Staff lovely room clean and comfortable. The quiet setting close to beach & restaurants is perfect. Stayed in an XL the palm trees outside restricted the sun a little but if the dead branches were trimmed this would not be a problem. Will return

Was an excellent place to stay. Were upgraded to 2 bedroom apartment on arrival
Had an issue with leaking toilet but was immediately dealt with when I reported it
Spacious accommodation and very clean
Good sized kitchen with excellent facilities
Lovely pool area. Pool was heated and although not warm was not as Baltic as other pools in Lanzarote which were too cold to get in
Would definitely stay there again.

Turned up very late at night after our flight had been cancelled and the staff went out of their way to accommodate us (2 adults and 2 kids) plus 2 other families. Beautiful reception and gallery, fantastic breakfast and wish we'd had longer to enjoy the very spacious accommodation and lovely pool. Great location. Would love to go back.

This is a lovely complex, which I would without doubt be happy to return to if the pool was slightly warmer. The pool was the only disappointment but we booked specifixally to have a pool we could use in April, and this was not the case.

This is an excellent facility, so close to lots of amenities and the beach, staff so friendly and helpful.

Also this is a very quiet facility every resident we meet was so pleasant.

Room had great Wi-Fi and television was available, cleanliness was 110%.

Not a single complaint.

We had a lovely week stay with breakfast which was varied each day which was really good. The whole place was kept immaculate and the rooms had everything you would need for self-catering. All of the staff we met were friendly and for us most of all it was very peaceful and relaxing we will come back in the future.

Stayed as a family of 4 from 20th-28th February 2018.Had 2 bed-roomed apartment. 2 single beds in one room and 2 single beds pushed together for us as a couple. Disappointed that it wasn't a double bed. Overall, I would rate Nautilus as good and booked following the rating reviews of 'Superb'. I don't really have any complaints but would give this advice. I wanted somewhere quiet to get over a recent bereavement and asked the hotel to accommodate that, which they did. However, it was a little too quiet for us and we just didn't see any people around after the sun went down. I found myself whispering, so as not to disturb other guests. Nautilus is in Matagorda and the entire place was just like a ghost town. I have never been anywhere so quiet. Maybe it was the weather but just SO weird. We had a few sunny days with temperatures of 23 degrees but not many. At night, it dropped to around 16 degrees and the wind made it cold. Our apartment didn't have any heating, so our boys were cold in their beds at times. There is absolutely no heating in the bedrooms and I would like to see this improved. It appears to me that air conditioning is free on Hotels.com website. However, this is an extra charge at the hotel but we obviously didn't need it. Again, there is a 2 Euro charge PER NIGHT for the safe and a 10 Euro deposit. There is a drying area for your cloths but it flooded our kitchen when it rained. Water tank too small and ran out of water for showers. Annoying. Staff friendly

Great accessibility for all

It was a small hotel which suited us well and our apartment was in a great location a few steps from the pool. The location was quite a bit out from the centre of Puerto Del Carmen, and quite a walk from the old town - which is well worth several visits.
Lovely relaxing break.
One exceptionally friendly & caring reception staff member (Avy) - unfortunately a few others who fell short of friendliness and genuine interest in making our holiday experience the best it can be.

4 young guys staying for 5 nights

5 night stay in Lanzarote. Hotel was around a 20 minute walk to the main strip OR 4-5 mins in taxi. We used to call taxi from the hotel, would arrive in less than a minute and charge us €4-€5 euros to the centre. Airport is very close and took us less than 5 mins and €10 to the hotel. Staff were nice. A bit funny when we got asked to pay for fresh towels. Pool was nice, cold but enough to take a dip in. Breakfast was average. Hotel was quite with mainly older people staying here

We were three adults and two kids (4 and 6 yo) in an apartment with two bedrooms (one adult slept in sofa bed). One bathroom with shower and toilet and one separate toilet. Our apartment was just by the pool (room 26) and it was perfect! There is a small playground next to the crazy golf (inside hotel premises) which is good when you have kids. Also, there is one right by the beach which is a couple of hundred meters away.

