Stunning hotel with excellent facilities. We were offers a room upgrade and enjoyed a junior suite. We were on B&B board basis and this was lovely with lots of tasty options. We used the padel court and yoga classes which were fab! Would definitely return

All the staff made this stay excellent. Only 2 small grumbles, as this is a 5* hotel. Room had no Electric shaver socket, also woyld be nice if the room had USB pirts for charging cables. Everything else we absolutely loved. We will be booking again 👌

Fantastic stay at the Lava Beach hotel. The 5 star rating is truly justified.

Rooms were large and well finished, robes and slipper included.

Spa facility for massage was great and worth the extra money.

Restaurants in 200m either direction if you don’t want to eat in the hotel.

Breakfast was great and the Cava was a nice touch.

Drinks and bar snacks were all responsibly priced and the piano bar had live enetertainment everynight which was great for a night cap. Will definitely come back.

Distance to Puerto del Carmen centre is around a 30 minute walk, €4.5 in a taxi. Great to break the day up.

From the moment we arrived, to our departure, the entire stay was fantastic. Friendly staff throughout. A variety of food selection for breakfast and evening meals, always plenty to eat. The room, and in fact throughout the entire premises it was tidy and clean. Enjoyed the massage treatments, on a couple occassions.
And we also enjoyed the little putting green one evening. The beach and promenade are at the bottom of the hotel, so a small walk. Overall we had a fantastic time and would happily stay here again, and would recommend to friends and family.

The property itself is amazing. Great staff. The entrance to the back of the property to get to the beach is great as well. The properties around the front of the building are trash dumps with graffiti every where. I know the hotel is not affiliated with that but it is a 5 star hotel with landfill in front of it. Again, the hotel itself is amazing so please don’t be deterred by the other properties around it.

The hotel is unbeatable. Staff is friendly and welcoming. All areas of the hotel are spotless and perfectly managed. The size is f the hotel is perfect- not too big to feel crowded. The green areas are spectacular. There are endless sandy beaches with crystal clear waters in front of the hotel. The street between the hotel and beach is pedestrian only.
I travel with a service dog. Cooper was warmly welcomed by everyone.
We had a lovely vacation.

lava beach is an excellent resort. We throughly enjoyed our stay there last week. Thanks to Daniel and Christina for the very warm welcome, and to Laura for making sure everything was ok! The resort is clean, with beautifully manicured gardens. The choice of food at breakfast and dinner was excellent; including the vegetarian options. The hotel is very near the beach, we walked there and hired a sun lounger for the day-the water is pristine! Overall, a fantastic stay- one small grumble- our AC was rather slow and sluggish.

The reception team are very professional and helpful, the breakfasts are exceptional, the rooms are srepotless and beautifully furnished, the gardens are delightful and the large heated pool is a joy to swim in. A new, fresh, beautiful hotel, very well positioned in front of the beach. The staff was extremely friendly. Great pool area, and a very clean place to stay altogether.

A few things though: I am French and so are my parents who joined me and stayed at the hotel. I speak English and Spanish, but my parents don't and we would have appreciated menus and general info provided in French as well as other languages.

We had dinner at the Aroma restaurant, and I don't recommend it. We could only order the tasting menu, which consisted in a lot of small dishes. No problem with that, but there was too much time waiting between each course, and also, a small portion of food should be mind-blowing, but sadly, it wasn't. It was a lot of money for the quality of food provided.
The waiter was lovely tough.

Last thing: The live music in the evenings was great. Good acts. However, once the live shows were over, we would have appreciated a more \"chilled\" type of music played in the background afterwards.
Not pop and rock hits blasting, but something more smooth and sophisticated to finish our drinks and evening in style.

Nothing is perfect, but it can always improve. All in all, a very good place to stay, and an enjoyable week at Lava Beach.

Spent 10 days here before Christmas. The hotel is fabulous. It's a very relaxed 5 star. We had a very spacious modern room overlooking the pool and with a sea view. Great shower and extremely comfortable beds. The balcony was well equipped with 2 comfortable armchairs, a small table and a sun lounger.
Plenty of sun loungers around the pool as well as cabanas and other seating. The pool was heated which is a great bonus at this time of year. There's a paddle/tennis court and mini golf. There is a great range of yoga/fitness classes everyday. They are included in the price. The instructors were very professional and helpful. They were also a good way to meet other guests.
We stayed on a breakfast and evening meal basis. Both were buffet style with lots of choices and freshly cooked options. We thought we would skip a few dinners, but there was nowhere nearby that served the same quality of food.
The staff everywhere in the hotel were amazing. Very friendly and always went out of their way to help and to simply chat to guests. They seemed genuinely interested in you. They remember preferences in the restaurant.
In terms of location , it's less than 10 minutes from the airport. The main entrance is on the main road, but it has a gate directly into the promenade with it's cycle and walking paths and the beach.

The hotel is beautiful inside and out . The staff were very helpful. Our room had a jacuzzi bath with shower which was nice however having bad hips I did find it difficult to get in and out . I didn’t ask to change rooms but a walk in shower would have been preferable.

Lava Beach is a brand new hotel located in a very nice area of the island. You can easily access the beach and promenade from the hotel. You can find many restaurants in walking distance from the hotel.
The hotel is very clean with amazing sea views.

One of the best hotels in the area, short walk through the lovely gardens to the sea front and promenade. Clean and comfortable hotel, excellent bed, sunbed on balcony. Usual poolside sunbed chasing, just the same in the bigger hotel, Los Jameos, which is next door. Food was good quality with reasonable choices for breakfast, evening was standard buffet offerings. Food next door is better with far more choices, but considerably more expensive hotel, with smaller balconies!
We’ve stayed in both, difficult to call.

