Big scam be careful.

Big scam, be careful, don't book this room. All good reviews are fake. I've booked superior room with double bed, and when they gave a room it looked like a public toilets, and the price was very very expensive.

Nice place right in town!

Very friendly staff, helpful, too. Great location. One thing bothered me, I wrote them twice, asking to confirm that i can check in between 2pm and 5pm, when they say they are closed. Or, to explain the lockbox option. No answer to either email request for info.

Got such a warm welcome. There is always someone at the desk. Everyone that works there is kind and friendly. I was allowed to leave my bags there for the last day (after check out) before taking my flight in the afternoon.
Maybe a slight to expensive for what it is but I also booked last minute and it’s also Ibiza… I was solo travel with solo room

Such a cute little Hostel! We were only able to get 1 night, wish we could of done our whole stay. Only bad part I would say is there is no elevator. We got the highest floor so it was a workout bringing up our 50lbs bag. We were attended by the gentleman at night he was super helpful & accommodating.

My first stay in a hostel. I was very nervous to stay in any hostel. I didn’t know what to expect. I even bought my valuables with me in the bathroom. But if hostels are like this one I will be signing up for more. The host was very kind and made sure on my arrival time someone to be there to check me in. Really nice little hotel and excellent reception staff, only problem was the thinness of the walls which means sounds of doors slamming or people using the corridor bathroom next to our room kept waking us up. We didn't sleep brilliantly here and heaven knows what it's like in peak season (our stay was November!)

Quick review

Stayed in one of the private rooms for about 3 nights. The staff was super friendly and the hostel is located really close to the centre. The private room I stayed in was quite small (just info, not a critique) with a single bed, a low shelf, some hooks on the wall and a sink. The walls are very thin, so if you are a light sleeper, bring your earplugs. Also there's no lift if you have any mobility issues maybe request a room from the first floor.

Room itself and location were OK for the money. However, the hotel was very noisy during the night - room doors bashing, people talking in the hall and the room next to me had music on until 3am. I went to speak to the hotel staff about this but they refused to do anything about it and never heard again from the manager. I wouldn't recommend at all if you are in any way a light sleeper.

Overall, I enjoyed the privacy of booking at this property. However, during my stay in November the weather was cold and the room only had a sheet. They did not seem to have an extra blanket. Also, prior to checking out I was asked if I was almost ready to leave ( 30 minutes prior to check-out time). I showed the staff my reservation with the specific time highlighted. I was told that I was wrong and that was not correct. I do not like to take anyone's time, neither do I like for anyone to take mine. I suggest to clarify on their confirmation the correct check-in and check-out times to avoid having house keeping knockings on your door when half dressed.

Living right in the middle of Ibiza is just amazing for the price, i little problem when you have a car, because you need to find some spot for parking which can be difficult in the center but ok. Customer service on the best level, especially I thank to Barbara, she helped us with everything we needed, of course other stuff members were very kind and lovely which I appreciate a lot. Next time definitely Hostal Juanita!

This small hostel was adequate for arriving late and getting a good night sleep. I was only passing through so I didn’t get to experience any usual amenities or perks but the private room I stayed in had everything I needed; a comfortable bed and AC. I did trip a fuse a couple of times and the front desk assistant helped me resolve the issue. Overall, it was clean, simple and of good value.

Absolutely great place to stay in Ibiza Town with a very friendly and helpful staff team. We loved the roof terrace for drinks before going out in the evening. Biggest disappointment was the water pressure in the shower, it just didn’t invigorate at the start of your day. Apart from that (and a couple small gripes such as nails sticking out of walls and dodgy locks on bathroom doors) this was a great place to stay and very central. Loved it (apart from the shower).

This lodging was fantastic for the price. I’ve stayed in lodging in Europe for over 30 years. This was one of the best. The location was excellent - 5 minute walk to the Old Town entrance; 10 minute walk to the bus station to get you wherever you want on the island. I chose a room with a shared bathroom. The bathroom was always clean and maintained. The room had everything and more - plenty of electrical outlets including one near the bed. It had shelving to place your odds and ends. It had overhead lighting and lighting above the mirror for shaving. It had pegs to hang clothes and towels. Shampoo and soap were provided. I asked for a quiet location and got one in an inner courtyard. A sink was in the room. I had access to a refrigerator and freezer. There was an extensive rooftop area, available at all times, with a view of the cathedral. The manager was very cool and knowledgeable. I would not stay anywhere else for a repeat visit to Ibiza. There was a nearby Spar supermarket and many restaurants nearby. It’s on a quiet street but near everywhere you want to go as a tourist. The place is very popular so reserve early. I booked in January for a May visit. I’m glad I did because the place was booked solid.