Well run complex

This is not a hotel but a well managed complex of small bungalows the majority of which are disabled adapted. The facilities onsite include a small supermarket and heated swimming pool but it is missing items associated with a hotel such as a bar/restaurant. A good beach and small commercial centre with restaurants and bars are within short walk. It is also located within 5 minutes drive of airport. It is very quiet and seems to suit an older agegroup. The busier more lively resort of Puerto del Carmen is a short taxi ride away or a decent walk along seafront promenage.

If you are self catering the kitchen equipment is really not good. Very little and very poor quality by anyone's standards. Beds too small and uncomfortable for adults. Sofa was ancient and old. Staff nice and pool area lovely. Nice quiet hotel.

Nice hotel close to airport and playa los pocillos

Me and 2 others stayed here in an apartment style room with a bedroom with two single beds and a pull out bed in the sitting room under the couch. Only stayed for a night but the room was nice and spacious and the hotel very well kept , plus there is a fantastic big swimming pool and also a supermarket within the hotel so a very good hotel overall.

This was our second visit to the Nautilus and again was not disappointed the staff are so friendly the rooms spotlessly clean and there is everything you need in the apartment you could possibly need, There is a little noise from the airport during the day but certainly not enough to spoil your enjoyment and of course there are no night flights so all is quiet and peaceful during the night, The apartments are also geared up in full for disabled guests and add to this plenty of eateries close by to enjoy and would certainly recommend to anyone in fact we have booked again to stay later this year

As many will have said before me, the Nautilus is excellent! The apartments are clean and well equipped, the complex is spotless, the staff very friendly and the pool area fabulous. In particular, the resort is brilliantly equipped for the less able bodied. I honestly can't fault the place if you're looking for a low key getaway in a quiet part of Lanzarote.

These apartments/bungalows are spotless I could fault them. Catering in every way for disabled people. Each apartment is support with 2 sun beds a sun parasol and table and chairs. The swimming pool is spotlessly clean and the pool is heated to around 24 degrees they have a little thermometer in at all times. You are a minute from the beach and shopping centre. Having stayed in a large hotel nearby many times that happened to be getting renovated during our time we decided to try the nautilus cause we like the area. I can now say without a doubt this is our top choice now and wouldn't go anywhere else.

Stayed on a self catering basis so cannot comment on meals but the hotel had all the facilities for a great stay, The rooms were spotlessly clean and all you needed was available in the room they also catered well for the infirm even down to a hoist to lower those incapable into the swimming pool and all areas on a single storey level for easy access, There is a little aircraft noise during the day being quite close to the airport but in no way spoils the stay and of course no night flights to spoil the nights Overall a very pleasurable stay

Excellent first stay at Nautilus

This was our first stay Nautilus, and we will happily return. We were upgraded to a 2 bedroom superior room upon arrival. Our accommodation was spacious and spotlessly clean. Everything you need to make your stay comfortable. We stayed in room 9, which is located right by the great size pool. No battles for sun beds, there are plenty. Very convenient to have a supermarket on site - another plus. A handful of restaurants and bars close by in Matagorda or a €6 taxi ride for busier things in Puerto del Carmen. There is aircraft noise but I cannot say it bothered us at all. In fact, it's a plus to be short taxi ride from airport - we were in our room within 45mins of landing! A great weeks' holiday and we will definitely return.

Average Hotel in great location but room and patio area full of Ants , asked about the problem at hotel reception just to be told you always get them when it's hot ! And told that there was a bug spray under the sink if I wanted to use it.
Air con in the room comes as an additional price also . 7 euros per day to hire the remote control . Although if you open the cover on the air con you can press a button and use it for free which they don't tell you either .
Wouldn't rush to go back , better hotels for less money around the area.

