We stayed in this property for 5 days (December 11 to 16). On checking out, we asked for the total fee for our parking our vehicle for the 5 nights. We were told it costs £8 a night and to pay using the machine at the gate. We did. We paid £40 for the 5 nights. We got home, and received a £60 \"fine\" for parking at this hotel, even though we paid, we have the receipt and it shows in our credit card. We got another £60 admin fee charged by our car rental company to our card for this same \"fine\". We called the hotel and they said there is nothing they can do. We called HORIZON PARKING and they said they don't deal with appeals over the phone. They not even interested in listening to us or looking at the evidence. Before the hotel \"moved\" the car park management to HORIZON PARKING\", we had stayed here 3-4 times in the past each time we are in the UK, pre-covid. So, in essence, we lost £160 to parking fee for 5 days! This is certainly our last time staying in this hotel. They should get their act together and take responsibility for clients who stay with them rather than hiding under the coverage of Horizon Parking managing their parking.
