Unique entry and check in area with first class friendly staff. A barista and beverage options right there! Very comfortable bed and bathroom shower with excellent water pressure for shower and thick towels.

The staff were courteous and helpful.

The walls of the shower in my room 216 looked dirty and had mould growing on them.

As the hand wash basin had no plug I had to wash under running water. This was a waste of water.

Hotel is beautifully situated in a lovely park. Staff could not be nicer. Note that this hotel is located away from the center of the city, so do take that into consideration when making travel plans. Otherwise, great value and lovely staff help make it special.

We stayed here for 9 nights this month. One of the main deciding factors for this property was having breakfast included - it was very inexpensive to add when booking with Expedia. If you don’t include it with your booking it’s 19 euros per person daily which is absurd. No meat is served but there are eggs (fried, scrambled, boiled) and plenty of cheese options. We liked the spread, everything was fresh and tasted good. Breads, croissants, vegetables, etc.

The place itself looks new and seems to be in great condition. Not a huge fan of how many doors there are between the elevators and rooms. Can be difficult if you have mobility issues.

The staff were very helpful and kind. Our first couple of nights, Sunday and Monday, there was so much noise outside I could hardly sleep. Because it’s located in a park, the good weather brought out a ton of people who were chilling and partying in the park until 1-2am. I read about noise complaints in other reviews having to do with the club across the street but this wasn’t from that. The next day I mentioned it and they offered earplugs and a fan for white noise (I requested the fan) and also gave us brownies.

Beds comfy and made daily, fresh towels. Floors swept daily. My only cleanliness complaint is dusty shelves in the bathroom.

Overall we loved our trip and were glad we stayed here outside of the city centre because the rush and touristy aspect of that area is not our vibe. It was very easy to walk down to Centraal station.

Beautifully set in Westerpark, this clean and quiet hotel is a convenient base from which to explore Amsterdam. Many restaurants nearby. Bus/ tram stops around the park make it easy to travel the city; however the area is also quite walkable to the city center. A relaxing place to enjoy long summer evenings outdoors after a busy day.

Amazing Value; 10/10 Staff

I booked this last minute after a bad experience with another hotel on my trip. I am so thankful this was available. The staff were amazing at check-in and I was able to get in early (for €15). The room was MASSIVE. I got a loft and the entire upstairs was a KING bed. I slept like a baby. It was also very clean and there were complimentary snacks, tea, and an ice bucket for ice from the lobby. I felt very safe since we are in the park, and there were events happening that made it feel lively. Just a short walk from everything you need. I had a little too fun and forgot which room I was in. Make sure you have your ID, that is the only way they can help guide you back to your room.

Thurs to Sunday beware, very very noisy

this is a nice enough hotel/room entirely spoiled by its location. There is a nightclub called Radio Radio which directly faces one side of the hotel. This club is open until 3.30am on Thursday and 5am on other nights. As you would imagine, the noise travels from the club to the hotel making a decent night’s sleep next to impossible. Not just the music/bass but the crowds outside laughing and cheering. You would think this important detail would be mentioned by the hotel on its website, or they would by default provide earplugs in each room (they provide things like free crisps, ear protection perhaps not hip enough?). This is a hotel where you check yourself in. I was unable to find a staff member to complain to, and there are no in-room phones. The corporate phone number on the website did not pick up. All in I can’t shake the feeling that this is a hotel trying far too hard to be hip and cool, and forgetting the most basic elements of how to be a hotel. I have applied to my credit card company for a Section 75 refund. You can see the club on these photos. There are a crazy number of hotels in Amsterdam, I will avoid this one in the future.

This was a modernized older building with a lot of character. On arriving early morning, there happened to be a room opened which was a nice plus and an opportunity for a short nap before venturing out. The room was clean and bright with big windows that could open, large draperies to block out light and welcoming waters, chocolate and a few snacks. The front desk staff were very welcoming. The attached bar/ restaurant was either a la carte or buffet and the food good. There was outdoor seating. The park was wonderful to walk through on our way to various destinations. We happened to arrive on Liberation Day which is a huge holiday. It was very festive. We opted for a room in the rear of the building which was quiet and looked onto a beautiful, quieter part of the park.
We enjoyed the walk (20 min) to the Central Station) where several of our tours began. It followed a pedestrian/ bike only street. The walk to Dam Square was a bit longer, but definitely doable. Getting an Uber here was very easy, close and reasonable to either of these areas. The manager, Christina, was on sight and very accommodating. I highly recommend this hotel.

Amazing property with nice park adjacent to the property. An outdoor market next door, as well as good restaurants nearby. Nice that it was slightly away from (but a short ride to) Amsterdam city center. The bathroom was large and nice, especially the bathtub. Very comfortable. A delightful coffee shop on ground floor and another nice one across the lot.

The hotel was lovely! The room was great and we scored one of the rooms with the balcony, that faces the park so that was awesome, we also loved that the park was right behind the hotel. The breakfast was really excellent! And I appreciate being able to call to get my laundry done from “Wassalon Dusko”, called and told them I was staying at the Conscious Hotel Westerpark and they came and picked up my laundry and turned it the next day, very quick turn around time and I appreciate the front desk helping me with that.

Conscious Westerpark-Brilliant location for Unseen

The Conscious Hotel Westerpark was very nice … the room was clean and spacious. It was nice to have the water if water and snacks upon arrival. My only two complaints are: I was not fond of the self-checkin process and at breakfast … they never seemed to be able to get my hot drink order to me … the staff in the dining area seemed very slow and disorganized.