Amazing stay, loved every minute, ?so relaxed and chilled out, perfect place to switch off for a week or two.

Only draw back was the little charges for things like safety deposit boxes and printing boarding passes, but these are minor things in an otherwise lovely place. Would highly recommend

Great location, great staff and very relaxed

We would highly recommend Nautlius to anyone. The apartment was perfect for us, the location excellent and the staff extremely polite, friendly and helpful. We would not hesitate to stay again. The focus on being environmentally friendly was a big plus for us. One minor drawback of this is that the pool is very chilly. That said I understand this is in part to keep the energy use down to a minimum so being a little cold in the pool is a small price.

My wife and I took our two grand children aged 3 and 9 for a weeks stay in the last week of April 2015. We all found it a great place with good amenities, friendly helpful staff and a great location for walking out to nearby restaurants in the evening. Suitable for people looking for a relaxing time not for people who want blaring music around the pool with organised activities for their kids while they get drunk. Nautilus has an atmosphere more like a private residence with a shared pool as opposed to a holiday hotel.

Overall the cleanliness of the hotel was top notch.If i were to fault it for anything it would be,the towels in the rooms were old and worn.The wifi connection wasn't great either but these are very small things really.I would definitely reccomend it as a family place to stay.We will be going back again.

Peace & Quiet Bliss

We train at Club la Santa on the other side of the island, but have taken to topping and tailing our holiday at Nautilus because it's such a lovely gem of a place. Only 5 minutes drive from the airport, we are surprised by how peaceful it is at Nautilus. In addition the hotel is spotless and the staff are lovely. It feels very homely here. The bungalows are really spacious and the pool is beautiful. My 6 year old loves it. There's tv for those who want it and I love the art installations and the eco-friendly ethos. It's also worth noting that the site caters for disabled clients and is very accessible by wheelchair. The pool also has a sling to aid entry into the pool. If it's peace and quiet you're after, this is a great place to stay. Shops, restaurants and the beach are a stone's throw away too. We'll be back.

Being a wheelchair user I found the whole complex to be perfect in every way - all areas are accessible and when leaving the complex you can travel for miles with no steps or curbs. The nearest shopping complex (approx 500 metres) with numerous restaurants and a supermarket is also very accessible.

Disappointing after very good reviews

Living area uncomfortable with basic quality dining table & chairs. An uncomfortable sofa bed was only other furniture. TV had 60 channels but only Sky News & BBC World Service .
Extra charges for room safe & pool towel and if room key is lost.
Poor quality towels but they were changed regularly.
Location was good being only 5mins from beach,promenade, several shops , restaurants and 2 supermarkets
Apartment was clean and serviced regularly but we had to buy our washing-up liquid and dishcloth
Nautilius does not compare in value with other resorts that we have stayed in in the Canaries.

Bungalows Nautilus - highly recommended place to stay in Lanzarote

I stayed for a week in Bungalows Nautilus, and I am extremely happy with everything the place had to provide. It was very clean, the staff was very friendly and helpful, and it was quiet but still close to bars and restaurants and night life.
I had a very relaxing time there and I also enjoyed a few nights out in some of the pubs close by.
I would highly recommend, for families, elderly, and as in my case a relaxing and enjoyable time with my partner.

We have stayed at Nautilus a number of times since 2017, but unfortunately this time we experienced the front desk staff, a man and someone who called themselves the front desk manager, as arrogant and with a behavior that is unparalleled in lacking customer service.
Their actions and behavior provoked us guests to such an extent that it provoked great frustration among us guests.

The whole thing was a regrettable experience that ruined the first part of the holiday.

We came into contact with other guests who had exactly the same experience as us, that the front desk manager and her employee spoke untruthfully and especially the manager was experienced as rude.

It must be mentioned that this only applies to the front desk staff. Especially the house keeping was very nice and friendly. Always cheerful and positive.