Gem in the centre of town

The top feature of the hostal is the location, right in the centre. Within less than 5 minutes from main shopping street, Placa del parque and Vara de Rey. Cute little bar/restaurante acriss the road- Canalla with lovely tapas and good selection of drinks. We had a room with private bathroom but the shared bathrooms loomed fine too. Large comfy bed and friendly service on reception. Only drawbacks I would say are that it can be quite noisy with internal noise and that the water pressure was fine but could have been better. The rooftop terrace was closed due to poor weather and renovation but would be lovely in summer. All this considered, we would chose to stay again at Hostal Juanita.

Comfortable stay. Terrace is not open in the winter which was one of the main reasons for booking the hostel, we were given the explanation that it may be warm for us but not for Spanish people(even though I've been living in Spain for 2 years!)
There's no kitchen so really your just paying for a room.
Room was nicely decorated and had a wash area.
Overall comfortable stay in a central location

City centre location and noisy street

This hotel is right in the centre, which is great, but it also means if you get a room facing the street, it's incredibly loud. You will not get a lie in. The balcony door is only a single pane of glass, so in the morning and throughout the day it's very, very loud. Sharing a bathroom wasn't bad, there were hardly any other guests around as it's off-season. The beds were comfortable and the staff very friendly.

A perfect location to have a wonderful short break

I recently stayed at the Juanita hostel celebrating my 50th birthday with my 5 friends. I had a great time and I will be back to stay at the Juanita again. Before we arrived I worked with Barbara at the hostel via email to ensure everything was organised for the trip. Barbara is a delight to work with and she made sure everything was in place for our arrival. The location is ideal for making the most of a short break. Close to the harbour and the old town of Ibiza and within easy reach to the bus that took us to Salinas and the ferry that took us to Formentera. The hostel was clean and the breakfast was really enjoyable. We met on the roof terrace for breakfast each morning. I had an air-conditioned room which made a big difference as it was very hot in August. All the staff at the hostel are very friendly and professional and any request was actioned with speed and efficiency. I would recommend this place to stay for anyone that wants an enjoyable break central to everything to see on the beautiful Island of Ibiza.

Great place to stay. In the heart of Elvissa and close to the old town. Staff were extremely helpful in answering questions and providing information. Hostal Juanita is super cute and quaint. Only small irritation, was that walls are thin, so you can hear quite a bit. Recommend bringing ear plugs but other than that, the stay was great!

Visit this hotel if you are looking for great location, good value, very clean :) Bathrooms are communal but not too busy and cleaned regularly. The roof terrace is lovely for a beer or cocktail, too.

Clean, cute hostal in the centre of Ibiza Town

Stayed with friends here for Halloween parties so just 3 nights. Location is perfect at that time of year as I imagine in Summer it may be too hot staying in the town (although the property does have air con). We had 2 suites which is essentially a normal hotel room with your own bathroom. The price was really reasonable all things considered and it is spacious enough for two people for that length of time luggage wise.
No safe but it is a hostal and the property felt secure. Has wonderful roof terrace too but I guess in the summer it may be evenings only as the daytime would probably fry you to a crisp! But lovely views to the old town and perfect place to have a bottle of wine and chill out.
Noise carries in the property too - and just an advisory depending who you are sharing with that the bathroom is a mere sliding door away from the main bedroom of your room.
Main issue really which would prevent me staying here is that the shower - whilst clean and not shower curtain laden which is a huge plus, was really low in pressure and I mean low as in a single trickle of water. The issue was resolved quickly by staff as they turned on the additional pressure but then the hot water goes if one person showers and you need to shower after them. It's part of staying in Ibiza Town they told us so I can only imagine what a stay in summer would be like.
It's not their fault but for me, I couldn't stay there again and certainly for no longer than a couple of nights due to this.

People are super friendly and helpful especially the staff. Rooms are very clean. They also have nice roof top bar overlooking the Ibiza town. So the view is awesome and is great way to wind down.

We stayed at the top floor Shower pressure wasn't that great other than that I don't have any issues. FYI this is not a party hostel and would cost you an €20-25 to get to San Antonio by taxi.

The hostal is right next to the strip of shops leading down to Ibiza Port - a good location. Note that there is no lift so you need to carry your luggage up the stairs yourself, and there won't always be staff to help you. Locked myself out one day and the reception was really helpful. Toilets are not ensuite, ours was two rooms to a shared common toilet, if that bothers you. Overall good stay though.

Great location and very friendly staff

This hostal is right in the middle of it all. It's in a great location. The room was a good size and clean. We did have to share a bathroom which was fine with us. There are no lifts so it may be struggle for some to climb the many stairs. The staff were so friendly, they were so helpful and just amazing to me and my fiance. It's a good place to stay on a budget.