This hotel is great,it is located inside a very green and quiet area. It is a 30 minute walk to the city center though. Service was very good. Hotel looks modern and new and rooms are spacious and comfortable. Only down side is the rooms do not have a mini fridge and there are no ice machine close to the rooms. Only way to drink cold beverages it getting ice from front desk in a small well insulate bucket. All and all this is very good place to stay.

We loved our stay here. Great location within Westerpark, and just a short walk to the city centre, this hotel had everything you could need, including organic food and drink offerings, a cafe for your morning espresso, bike rentals, and unique eco-friendly merchandise. The room was spacious and clean, and the staff was friendly and helpful. Will definitely plan to stay with Conscious Hotels again on our next trip!

Conscious Hotel location is just amazing, it is situated in the heart of Westerpark. To be able to walk right into the park is amazing. Dam square and main attractions within a 40 minute walk but don't let that discourage you, because it is a beautiful walk and you wouldn't even notice it. Overall, the hotel is awesome

A delightful hotel in the elegant former adminstrative building in Westerpark. It is one of those quirky 'modern' hotels and our room was practical but fun, with nice touches, including the essential kettle, etc. The vegetarian breakfast was great, but might go exploring outside for breakfast next time. Staff were great and loved staying here.

Liked the hotel, the room size, and staff. The last night I was there, a music festival was held in the adjacent park - this led to a loud sleeping experience. Also, the hotel is a ways away from downtown. Regardless, I had a good stay and felt the value for money in Amsterdam was good.

My partner and I had a fantastic stay at this lovely hotel in Amsterdam! The rooms, while basic, were spotlessly clean and had a fresh feel to them. The hotel and its adjoining restaurant offer mostly vegetarian options, which turned out to be a delightful surprise and didn’t hinder our enjoyment at all.

The surrounding area is absolutely charming and tranquil, with plenty of great spots to eat and drink. It’s just a 10-minute walk to the canals and about 20 minutes to Central Station. The location is perfect for a peaceful retreat from the hustle and bustle of the city while still being close enough to dive into the action whenever you want.

The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and their excellent English made our stay even more enjoyable since my Dutch is quite poor. Highly recommend this place for a serene yet convenient Amsterdam experience!

The Westerpark location is great for getting in to Amsterdam central but also as a place to be too. There is a great vibe in this area and lots of cool little bars and restaurants within walking distance. The property itself is in an old government building and is very nice, if a bit minimalist. The beds are comfy and the rooms clean.

Great hotel, in an accessible location. Helpful staff. Nice rooms and comfortable beds. Very quite. Weird that there were no rugs/carpeting in the hotel rooms. Made the room feel 'colder' than it was and not as cozy.

Lovely hotel, clean and comfy, nice little touches like the binoculars in our room. Nice big bed, and great shower. Really good location but by far the best thing was the staff. They were all so friendly and kind to me and my friend after too much local delicacy. Thank you so much

Stunning hotel

We were really impressed with this hotel. It was reminiscent of the eco-friendly BrewDog hotel chain back in the UK. Super friendly staff. We were gifted a free drink and early check in upon arrival. The only issue we had was with our door key not working the second night but a trip to reception and this was quickly resolved. The room was spacious, clean and modern. The shower was the best we've ever had in any hotel we've stayed anywhere - super powerful! Our only wish was for larger towels. Larger, firmer pillows would have been our personal preference too but thats just down to individual preference. This is a fantastic hotel with a beautiful park and bars on the doorstep - would definitely recommend!

Wonderful location! Highly recommend staying here. It’s about a 25-35 min walking distance to most things at it’s outside city center. If you want to be within distance of food, a great location and nice hotel, stay here! Loved the hotel. Simple, clean, easy and the park is just gorgeous. Gorgeous neighborhood.

This is a fantastic hotel. Far enough out of the centre to avoid the craziness but close enough to walk in within 20 minutes. The setting in the park is beautiful but the overall package of excellent rooms, great bar/food/drink and relaxed vibe with wonderful staff put it on the top of our list.

Great location and surroundings

This is my second time staying at the Conscious Hotel Westerpark. I chose this hotel since I needed a triple room where the single bed has a bit of privacy since we were travelling with our 16-year old daughter. We enjoyed our stay here, views from the bedroom are fantastic, with the hotel being in a park and away from the madding crowd.

hotel around 15 mins by bus from central station but good for holiday relaxation. Have some bar restaurant in front of hotel. Walking around 20 mins will be a lot of small restaurants and local supermarket. Suggested for traveller who don’t want a busy area hotel. I had a great stay at Conscious Hotel Westerpark in Amsterdam. The hotel is located in a park, just far enough from the hustle and bustle of the city center but still within 10 minute walking distance to the hip Jardaan neighborhood, Anne Frank Museum and then from there to all the other sights within the canal district. It’s also just 5 minutes away from bus/tram stop to get you to and from airport and Amsterdam Central train station. The room is spotlessly clean and bed very comfortable and has a contemporary minimalist deco which I really like. I went to Belgium by train and only needed my backpack for 2 days and they let me store my suitcase for free, which I really appreciated it. And the park where the hotel is located has several restaurants and breweries and a movie theatre if you want some night activities that are close by. All and all I would highly recommend this place and would definitely stay here again.
