I always stay here when visiting Amsterdam for both work and leisure. This hotel is a home from home with staff welcoming you back each time. Brilliant facilities, now with a gym too. Back again in a month's time.

The hotel itself was very clean and quiet. Environmentally conscious and friendly front desk staff. Very reasonable price and close to a public transportation stop (2 minutes walk at most.) Conversely, my experience at restaurant attached to the hotel was quite different. According to them, their pool cleaning caused…rodent issues at the restaurant, to which I saw. Their initial response to this feedback was somewhat defensive but apologetic once they confirmed my identity. Not sure what my room number had to do with their rodent issues, but they responded with an apologetic note in my room afterwards. Food was underwhelming and I lost my appetite after the running rat.

For a family room, the second/children's room could do with mirror. In the main room, the main mirror is not near any plug sockets so it's more difficult for women to use the hair straighteners.

Very much enjoyed our stay at the westcord art hotel, the staff were excellent and very helpful. It’s a very straightforward journey from the airport to the hotel with a very short train journey then the number 22 bus .the bus is also very good for getting you into town centre. It’s also a very leisurely 30 minute walk into the centre from the hotel.
We would definitely stay there again

Great value, very clean, cool / modern decor. It’s a bit out of town but there’s a bus stop right outside which gets you to the centre of town in 10 mins. You can also rent bikes directly from the hotel for €15/day, or an uber is ~€10. Everything you need for a city break in Amsterdam

The hotel was perfect for our holiday. The staff are lively and very helpful. We only had dinner, no breakfast, but the food was delicious. Would highly recomnend this hotel as a base for seeing Amsterdam but not being in the hustle and bustle of the city centre. Will def be back!

Lovely room. Spotless. Everything you needed. Fridge, kettle, coffee machine and even an iron and ironing board. Bed and pillows so comfy. Great blackout curtains. Was able to check in early. Didn't have breakfast so can't comment. Walkable into centre but the number 22 bus stops outside and takes about 10 minutes. Hotel on a busy road but couldn't hear any noise from our room unless we had the window open.

Great service. Lovely cocktails. Breakfast was great but extremely busy. Some hot food wasnt replenished quick enough (we had sat down, ate, went back 10 minutes late and bacon, sausages and pancakes were not replenished in that time).

Would be a lovely touch if a bottle of water was left in the room on arrival.

Airconditioning is so hot. We are unable to sleep. When I asked the engineer. They said ac is turned off bec of winter. It is not even winter. It was advertised that their is ac in the hotel. Wifi 2 bars in the room and keeps dropping off.
Hotel is away from the city. Thou you can take bus 22 to central Amsterdam which is convenient.

I was offered by the hotel a birthday package for 50 eu. I accepted. Got an email when will they set up. I told them 2 pm. Upon arrival room was not set up. My daughter even saw the ballons being brought up, it spoiled the surprise. When we arrived in the room only ballons inside. Thanks for the requested slice of cake which was left inside the ref instead of being set up nicely. The prosecco which came with the package was not there. I had to go down again to the lobby and they said they will bring to the room. There was zero planning on this package.

Very nice hotel; however, was very disappointed. Weeks prior to our stay we emailed twice to say that we would be arriving around 11:00 am after flying all night long. We requested an early checkin. Upon arrival we were told that they were \"preparing\" our room. We were exhausted and waited in the waiting room/reception and continued to ask if our room was ready. All other patrons that arrived were given room keys as we waited and were reminded that \"check in is 3:00 pm\". We were told that the delay was because we had a terrace. (We never requested a terrace and a terrace certainly was not a priority for us or a perk, all that was necessary was a clean bed for rest.) Yes, at seven minutes to 3:00 p.m. we were given our room keys. We would have surely purchased an extra night room had we even dreamt of the frustration of sleepily hanging around a reception area for 4 hours. This experience truly tainted our Amsterdam experience.
Would have given a five star for the hotel/restaurant staff; however, the front desk staff is the reason for the lesser.
Very nice continental breakfast!