Really nice hotel, good location. A few things that could have been better: 1) half board didn’t include water and you will be charged extra for it; 2) there were very limited vegan options for dinner. There were some vegetarian options but a lot of these had cheese. 3) Also, the fact that they give you 6 coffee pods (2 decaf) and don’t replace them in spite of staying 4 nights seemed petty. At least have instant coffee with a kettle if you’re not going to replace them. 4) The gym could have some towels. Overall nice stay, but these little details quite made it feel a bit less accommodating.

1 weeks break with family. 2 rooms facing the beach. Rooms were so comfortable. Sound of the waves every morning was lovely. Breakfast was fantastic with pretty much everything you could ask for. The staff, especially Mark at the front desk, were exceptional. The exception might be Housekeeping who are task oriented -- not customer oriented -- which is often the case these days anywhere. The staff who normally interact with customers were exceptional here. The landscaping is impressive. The convenience of the location to the ocean and the 'boardwalk' is ideal. Location is much nicer than the gaudy areas down by Playa Del Carmen. The Spa Access room was exceptional and a great place to sip a wine on the patio or read a book while listening to the ocean in the background.

All I can say was this place is amazing. From the staff, to the work the hotel workers and maintenance workers put in to have it looking too class, all doing an excellent job.
Our premium room facing the beach was fantastic. Hearing the waves crashing off the shore day and night gave such a lovely soundtrack to our stay. Totally relaxing. Can’t wait to return.

Location is really nice- right next to many restaurants and shops on the promenade.

The hotel is lovely, clean, fairly new, service is good, free yoga classes a bonus, decent gym, mini golf a bonus, beach access is easy, free parking.

The breakfast is a bit average especially for a 5* hotel. The location is a bit far from the area with the resturants/bars, not really walkable but there are cabs.

At almost EUR 200/night (October) it wasn’t exactly cheap.

Positives:

- This is a beautiful hotel to stay in and very relaxing
- The breakfast choice was amazing
- The staff were lovely
- The rooms were clean
- The gym had great facilities

Negatives that could be easily remedied if they put their minds to it:

- There should a smoking area. It's frustrating when you're on a lounger and people are smoking next to you. They don't put ash trays out but people still do it, even if there are kids close by. It's disgusting. No smoking signs should be placed around the pool area and a designated smoking area in place. Staff should be trained to enforce this and not turn a blind eye.
- Music that the hotel plays is quite depressing and it's even played in the gym.
- The internet speed is just rubbish. I can imagine that alone will put some people off booking so just sort it out and spend the money

Had a very relaxing and comfortable stay at Hotel Lava Beach. The rooms were very clean and can see that all areas of the hotel have been maintained to a high standard including the pool side area. Breakfast had a good range of food and was very good. Really enjoyed using the Spa which includes sauna and steam room. The hotel is a good location, a short walk leads you to various shops, restaurants and very close to beaches. Highly recommend.

From taxi to checkin , to room via coconceirge Excellent and fast..Rooms are excellent,especially near sea. Hotel is situated just beside cycleway/walkway facing sea with exit from lovely gardens.
Food is generally via self service with a great variation of food for breakfeast and dinner
Main course for dinners are from kitchen, not self service. We had issues with 2 main courses, and these were changed without issue, and with apologies.

We understand SPA is great (we didnt use spa) but there is a free range of Yoga and other exercises both in and out of pool.

Pool water was at 24 c degrees (openair), and was very pleasant. There is a Tennis court, and mini golf, and evening entertainment available each night.

Time from airport 15 minutes taxi

Will we return.......YES !! Time of visit ...Late February/early march

This is a lovely new hotel. Stylish with great staff. There are a few small annoying things that they could do with sorting. Every room has two single beds. We asked for a double but the room wasn't made up as a double. They said they could make into a double with a topper. Not sure how that would work. Although the breakfast buffet is really generous. You only get 6 coffee pods per stay in your room! and are only allowed one pool towel per person and have to give it back with a card system. Which is a bit odd. The gym is great but there is just one workout mat .. so a few bits to sort! but a lovely hotel

Front desk extremely helpful, especially the tall dark haired man we met on arrival, Christian in the bar was superb, Monette and the girl with teeth braces (in the bar and the cafe) were extremely helpful, and all staff members (except one or two) including cleaners were very friendly and efficient, always saying hello with a smile- And Nicole was very receptive and smiley, and very helpful, especially as she helped out in any area when she felt it was needed, and she had to put up with suggestions and moans from other guests- Overall a superb experience, now if they can just get a folding table-tennis table to put in the yoga room...

Excellent new property. We did half board and enjoyed the meals. We also loved the gym and yoga classes. Staff were always friendly and attentive.

From the moment we entered we were greeted with a friendly smile and a willingness to help. The facility was exceptionally clean with wonderful amenities.
I loved beginning each day seated alongside a lovely pool area not far from a beautiful beach. Our room was clean and the hallways were quiet.
We loved our stay at Hotel Lava Beach.

Lovely Lava Beach

Check in excellent we arrived at 12 and our room was ready. After a lovely rose cava we were taken to our room which was beautiful.
We were half board and food was excellent
All staff from reception to dining staff were very friendly and efficient. The hotel was spotless everywhere and room cleaners done a wonderful job . Lots of sunbeds no need to claim early!
Absolutely loved this hotel and would recommend to anyone looking for somewhere special

Very nice hotel, new and clean with beautiful surroundings and ambience. Service ok and location great. The let down for English visitors is no tv channels except sky news and bbc news and whilst you don’t go on holiday to watch tv Lanzarote weather is very changeable and on dull cloudy days you will need to leave the hotel for things to see and do. Other than that it’s a great hotel.
