It's ok and does the job!

If this was cheaper I'd give it a higher score but it's Ibiza during August peak season so I can't complain this is just the nature of the island. I have stayed at 5* luxury resorts for the same cost per night as I stayed here. Regardless of that, I can't complain - the bed was comfy and the air con actually worked brilliantly which is what you want on a steamy August summers day. Breakfast was nice, lack of selection but what was there was tasty. I actually really like the pool, it's small but deep and a good temperature and lounging in the sun there is great because you're on the roof you get full sun exposure so perfect for tanning. Location wise it's brilliant in the heart of Ibiza Town and a short walk to Dalt Vila and a beach near by. Look it's a very basic hotel but if you want somewhere to put your head down whilst you are in a main part of the island so you can go out and easily explore it's perfect.

I had a wonderful experience at this hotel. The location is perfect — one block off the beach and easily walkable to shops, restaurants, and local attractions. The rooms were clean, quiet, and very comfortable, with great air conditioning which was a big plus. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, making me feel welcome from the moment I arrived. I’d definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking for a convenient and relaxing place to stay!

I'd recommend the buffet. A good selection of food to try each morning. My only issue was the limited bed covers. The first night was cooler than what I had available to me, and I struggled to get comfortable. It was fine on the hotter nights.

This property provides the basics in a very friendly and nice environment. East walk to all the action even up and over and the hill to old Ibiza is reasonable. The rooms facing the front can be loud, there is a trash and recycle depot in front of the hotel. . I would opt for a rear facing room.

First ever trip to Ibiza

I really enjoyed my stay at Hotel Vibra Vila. My room was nice and the breakfast buffet was excellent (they had some nice Spanish ingredients and very good donuts and the eggs were superb.)It felt like a proper Mediterranean hotel. The staff were nice and the vending machines had a good selection. And the location was ideal for my first ever trip to Ibiza.

Great location one street back from Figueretas beach. It's fairly basic but has everything you need. There's a roof top pool, breakfast area, cash machine and a supermarket next door. My room was next to the lift so was a bit noisy.

My Room No. 312 was at the front of the hotel and across the street was a Taxi Rank and a Kebab Shop. Even though tired from travelling (3h 50m flight) due to noise from these the last time I saw on my watch was 3am local time.
The voices were so clear it seemed like there was no double glazing, though I omitted to check.

Avoid this hotel. My flight landed late and when I arrived to check it I was told that I had to change hotels due to a water leak. They did pay for the taxi but no help was offered to get me a taxi. Took over 30 minutes to get a taxi and they threw me out because they didn’t believe that the hotel was paying. I then went back to the hotel and demanded that they find me a taxi which they should have done in the first place. Terrible service and no care for people being inconvenienced.

Location is great. One very short block from the ocean and beach. Location is great. Eivissa town one way and playa del Boca the other. Stone's throw to the only sand beach and swimming without driving. Pool table downstairs. Bars and food close. Everything you world need.
The room I had 6th floor was very large, full sized bath tub, balcony.
Only downside, walls are a little thin. Can easily hear neighbors if they are loud. But it's Ibiza you should go out and do soothing fun instead of sleeping.

I liked the room. It was very clean, the bed was comfortable and it had a fridge. It would be nice if it had a coffee maker though. They did have a machine in the lobby with coffee. I liked that the reception was open 24 hours which me feel safe. It’s a good neighborhood. The people that work there are very nice and helpful. I didn’t like that the rooftop terrace was closed. I read online beforehand that the pool was shut down for the low season but I hoped to at least be able to walk up there to watch the sunrise and sunset. The taxi stand is right across the street which is convenient. The nearby beach was completely closed with a huge fence around the area. The closest beach to walk on was a 15 minute walk away although I sometimes saw people pull part of the fence apart to go on the closest beach anyway.

Very disappointed when we arrived. The room was very basic and tired, as was the bathroom with a smashed basin and pedestal glued together. There was no balcony, room overlooked unkempt apartments 4 meters away. We kept the dark curtains closed at all times which made the room very oppressive. Our visit was for our Wedding Anniversary and we paid £377 for 3 nights, we expected a lot better. We have paid less for 4 star hotels in London. On the plus side is the location. It was perfectly located for the beach, catching the boat or bus to Ibiza Town or Platja d'en bossa or walking to these. Bed was comfortable enough, breakfast was ok. Next time we will look for different hotel in the same location.