The hotel is good - was quiet, staff polite and the room cleaned very well, daily (thanks, Paul). It is a bus journey in to the centre of Amsterdam (historically we were told this area was not part of Amsterdam so it is outer area) and somewhat further than I anticipated, with the area around the hotel feeling a little questionable to start with (myself and 2 children). It is on the main road in to Amsterdam with not much in the immediate location (feels a little 'intersection'), with some men sat around drinking alcohol on the street most of the time). However, we found a lovely pizza restaurant, a few cafes and supermarket - only a 10 min walk. Public transport is amazing (the 22 bus stop is right outside the hotel and takes you in to centre of Amsterdam). Whilst we would have loved to stay in the centre of the city, by the canals, cost wouldn't allow so I would recommend this hotel and we will return again. Thanks Art Hotel we had a lovely visit!

Good stay, but I asked reception night staff if we could use the pool next door and she said it wasn’t included. We paid to use the pool next day, but the day after that staff at pool said entrance was free for hotel guests. We were also given single beds when we checked in, despite me informing the hotel before our stay we were there for our wedding anniversary. Otherwise I would have given five star rating all round.

The property was very clean and all of the staff were kind and helpful! The area around the property was slightly run down and noisy during the night, however the transport links were excellent. The rooms were clean and spacious, the only downside was there was no extractor fan in the bathroom, which caused a lot of steam in the room whenever the shower was used. The restaurant area was fantastic and the snacks were delicious! The pool area was very nice and clean.

We absolutely loved our stay at WestCord Art Hotel.
We found it very easy to find with a short bus ride from Centraal Station.
The location is ideal, with Westerpark a short walk away.
The free use of the swimming pool was such a bonus we had so much fun relaxing by the pool and cooling off.
The staff were so friendly and helpful, the area was immaculate, the rooms were spacious and bright, with blackout curtains which helped to have a restful morning.

The fridge and coffee machine in the room were much needed additions and allowed us to save money by taking a coffee out with us and storing food to make packed lunches for the day.

We had no problems with the WiFi and the TV in the room had channels with English speaking shows.

The breakfast was superb, everything cooked to perfection and stock was frequently replenished. The dining area was clean and bright.

The beds were so comfy, especially the pillows. I had asked for an extra pillow prior to check-in and this was ready and waiting.

I feel this hotel goes above and beyond to make your stay relaxing, by providing everything you could possibly need and with very friendly staff.
I cannot imagine staying anywhere else for all future visits!!

Very nice hotel and staff. The inly issue can be the limited connectivity to the hustle and bustle of the city. Not close to tram or metro. Bus 22 is just at the gate of the hotel to commute ti Amsterdam Centraal. Also Bus 48 inna short walk.

Fantastic hotel. Gift bag on arrival for little one which was a nice touch. You get free access to pool next door which is great for killing an hour or two. Same is quiet on a night time which great for getting kids to sleep. Breakfast and bar great. All the staff were famtastic and we had such a lovely stay. Same is also on the 22 bus route which runs very regularly and you can get anywhere pretty easily. A great hotel at a nice price.

The hotel is conveniently placed for accessing the city centre and the airport. Hotel staff were friendly and the hotel and rooms are clean, comfortable and air conditioned. We did not make use of the pool or restaurant, so cannot comment on this.

We did receive complimentary stroopwaffels on arrival and a small clog keychain each when we left, which was a nice touch.

The 22 bus stops right outside, taking you into the city centre, or to Sloterdijk train station which connects you to the airport.

There are cafes, shops and bars a short walk away heading into the city centre.

We would stay again.

