment. The staff there were great and it was always busy. This end of the resort was lovely to stay and within walking distance of shops, bars, restaurants and beach. For trips try the Fuertuventura full tour with the sand dunes.

We had a great stay at Las Costas. So close to the beach and plenty of places to eat. We only ate breakfast there, but it was plentiful and delicious. All of the staff were very helpful and couldn't do enough for us. The room was large with a great view of the sea. Can't wait to return.