Hotel was very close to the bus stop for\to airport. 3.5 Euros. Two mins to beaches, great restaurants and fantastic promenade . Boat shuttle close by to port or Formentera. Centre and historic district 10 mins walk. Room had fridge, good A\C, internet and bath\shower. Pool was tiny and hours of operation 10-2pm. Hot tub was out of order. Most staff were friendly. Rooms lacked sound proofing so everything could be heard next door. No English language TV stations. But overall worth the money. Stayed 4 nights.

Pleasant hotel that does the job

Stayed here with a friend whilst visiting Ibiza. It was perfect for our trip just a simple place to sleep at night. We were also pleasantly surprised by the little rooftop terrace and small pool. It was simple and clean and we didn't have any complaints at all. If you want to spend a lot of time at your hotel and want luxuries then perhaps it isn't the place for you. But if you just want somewhere to lay your head after a long day/night then you can't go wrong here.

very bad experience

the room that I was in was extremely noisy even though I requested a quite room and according to the staff at the front desk this was the quietest room they had available, so the staff deliberately misled me. Also I had to switch the lights on in the corridor they remain off until you switch it on but that not what I was told and I had to figure out myself the next morning when I actually saw the switches..

The 11am check out time is ridiculous, especially for a party town like Ibiza, they don't even mention it to you when checking in. The price is also not that reasonable for a property like this. Avoid at all cost.

Terrible experience from the moment we arrived until the moment we left! Our reservation was lost despite me providing confirmation of booking and reference number meaning that we spent 45 minutes waiting in the hotel lobby for the reception team to find us a room. Latiff in particular was very unhelpful and unapologetic and was unable to provide us with a reason for this. When we were provided a room our view was disgusting with cigarette butts and dirty used towel laying outside our window! The only plus was the lock which was great. Also had to pay 20 euros to use an iron but when we asked for an ironing board was told to 'use the bed' as they didn't have one! Awful service, avoid this hotel at all costs!

I would definitely recommend Hotel Central Playa

I really liked this place as it is centrally located between all the major clubs in Ibiza. Could see the ocean from my window, but not all rooms are like this. I came to Ibiza as a solo traveler, and made several new friends in the hotel lobby who were also staying at Hotel Central Playa. The staff was great, very inviting and more than happy to give you advice on what to do on the island. Did so many things that I did not plan on doing due to the recommendations of hotel staff, like seeing some of the remote beaches on the opposite end of the island. Honestly, seeing those beautiful remote beaches that I did not initially plan on seeing with the new friends I made was more enjoyable than going to the major clubs of Ibiza, and I can thank the hotel staff for that. I would definitely recommend staying at this hotel, because you can not beat the price for how well it is centrally located to the beach and all the major clubs. One thing I will note is that the hotel rooms are very basic, and are not your luxury suites you will find in a 4-5 star resort. But lets get real, you are most likely not in Ibiza to lounge around in your hotel room. A bed, nice cold A/C, clean shower, clean room and a refrigerator is all you need. As an American who has stayed in hotels in 50+ different countries around the world, I would definitely recommend Hotel Central Playa.

Cheap, no frills but does the job

Was only there for a night, but the room was clean and made up nicely. The air con was broken, but luckily I could open the window so it wasn't too hot but would've prefered it if the air con was working. Didn't bother complaining as I was only there for the night and everything else was fine. Very handy location, only 30 minute walk along the beach to ushuaia/space and very close to the supermarket.

Stayed for a 5 night Ibiza break, quite basic hotel, all you need is around you including the taxi rank which is ideal! Hotel was quite which was super, I'm sure many in the area are not. Air con in the room didn't work so that wasn't great...otherwise pay for what you get...

The room was very small and it had no furniture except a bed; no chair or couch, nothing to sit on. Even after asking at the reception, I didn't get an extra pillow or a chair for sitting. Cupboard was alright. Timings for HouseKeeping and Swimming Pool were not suitable. My room didn't get cleaned for 6 consecutive days as the housekeeping time was till 4pm but I slept till late (as its Ibiza).

Great hotel. The breakfast was amazing and very much needed every morning after a big day out in Ibiza. The staff were friendly and helpful. I found the bed to be quite on the small side and the pillow was super hard so it wasn´t the most comfortable of sleeps for me but everyone to their own. I would stay here again! Highly recommend.