Fab location, litrally bang smack in the middle of Ibiza old town. Only 10 euros for taxi to bora bora beach and 25 euros to San Antonio! Rooms are basic but fine! Roof terrace is amazing as well! Perfect place to chill after a night out !

Great location and very friendly staff. The rooms were clean and the roof terrace was a good place to hang out. After going to Ibiza for 10 years running, I can say that this is a excellent value for money in Ibiza town. Only criticism would be that the air shaft between the rooms is very noisy, but this is Ibiza after all so it is to be expected that there will be some noise.

We booked a suite as that is the only type of room that has a private bathroom. We like this place due to its location that is walking distance to all the major sights, but if you have a suitcase or if you can't climb stairs then this would not be a place for you. The manager was a very nice man who went downstairs to help me carry my suitcase when my husband carried his up to the reception area and then to the room. He helped us again when we checked out. So the service was great but we would prefer a place with an elevator even though we love walking and hiking. The receptionist recommended a few places for us with our rental car when we told her that we are not interested in parties and bars but enjoy historical monuments/sites and beautiful places where we can hike and enjoy the scenery. She was great as we enjoyed the cave and the nice hiking locations that she had recommended.

Really enjoyed our stay here, very close to the marina and all the restaurants and bars. Location was perfect for us.Will return next year however I would stay in a room with its own shower rather than share.

Great hotel but only if you're staying up!

Great place and really can't fault it except for the fact that the noise levels were crazy! It's bang in the centre of town and the sounds of the nightlife were pretty impossible to deal with. We were just taking a few quiet, early nights and it was probably not the best location. Absolutely lovely place and really delightful staff.

Hostal juanita is in the perfect location for parties and general holidaying in Ibiza! The hostal staff is what made our trip so enjoyable! They are all incredibly hospitable sharing local knowledge for tourists new to the area! Unfortunatly on the last day my laundry was at the local dry cleaners and I missed picking it up prior to siesta when my plane was flying out! One of the hostals receptionists went above and beyond to pick up my laundry the next day and post it to an address in London for me! It all arrived safely :)
This hostal facilitated a perfect holiday in Ibiza

This is hostel is in a nice location but it can be so noisy. The walls are paper thin and the heating system has an airlock in it so everytime anyone turn on the tap you hear a loud nose. Set this against great location and some good staff........................

Le séjour s'est très bien passé même si nous avons eu la surprise de découvrir que la salle de bien était sur le palier et commune et que nous avions deux lit simple.
Heureusement que notre séjour ne consisté pas à profiter de la chambre mais plutôt à faire la fête.
Considerez cet endroit comme une auberge de jeunesse plutôt qu'un hôtel.

Foi uma escolha errada!

A localização é excelente, o quarto não era bom, sem perceber eu reservei um quarto sem banheiro e mesmo tendo pago mais caro do que o quarto que tinha banheiro privativo a atendente não aceitou a troca, queria que eu pagasse mais. As fotos não mostram a realidade. Também tem muitas escadas. Errei na escolha e me arrependi. Não recomendo!

Hostal excelente. Atendimento muito bom na recepção em todos os momentos, o quarto em perfeitas condições e banheiro muito bom, sempre limpo e apesar de ser compartilhado, sempre estava disponível (era compartilhado apenas com outro quarto). Boa localização. Me hospedaria novamente com certeza.

Die Lage ist sehr praktisch im Zentrum und bei den Bushaltestellen. Die Preise sind für das was man bekommt absolut angemessen, wenn man weiß was man sonst in Ibiza in der Hauptsaison bezahlt. Die Zimmerreinigung findet bis 14:00 Uhr statt, was super ist, wenn man nach einem Clubbesuch länger schlafen möchte. Schöne Dachterrasse!

Sauber Unterkunft in hervorragender Lage. Shoppingläden und Ibiza Altstadt zu Fuß in wenigen Minutan erreichbar. Zum nächsten Strand zu Fuß ca 15 min. Gute Busanbindung oder Wassertaxi zur Playa d Bossa.
Ich hatte ein DZ mit Balkon für mich alleine. Matratzen waren bequem, Waschbecken im Zimmer, für eine Nacht absolut ausreichend.

L’hôtel gagne à être connu par sa localisation, ses tarifs et l’amabilité du personnel. Évidemment ce n’est pas le luxe tapageur des hôtels de plage mais c’est simple, propre et efficace, un grand lit une salle de bains propre, suffisamment équipée.

Muy buena la atención en la recepción. Todo está muy limpio, y el ambiente agradable. Lo mejor es la ubicación. Está cerca de tomar el autobús y a muchos lugares caminando. Perfecto para pasar una corta estadía
