I particularly liked the fact that staff don't come into the room until after the end of the stay - therefore no interruptions from a chambermaid and no having to tidy the room up during my stay (replacement towels, toilet paper etc., can of course be requested at reception during the stay if required).

The hotel was large, right on the sea front and parking on the road was free after 4pm and before 10am. Al the staff were very friendly, the bar was well stocked and the pool table go plenty of use! The breakfast was excellent with a full selection of continental and full English foods.

The room had a great seafront view and was fine for a single nights stopover. The bathroom floor could have done with a bit of a mop and the mattress was very uncomfortable as it was sloping. Overall I was not unhappy with the hotel and would use it again

Stayed in this hotel before and had similar experiences both times. Staff were quite abrupt about receiving deposits on arrival. Maintenance is lacking on the old hotel features. Mainly the lift and creaking floorboards.

Great Location right next to the beach and overlooking the hills if you stay at the rear/side rooms. Bar team quite friendly and opening hours are usually extended.

Don't stay here, pay a bit more and go somewhere that isn't a dump and doubles it's prices in the school holidays. A £60 room (I learned this after our stay) cost us £120. The room really wasn't good at all. A window cracked from top to bottom, a toilet roll dispenser hanging off the wall barely held in place by the end of a screw, an inspection hole next to the toilet with a cover that kept falling off, curtains that were so long they filled the floor space between the window and the bed and caused me to trip on them multiple times, there was small brown splashes of something on the wall above the toilet, the shower was barely powerful enough to have a shower under; it was like being drippen on...and there's more.
Suffice to say, for £50 I would have thought 'fair enough, you get what you pay for' but for the price we paid, do not bother.
I DO NOT recommend this hotel at all. Only saving grace: the lady at the front desk was very nice and understanding.

The location of the hotel is good and I'm sure the view would be lovely, if you're in the right room. We were placed in the basement, beneath the bar, since we had brought our dog. The building is not well maintained with cracks on the walls, stains on the carpets and a musty smell. It's in desperate need of a deep clean and redecorating. We both slept terribly due to the bed being ridiculously soft, and a constant noise from footsteps and talking in the bar above until 3am, even though the bar is supposed to close at 11pm. We've stayed in many hotels and hostels at a range of prices and never struggle to sleep, apart from here. This was not akin with the price paid, therefore we would not stay again.

Lovely sea view but there was a banging noise from next doors room, which was from the toilet being flushed. Don't know how they slept with the noise but it woke us up every time it was flushed. I would have been tempted to stay again, however, I've never slept on such a hard bed in my life, my sister said exactly the same. There is firm and there is hard, this was extremely hard. The bathroom is a little bit dated but very clean, body and hand wash provided. The staff are friendly and there are plenty of areas to sit and relax with a drink and a sea view.

Great stay but yet again there were no plug sockets near the bed so couldn’t plug phone on to charge or set alarm clock.
This is such a regular nuisance in so many hotels yet it’s a basic requirement.
No bedside table at one side of the bed?!

Apart from this the room and hotel was great. Great view, great location, great shower, even had a bath, great price and the staff are excellent.
Would I stay again? Yes definitely, it’s a good hotel.

The staff in the hotel were amazing, very helpful and professional. The hotel was clean but the building needs an urgent update, bedside lights not working, Bathroom from the 70's with a very poor shower. Not many electric plugs, Come on now, you know we need to plug in phones, hairdryers, kindles etc.
A very basic breakfast was on offer. There was a pizza on offer on Friday night that was well cokked and tasty but that was all.

Room not the best we've stayed in, no shelf in bathroom for our toiletries, towel rail fell off, wardrobe door wouldn't close. Decor throughout needs updating ( in all fairness the hotel has just been taken over) and renovations are on going. Breakfast fairly hot ( buffet style) didn't have a dinner so can't comment.

We had a dog and there’s certain rooms allocated for pets it was dark with a small window with view of pipe works the bed was very comfy and clean the shower was very good but the corridors on first floor were in need of major re-vamp creaked floors sounds from music at night from entertainment . The downstairs looks fine and breakfast hall looks modern and newly decorated but what we had was disappointing and not for us. The staff were friendly and the Spainish girl was always smiling and helpful. The location is too far the opposite end of town if only on foot but we were lucky and had our car.easy enough to park outside on street. Llanduno isn’t a cheap place to stay as they have a constant stream of older guests to keep the price up. The Seafront hotel is cheaper than most but now we realise why and would rather opt for a Travelodge with the same standard nationwide and roughly the same price and take dogs made a mistake going for the cheapest

Our room was an outdated, slanted roof room with just enough space for a double bed.
The bathroom was something out of the 70's and this is not reflected in the photographs of the property.
The room was clean but the windows glazing had blown and was growing mushrooms inside the pain. My partner stood on a nail in the room and when reception was told about this they did not care or react as if it was unheard of.
When I asked about a partial refund I was told that 'It was good enough to sleep there' I had not wanted to complain at the time of check in as we had been traveling all day and not got to the hotel until 11pm!

The room was in good condition and tidy. The only thing that was slightly concerning for myself was the damp ceiling above the bed and the flies in the bathroom. There were small stains on the curtains and lamp shade. I was also woken up to the tv next door which was very loud at 4am. Besides these little issues. We had a great stay!

Great location, clean, very pleasant staff. Would go again.

We booked a double seaview room, check in was easy. However, the room smelt of cigarette smoke, someone had clearly been smoking in the room. We spoke to reception they rectified this straight away and upgraded us to a spacious room still seaview.

The breakfast was spot on, great choices for both cooked and continental. Parking was also easy on the promenade.

However the mattress was very thin, low water pressure in the shower in the morning, no u-bend on sink and a smell of sewage in the bathroom. No air vent in the bathroom.

The felt neglected as did the hotel itself. The property needs a LOT of money spending on it. We had a room upgrade and it did not feel like it! I dread to think what the room would we should have been in was like.
The lounge next to reception had an awful smell, like fat that hasnt been changed in years.
On the plus side the staff were friendly and helpful.

Me and my 4 year old daughter stayed for 3 nights. We booked a cosy double room (218) it was at the side of the building and we had a lovely side sea view which we didn't expect 😀. Room was small but very comfortable, room was very clean with lovely fresh white bedding and towels. Bathroom a little dated but for the price we paid it was great.
I ended up leaving my daughters dvd charger, and a cases full of dvds in the room (my own fault 🙃) staff where great packaging it up for me ready for royal mail to pick it up.
Thanks for everything we would definitely stay again.

Despite very helpful staff it does not detract from the terrible state of this hotel.
I was moved 3 times - first because of lack of heating and general poor state of the room and stinking pillows then because of a severe water leak from the ceiling above which could have damaged all of my luggage had I not been in the room - the state and heating situation was not much of an improvement on the first room.
The final room was a total contrast but by this point it was too late and had I not been staying for work purposes I would have moved to another hotel.

Breakfast was also pretty poor.

The general areas were also in need of severe update or cleaning. I cannot see how some of the top reviews on here can be legitimate in light of what I experienced.
Apart from the staff trying to remedy the situation and a couple being very helpful it really was an unacceptable experience.

Cannot complain about the staff but the resources they have at their disposal are limited
The lower part of the hotel is fine but go further up and the rooms seem a bit unloved. Radiator in our room didn’t work so we tried to ‘bleed’it
Didn’t work so we were given a very inadequate small space heater. Nice breeze from the window frames didn’t help😀so the room was cold. As I said, the staff are good and helpful but all in all, disappointing