Hotel Central Playa is a great place to stay when you are in Ibiza. Very conveniently located: not even a minute walk to the beach at Figuretas, easy walk to the old town and less than 5mins to the bus stop allowing you access to all parts of the island including the airport. The hotel provides 24 hours access, has nice and helpful staff, great Wi-Fi connection (in the room, not just in communal areas) and even a nice pool area on the rooftop. Also appreciated the safe in the room. Very decent place and price, had a great stay and would certainly go back.

Hotel was in a great location; 30 second walk to the beach, however the beds were horrible, and the tub in the bathroom barely drained out water. For being such a sh*&%y hotel, who's only positive is the fact that it is in a great location, it was severely over priced. $225+ a night is crazy but they can charge that because it is an island and centrally located. Would probably not stay again. However, it suited our needs as a place to crash and clean up before and after the club / beach.

I booked a single. Following a change of plans I had to ask to upgrade to a double.

They charged me for it (increasing by 30% the cost of my stay) but they still gave me a single room (one bed, one towel, etc).
Moreover they didn't tell the folks at the desk I had paid for the upgrade, so when we went back at night they wouldn't let us in (because 2 people are not allowed in a single room).

Other than this accident, the room could have been a bit cleaner.
Also the window lock was broken.

Location is nice, walking distance to downtown and beaches.

Pleasant hotel in a quieter part of town

Nice location, less than 10 minutes walk from the beach and 15-20 minutes walk from the centre of Ibiza Town (or a short cab ride). Unfortunately upon checking in I found my room smelt of stale cigarette smoke and the air con didn't work. Went back to reception to see if I could switch rooms, none were available in my booked price bracket. I then asked if I could pay to upgrade, the member of staff was polite and pleasant but unable to sort out the issue herself so had to ring the Manager who was not in. I was asked to come back the following morning to discuss with the hotel manager as it couldn't be done that day. As I was only staying 3 nights I decided not to in the end due to the hassle of unpacking, packing, moving rooms and unpacking again. However it was a bit of a disappointment

I'll be back in September .

I have stayed many times before, and as always the staff were extremely friendly. In particular Belen at reception. Yes it is a basic hotel, but for the money , it is good value and only a short walk into Ibiza town , a minute from the beach and a supermarket next door.! What more do you need? You can catch a no. 10 bus to the airport behind the hotel 3.50euros instead of 20 in a taxi.

Location as saving grace

An old hotel that now relies on its location, being right behind Figueretas Beach is still and perhaps the only reason why one would want to stay here. That was the reason I chose this hotel again. Spar minimarket is just next door, many restaurants at sea front. The air-condition was super cool, as was the fridge. We were able to pop in and out for breaks, literally from the room to the sunbathing spot in 3 minutes. It is standard fare and reasonably clean, only complaint was there was no one to check us in (6pm), we waited for almost 15 minutes.

This place is nasty. The AC does not work. The wires are hanging all over the wall. The bathroom is dirty and not fit for human use. Expedia needs to do a better job making sure that the hotels it offers is worthy and fit for human use. Expedia failed on this big time. The whirlpool does not have water. I have pictures I can send.

Decent Hotel close to the beach

the hotel is on the other side of the island (about 20mins from San Antonio) but that was great as it was quieter, close to a lovaely beach and some great restaurants. We rented a scooter from next door for very cheap.

Did the job for the money

For what I wanted, which was just a base for the night, it did the job.
Room was clean and shower was good.
The bed however was extremely springy and very noisey even if you just moved slightly and also the toilet rocked! The pool was more like a paddling pool.
Great location by the beach and near the bus stop to the airport.

Good service from staff,but expensive due location

Good location, close to several beach area's, which impact the overall cost of the hotel. A lot of the hotels in this area of Ibiza are expensive for the level of hotel. Staff very helpful during this peak period of the holiday season.

Average mid range hotel on Figueretas beach

Average, standard, mid range hotel. I was travelling alone, was given a small room with a double bed. Air condition and fridge was very nice and cold. BBC and CNBC English channel available, German channel also available. Wi-fi 5 euros for a few hours. I slept until late and didn't bother with the breakfast but on the last day when I checked out in the morning I didn't see free breakfast being served, a sign saying 6.50 euros for breakfast. Great location for beach, literally right outside. Supermarket right next door. 15 mins walk to shopping area and Eivissa port.