Now to the bar/restaurant.
The first encounter the bartender presented professionally.
The second time, for food and drink, both the male staff were dressed far too casually … almost slovenly.
The place had a handful of filled tables, many were left unwiped. And when the male staffer cleaned them he simply wiped the crumbs off everywhere - sloppily and inefficiently, with residue lefton the seating. to top it off, we learned that MOST OF THE MENU ITEMS were not made on the premises! ie frozen, Yuck. and the food was less than …. And such a dreary place thst could be more inviting.
I wonder what the owner of this place pays his staff. Quite the contrast between the front desk and the lounge/restaurant.

Lovely clean hotel

The hotel has good transport links with a regular bus just outside the hotel and only 10 minutes into Amsterdam central.
The foyer of the hotel is a bit hostel like and not what i was expecting however the rooms were clean, spacious and provided useful gadgets such as an iron, ironing board, coffee machine and kettle, fridge and safe that you wont find in most hotels anymore.
Some of the furniture looks a bit worse for wear and could do with replacing. Staff were lovely and helpful.
We didnt get breakfast due to the cost, a childs breakfast is the same cost as an adult which seems excessive for a continental breakfast especially when there is a supermarket down the road where you can purchase pastries for under a euro.
Overall stay was good, most importsnt factors for me are safety and cleanliness and both were met at high standards. Would definitely return.

Razem z grupą przyjaciół ( 6 osób) zatrzymaliśmy się na 5 dni w Hotelu WestCord Art w Amsterdamie. Przyjazny personel dokonał błyskawicznego zameldowania. 3-gwiazdkowy hotel na bardzo dobrym poziomie zapewnił wygodne łóżka, codzienne sprzątanie, czajnik oraz ekspress kapsułkowy na kawę. Obok hotelu znajduje się przystanek autobusu nr 22, który w ciągu 8- 10 minut dowozi do centrum miasta. 600 metrów od hotelu znajduje się dobrze zaopatrzony supermarket i kilka restauracji. Pobyt w Hotelu uważamy za bardzo udany.

First trip to Amsterdam for my wife and I. Absolutely loved it! The hotel is placed ina quiet, safe part of West Amsterdam. We had a top floor double bed with a balcony. The bedroom is small but perfect for what we needed. Lovely sunset views from room 724❤️
The bus to Central Station is beside the hotel which makes it so easy to get into town which is 10min away and other areas. The bus system is easy to use too.
We loved this Hotel and the Staff and will make a return someday❤️

This hotel is ok. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom was fine. It’s fairly outdated generally. It was quiet and the breakfast was good. You have to get a bus to the tram to get to the city centre, it comes quite frequently. The breakfast was very good. Not really a hotel you would want to hang around in during the day but provided a lower cost alternative than the city centre with comfortable bed and breakfast.

The property was clean, fresh and well equity. The staff were very friendly and spoke English which compensated for my poor Dutch. The room was spacious, the bed and pillows were amazing. Many hotels have 6 feathers in a sack and call it a pillow. Not the case here. The room provided all the amenities one could want. Plus the onsite restaurant was a added benefit and very much appreciated after a long day.

Convenient location for easy access to city centre

Conveniently located on bus 22 route with stops within 50m, making travel in and out of the city centre very easy. Also easy to get to the train station Amst. Sloterdijk on the 22, and then the train to Schiphol airport (or vice versa)
Despite great weather in early April the swimming pools weren't filled (unsurprisingly) but the kids and adult pools look to be a good size and the grounds at the back of the hotel looked well kept. Our room was good and looked out onto the pools, and was very quiet at night. The only minor negative comment was that it lacked enough clothes storage, but that was not a major problem for a short stay. The buffet breakfast had a good selection of hot and cold food. All in all, little to stop us using the hotel again if/when we go back to Amsterdam.

Muy buenas estancia

Estancia de 3 días. Aunque el hotel no está céntrico, tiene parada de bus en la puerta y estación de tren cercana. Zona tranquila y silenciosa. Las habitaciones son grandes y limpias. Cama grande y muy cómoda. Desayuno muy bueno. Todo el personal muy amable
